I contacted Sano for something different; I have a steam shower that was installed when I did a bathroom remodel and it stopped working. The manufacture recommended I reach out to an HVAC company instead of a plumber as it's more similar in functionality to a heater. After a call to SANO, they had a tech out same day that was able to diagnose the issue in minutes. They recommended a home water filtration system and anti-scale unit to prevent my municipal water quality from damaging my heating elements (this was the source of failure). They came back a few days latter and repaired the steam shower and swapped my water filtration system and all is working perfectly! I recommended them to my mom when she was quoted an outrageous amount from a competitor, and they redid her entire HVAC system for 20% less than the competitor quote with top-notch work. I need to post pictures later as I've never seen an HVAC company take the care they did at my mom's place. First off, much respect to the military. I have a good friend who is a high ranking officer and have family that served. Second, I used Sano to replace my garbage disposal last year, Ryan came out and did a good job. Nice guy. Recently, I discovered that the drainage pipe going from my water softener to the sewer line was leaking. Put the softener in bypass and it stopped leaking, then started again. Reached out to Sano again as I had a good first experience. They came out and did a quick assessment. The technician made a call and pretty quickly determined I needed a new softener. Was quoted over $8K for a new water softener (1,300 SF condo) which is absurd, so I sought further quotes. Ended up getting a new softener for $2,200 two days later. The technician (not a plumber) could pretty quickly tell that there was a clog in the drain below the drain pipe and recommended a plumber come out ASAP. Glad I got a new water softener, but I suppose I'll never know if my old one needed to be replaced as the issue was identified to be something else. More water is leaking and now it's pretty obvious it's a clog and nothing to do with the water softener. If Sano had actually looked at the pipe and fixed the issue as a plumber, they would have had a repeat customer. Instead, nothing more than a ludicrous upsell. Zero business earned and all future business lost. read more

Highly highly recommend this business. I had called them out last year to install new thermostats in my home. While there, they inspected my heating and cooling units. Fast forward to now. Jim came out today to give my heating unit a checkup. I signed up with their monthly plan, which gives me a heater unit tune up, an AC unit tune up, and a water tank flush for once a year for each. Jim was highly professional. He took his time in evaluating the heater system and gave me a thorough explanation of what he did and what he recommended. They are polite and courteous, and they clean up after every job. We had them install new HVAC systems last year, and we have been very pleased with the efficiency of the systems. We were pleasantly surprised that our electric bill has gone down because we replaced our outdated and inefficient HVAC systems. They are working beautifully and have kept our home cool and comfortable during this hot summer. Yesterday, Lous Velarde came to our house to double check the HVAC systems and replace the filters. He did a great job inspecting everything and making sure we are ready for winter. He was thorough and explained everything he checked. He made a recommendation to install surge protection on our HVAC systems so that in case of a power surge it doesn't hurt the internal circuitry in our expensive HVAC systems. I didn't end up hiring them to fix the leak because my AC is still under warranty, so I had the original installer handle the repair. Found a main water leak Friday afternoon around 2pm. We immediately dug it up and put a request through Yelp. Sano Plumbing replied right away and when I called them at 3pm they said they would have someone out between 5-7. They were there by 4pm and we walked through all the options and it was clear we would need to re-pipe to our house. By 6pm they had a crew scheduled to come out and do the job.
