Had a horrible experience eating at the bar here. Bartenders here are rude. We were two guys eating together at the bar and I guess it was too much for them. We felt like we were getting heckled in Spanish right in front of our faces. Understood a few choices words which prompted us to get up leave mid meal. Notified the manager who I'm sure did absolutely nothing about it. Will never return to this phobic establishment. It's unfortunate because we were regulars. If you must eat here, avoid bar area especially if you're dining with someone of same gender!

Great location. Staff very friendly. Great music. Food is wonderful, great specials. Tortilla espanola and stuffed mushrooms are exceptional! Sangria is light and fruity...so refreshing. Will definately be back!

    Paella

Stopped in for lunch Gabriell the hostess was plesent with a nice smile always was not crowded.I ordered the Paella! my serving plate was cold.i asked him to heat it . He did . My chicken was tender but bland just needed some salt an pepper The shrimps were overdone I had to spit one out overdone. My Chorizo was bland tasted like Balogny the rice had no flavor, the pool of liquid on the bottom of the pan, no flavors.my .i asked if the Seafood was cooked separately ? he said no. There was no steam coming off the top of the shrimp it looked like it had been placed. Mussels I think I tasted 1. I've been eating Paella since I was a kid. Overall big light down!

We came here for dinner. The restaurant is pretty large and I was surprised that they only had a couple of other tables dining here. I ordered the lobster from the special menu. The whole lobster was $25, so I thought that was a very good price. And it tasted pretty good. We came here mainly for the paella, so we ordered the Paella Valenciana. They had run out of mussels for that day. For a restaurant known for flan, I was expecting better. It was a bit on the bland side. Ended with the flan, which I also thought was just decent.

This place is cute in ambiance - the decor is elegant and inviting. The service was also pleasant. This restaurant requires valet parking which I thought was unnecessary considering the parking space available. The food was palatable, however, it was not amazing. The seafood did not taste very fresh and the paella was slightly dry. None of the tapas really wowed me. I did not try everything on the menu so it is possible that what I ordered is not a good representation of what they serve. The sangria was good!

Amazing dinner last night! Service was great!

Our waiter, Steve, was incredible, and the entire staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. I believe Rich, the owner, stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was perfect, which added such a personal touch. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, like stepping onto the set of an old-world Italian movie. The soft Italian music, warm lighting, and elegant atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. The drinks were spot on. I had two Belvedere vodkas on the rocks with martini olives, and they were perfectly prepared. The specials all sounded tempting, but the regular menu offers more than enough outstanding choices, with an impressive selection of pasta, chicken, veal, and seafood dishes. We started with the Insalata Mista, featuring romaine, Boston lettuce, chicory, radicchio, tomatoes, and anchovies, along with roasted peppers and anchovies. I can never get enough anchovies. For our entrées, we shared a bone-in chicken special served with a rich Gorgonzola cream sauce, and a simple but perfectly executed linguine with garlic and oil. Sometimes the simplest dishes are the most satisfying. Dessert was outstanding--a slice of rainbow cake served with zabaglione, fresh blueberries, and whipped cream, accompanied by two flawless cappuccinos. Yes, the food was outstanding. Yes, the service was outstanding. And yes, the atmosphere was outstanding. But what really sets this place apart is something that's hard to describe: the vibe. It's warm, authentic, welcoming, and just feels old world special. Years ago, my favorite restaurant on Long Island was Caracalla on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset. Sadly, it burned down in 2013, and I've been searching ever since for a restaurant that could fill that void. Nothing ever did--until now. Sempre Vivolo has officially earned that spot. It has become my new favorite restaurant on Long Island, and I can't wait to go back.

I spoke to a woman in the bathroom and she said even if you don't have a reservation, you can always find a spot on the grass or chairs. There's plenty of room to hang out. Our server Les was incredible! You can tell when you have a great experienced waiter that is truly good at their job and love what they do! Pay him whatever he wants and never let him go! He truly made the dining experience above and beyond. I ordered the Sauvignon Blanc and he asked me if I wanted a glass or a bottle and I told him I couldn't drink a bottle because I had to drive home. He told me if I was gonna have two glasses. It would end up being about equal to the bottle price and that I could take the rest of the wine home! What a nice surprise, and the fact that he pointed out made me feel like he goes above and beyond for his customers! Now let's talk about the food! I was in a party of three and they had ordered the appetizer sandwich for the table which was gigantic! Both of the other guests love the sandwich, but I didn't try it because I do not like prosciutto. The truffle chips were fantastic; I'm still thinking about them and I didn't even know I liked truffle! I ate 90% of them. The portions are massive but in a good way because the food is exceptional! One guest was so full from the sandwich that she opted to not order an entrée I ordered the margarita flatbread and it had to be over a foot and a half long. I ended up taking half home and my husband ate it and said it was delicious as well. The other guest ordered the meatballs and I tasted them and they were quite delicious. By the time the meal was over we left with half a sandwich half a flatbread and some extra meatballs. For dessert: we got a llimoncello flute and I got the largest lemon beautifully presented with lemon sorbet! I told us I don't usually take pictures of my food, but this was photo worthy! The wine was one of my favorite Sauvignon Blanc that I've ever had in my life! We will definitely go back for the food and definitely will be purchasing the wine again! 4/5 food 10/5 for the service and ambience Thank you for a wonderful experience on a beautiful afternoon! The spicy sauce on the side was way too spicy for me. 3/5 Bavarian pretzel $17- pretzel itself is standard, comes with honey mustard, spicy brown mustard, & mayo sriracha. I liked both of the mustards. 3/5 Meat & cheese board $59- didn't try the meat or bread but comes with grapes, cranberries, dates, olives & nuts. Everything I tried was decent.

What a bummer !!!…read more Before writing this review, I made sure to come back several times, on Friday nights, to see if my experience was just a one-off. Unfortunately, things have definitely changed. The vibe that once made this place special just isn't there anymore. On a Friday night, the atmosphere feels flat, and even the lighting could use some work (Too Bright) it would benefit from being dimmed to create a more inviting and energetic setting. The staff doesn't seem as engaged as they once were, and sadly, the food isn't hitting the same either. The biggest disappointment, however, has been the music. The DJs don't seem to know how to read the crowd. When most of the room is sitting down and barely even bobbing their heads, it's probably time to switch things up and get some energy flowing. The one bright spot is Mike behind the bar. He's still on point, keeps the drinks coming, and provides the level of service that keeps customers happy. I truly enjoyed this place in the past, which makes it even more disappointing to see it heading in this direction. I'm hoping management takes notice and brings back the atmosphere that made people want to keep coming back.
