    Crispy Prosciutto Gnocchi
    Phuong H.

Service: Slow. It took a while for everything to get done. Don't get me wrong, the food came out hot but everything else felt delayed. Food: Crispy Gnocchi- Regular. When they advertise as crispy, I would imagine a crisp to the gnocchi. It was lost because it was drenched in a cream sauce. Short Rib Ragu- Delicious. I would get this time and time again. The hearty portion was enough to feed 2. The pasta was well cooked and the sauce was not over salted. Little Neck Clam- Classic. This is a classic staple you can get at most italian restaurants. If you want something light and want seafood, this is for you! On to my next adventure...

So we came here only because we drove by and saw it looked nice. We stopped in and greeted by the friendliest person, Cassie - her customer service skills were so on point. The inside of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and their food was phenomenal with a big serving. The staff was great, the decor was super cute. And it wasn't too expensive for a nice, romantic place like this. On the left side of this restaurant, there was a long bar - so nice! Very chill and relaxing. Apparently they have pie sales on a Monday, and Sunday they have a live musician. Their bathrooms were super nice. Also, I had the best drink I've ever had: Rainbow Cookie Martini. It's a MUST try! Alex the bartender was great and friendly. All around, this restaurant was a complete win! Can't wait to come back here again!

Came here for two birthdays and we were generously greeted with a champagne toast. It also happened to be restaurant week so we took advantage of that and ordered the zucchini fritters for an app, they were good, not greasy. My mom and I split the vodka lasagna and the chicken vodka parmesan and both were amazing and decent portion sizes. The vodka sauce was so creamy and flavorful. I ordered the pistachio martini and I was blown away by how good it was. We also got the bread pudding and brownie alla mode for desserts. They upcharge for credit card though and the service was beyond friendly! I'll be back soon!

Way too loud to have a conversation, and our order came out wrong because the server couldn't hear us. The food was average and overpriced.

The apps included: chickpea fries, Caesar salad, spicy tuna crispy rice, French onion soup, and jumbo shrimp cocktail. Entrees included: tavern burger, Monterey chicken club, cobb salad, fish & chips, roasted cauliflower 'steak', and lobster roll (either cold or warm). I went with the chickpea fries, which were very crispy on the outside and extremely creamy on the inside. It is coated in a layer of chickpea powder and then fried. It was very interesting and i'd order this again. It paired well with the harissa aioli. For my entrée, I got the beer-battered fish and chips. My fries were much thicker than everyone else's, and they also came with potato chips that tasted oily. I didn't love the fish and chips and wouldn't order this again, but my friends enjoyed their burgers, shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, and roasted cauliflower steak. Service was good. The wait staff checked on us many times to make sure everyone got their food and that our water cups were full. The outside of Mirabelle is beautiful, and we saw it being set up for a baby shower. Near the bar, there is a sticker machine that takes quarters and offers stickers featuring the Inn, espresso martinis, dirty martinis, and a burger.

They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serving up amazing meals at each. Choose from 5 different gravies and then your schnitzel. Traditionally served with pork or veal, but they do have chicken or eggplant as well! I went with the classic Weinershnitzel which is traditionally served with veal schnitzel and served with brown gravy. Lindsey got the Chicken Rahmschnitzel which is schnitzel topped with a creamy white reisling-infused mushroom gravy. Both were filled with flavor and we were very impressed! All schnitzel is served with spätzle, seasonal vegetables, and red cabbage. This was the definition of a comfort meal that. We started with their Bavarian Cheese Board, and classic German appetizers - potatoes pancakes paired with this insane apple butter, and potato dumplings with your choice of gravy. We loved the vibe in there. Great pub style feel but also nice indoor and outdoor eating. Our server Eden was amazing and such a great help! We truly loved this place and we can wait to go back! What a bummer !!!…read more Before writing this review, I made sure to come back several times, on Friday nights, to see if my experience was just a one-off. Unfortunately, things have definitely changed. The vibe that once made this place special just isn't there anymore. On a Friday night, the atmosphere feels flat, and even the lighting could use some work (Too Bright) it would benefit from being dimmed to create a more inviting and energetic setting. The staff doesn't seem as engaged as they once were, and sadly, the food isn't hitting the same either. The biggest disappointment, however, has been the music. The DJs don't seem to know how to read the crowd. When most of the room is sitting down and barely even bobbing their heads, it's probably time to switch things up and get some energy flowing. The one bright spot is Mike behind the bar. He's still on point, keeps the drinks coming, and provides the level of service that keeps customers happy. I truly enjoyed this place in the past, which makes it even more disappointing to see it heading in this direction. I'm hoping management takes notice and brings back the atmosphere that made people want to keep coming back.

Let's start with the good. We went on a full Saturday night. Our waitress and waiter, despite their…read moreeerily "The Menu-esque" mannerisms, were very friendly. The waiter very enthusiastically brought me a perfectly chilled beer and a perfectly chilled glass. I dug that. The Tokyo White beer was delicious. One of the best beers I've had. Our waitress did - on at least two occasions - tell us the chef recommends that we eat the dish faster and immediately after it is placed in front of us. To her credit, she said it in the nicest possible way and we obliged. Now let's talk about the food. The first course was an oyster. Tasted like eel sauce and wasabi- but a good balance. The second course was some sort of Tataki. It was also pretty good. Tasted like eel sauce and wasabi- but a good balance. The third course was some sort of seaweed salad. It was pretty good. Tasted like eel sauce and wasabi (you might be starting to recognize a pattern). The fourth course I don't fully remember the name of. It did NOT taste like eel sauce and wasabi. It was a warm dish, temperature wise. It kind of tasted like a thick seafood/corn chowder, but it wasn't a soup and it has a shredded consistency. It was alright. The next course was what they described as some sort of chef specialty soup that had to "cook for hours and hours".. It was miso soup. It was good miso soup. As good as any $4 miso soup I've had at any good, local, non-Omakase sushi restaurant. Was it better? No. And it was served in a plastic cup. It really should've been served in some sort of a stone or ceramic cup/bowl. I don't even eat out of plastic in my own home when I'm throwing together a quick $10 meal. There may have been one more starter course- but if there was, it certainly wasn't memorable. Now we're onto the "main course" dishes. This might be the fault of my own ignorance, that I expected the dishes to be very unique and make us "oooh and ahhh". But the next five courses are just single pieces of sushi roll. The staff and the chef would show us pictures of the fish and the chef would hold up the actual fish they were using- as well as showing us the JFK shipping label to confirm that it had been flown in recently. I believe you! But these next five dishes are where the immeasurable disappointment really kicks in. Each single roll was from a different type of fish- and I'm sure it was some of the highest quality, freshest fish they could source. Unfortunately, every single piece tasted exactly the same. This is not hyperbole or an exaggeration- all five of the next courses tasted exactly the same- like an average sushi place roll but with eel sauce SATURATED rice and a big glob of wasabi. That was the only flavor profile- eel sauce and wasabi. Some of them were seared with a torch. The ones that were seared with the torch had a slightly different flavor profile- the torched ones tasted like eel sauce, wasabi and butane from the torch! Again, this is not hyperbole or exaggeration- the main course sushi rolls from this high-end Japanese restaurant all tasted exactly the same. If I had bought those rolls at a regular sushi restaurant for $20 per six pieces I would've been disappointed. It's just not good. It's boring. All you can taste is soy sauce, eel sauce, wasabi, and butane.. I truly felt like they were playing a joke on us- seeing how pretentious they could act while serving us beyond overpriced and mediocre food and watch us all eat it up both figuratively and literally. Every single $15 roll I've had from Sushi Ichi or Mt Sinai Sushi (two other local Japanese restaurants) is preferable to what they're serving at Sora Omakase. We had the option of adding on a single piece Wagyu beef roll for $30. Thankfully, I didn't fall for it. I'm sure it would've tasted like eel sauce, wasabi, and butane. Now let's move on to the last course. They called it a "dessert" - but it's another salty fish dish of some sort. I don't fully remember what it was, but I do remember that there was a little piece of plastic on top of it. So I have to awkwardly ask the chef if this piece of, what I clearly know is plastic garbage that shouldn't have made its way to my plate, is edible.. the chef feigns a language barrier and pretends like he doesn't know what I'm saying. He tells me that it's seed garnish. I say "no not the garnish- I'm asking what this little piece of plastic is" and pointed it out to him. He says " oh that's paper" and he plucks it off my dish before I had a chance to take a picture of it. I didn't expect them to give me money back or even remake it- but they barely acknowledged it and didn't even apologize for the mistake. I couldn't help but I think about the waitress, reminding me that the chef recommends eating each dish immediately for the best culinary experience. Well, I have a suggestion for the chef- for the best possible culinary experience - I recommend you make sure you don't serve a customer plastic garbage.

AWFUL SERVICE -- EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING…read more My family and I dined at Ruth's Chris to celebrate my brother's birthday and the experience was terrible from start to finish, primarily due to our waitress, Michelle. Michelle was not attentive, warm, or polite at any point during our meal. Two of our steaks were cooked incorrectly. When we brought this to her attention, she said she could have them remade, but that we would need to take them to go because it would take a while. That response was shocking. Why would anyone want their freshly remade steak boxed up when they are dining in and paying premium prices? On top of that, Michelle never asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I had to get up from the table mid-meal to inform the manager that it was my brother's birthday and request a dessert with a candle. To make matters worse, my mom's meal included a complimentary dessert, and Michelle never once asked which dessert she wanted or offered any options. Later, when Michelle came to clear the table and asked if we were ready for the check, we said yes--assuming she would bring the birthday dessert to the table and then the check. Instead, she returned with the check and the birthday dessert in a TO-GO BAG. Completely absurd. In what world does a server package a birthday surprise to go when guests clearly came in to celebrate? It was thoughtless, careless, and ruined what should have been a special moment. Ruth's Chris is known for fine dining and high standards, but this experience did not reflect that at all. Management seriously needs to address Michelle's service. 0/5 stars. Would not recommend based on this experience.
