I went to the grand opening for Side Street Dive and it was such a great event. The place has a really fun, laid back vibe and you can tell it is going to be a great spot to hang out. They did a really nice job with everything. The food was really good and not just typical bar food, and the drinks were on point. Everything felt well put together, especially for an opening event. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. I ended up going back after the event just to see how it felt on a regular night and it definitely held up. The drinks were consistently good and the service was just as friendly and attentive. It is always a good sign when a place feels just as solid after opening night. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back.

I was blessed to be about to go the Yelp pre-grand opening of this establishment. The place was huge, with a spacious bar and an outdoor area as well, which I know will be amazing in the summer. The staff were 10/10, friendly, accommodating and just really nice. I started out with the spinach and artichoke pinwheel, which was really good, also don't let me forget about the Bruschetta we had as well. Then came the chicken parm as well as different sections of pizza. I tried the margarita pizza and the buffalo pizza, which was my absolute fave! It was just the right amount of heat. I would definitely come back, especially during the summer, the place just had a great vibe and the bartenders were amazing too!

I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Side Street Dive as a plus one for a Yelp Elite member, and I'm so glad I did! The ambiance was picturesque, welcoming, and an overall great vibe. The staff provided exceptional service! Very attentive and friendly throughout the event. The food and drinks were really good, and you can tell there's quality behind what they're serving. I had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Great event! Super spacious interior and fun/industrial decor. We were served up lots of carbs. My fav was def the pizza. Cocktails were good but there was some inconsistency with them. I tried the Ranch water but I liked the Spicy Paloma way better. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The Photo Booth is always fun by DJ Dos. And loved the live music by Anthony. The outdoor area will definitely be great in the summer!

We had a fabulous fun night at the side street dive! Run for the spicy buffalo chicken pizza! You will not regret it. The staff is top notch! Come on down and enjoy the music and cool vibe! It has the outside deck from the old emporium! Dance floor after 10 on the weekends starting next week! Wheel chair accessibility is difficult. We brought our own ramp to get my hubby in. Wheel chairs not can get down to the deck. There are high top tables and regular height tables. Accessible bathroom is not big enough and does not have bars. Overall I loved the vibe!!

This is such a cool spot! I popped in the other day and I am so excited to come back especially for summer! I can just imagine the fun vibes hanging out outside on a sunny day! Such a cool concept! Food was great, the pizzas were so delicious and they have so much on their menu!

Dog sitting on table and licking food

They let a dog sit on the table and eat off a plate of food. The same table you sit and eat at. When the owner of the dog took the plate away the dog proceeded to lick the food off the table. When I brought it to someone's attention they shrugged and said "we're dog friendly". It's disgusting.

Boneless wings that were so good we forgot to take a picture lol

I checked out Side Street Dive on a Tuesday night. The vibe is great--cool layout, welcoming crowd, and they even had trivia going on, which added a fun energy to the space. Food-wise, no complaints. We ordered boneless wings, two Philly cheesesteaks with fries, and lemoncello desserts. Everything was well-presented and tasted really good. The bartender was attentive and did a nice job overall. That said, I left a bit disappointed. Between two glasses of Pinot Noir, two draft beers, and dinner, the bill came to around $160. Not unreasonable--but coming from someone in the industry, I was surprised there wasn't even a small gesture like a buyback, especially since we were celebrating my cousin's birthday. When I mentioned it, the manager asked if we were on happy hour drinks, which didn't really feel relevant to the point I was making. It wasn't about getting something for free--it was more about the experience and that extra touch of hospitality that makes a place stand out. They've only been open about a month, so I'm definitely willing to give them another shot. There's a lot of potential here, and the foundation is strong. Just hoping they lean a little more into that hospitality piece moving forward.

Enjoyed a sneak peak at the Side Street Dive in Patchogue that officially opens today, March 13. The atmosphere is lively and fun with eclectic artwork on the walls that has a vintage nod. The bar is large with lots of seating and the drinks were delicious. The s'mores martini comes topped with a toasted marshmallow that gets "roasted" in front of you. My favorite drink of the night was the Italian Cosmo which was light and refreshing. Food will include a variety of pizzas, pastas, cheesesteak, burgers and more. There is a lot of outdoor seating which is sure to be a popular spot this summer.

Not only that but we didn't get a waitress so she took the liberty to serve/wait on us. She deserves all the credit last night. NOW!!! - WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THE PRICE IF THE CAESAR SALAD AND THE COST TO ADD CHICKEN. This is where the negative stats come in. I don't care who you are but the nerve to charge that much money to add chicken to a Caesar salad salad which probably cost $1.50 to make is maddening. This is a dish that you probably make the highest return and profit on so to take one chicken small chicken breast which you're probably buying in bulk and getting for next to nothing and charge $10 for it to be cooked and cut up into a couple of pieces and thrown on top of the salad really was a turn off to me. Other than that we got a fair price on drinks and the chicken wings which were on Special. So I think we got 10 wings for 12 bucks or something. It was a good deal and they were good. Fix that salad situation. That's totally f&$ked

A ton of TV's. We had been there during the NFL season and enjoyed it. Today we went with the price fixe lunch special. 1 beer, 1 app 1 main . $18. Definitely a good price. I had the dogfish head 60 minute IPA. Really good, very cold which is a huge plus. App was shrimp wonton tacos. Good, not great, small portion but not bad as part of a price fixe item. Crispy shell, fresh shrimp. Main was chipotle chicken wrap. Very good. Not dry with a nice blend of cheese, a little kick as well. Negatives: we asked for the wrap without pico , however it was not left off. It was quickly returned without any issues . When we received the check we were charged double. This was also quickly resolved. Overall, good place , decent food average beer selection. A good place to see a game and sample pub food. Not breaking any new ground here.

The staff were some of the nicest and most helpful guys I've had the pleasure of doing business with, they even gave us some extra time since we showed up a little late and there weren't any other rentals after us. Good selection of drinks and if you're hungry, they don't have their own kitchen but they have a deal with Rhum next door to order food, which is some good tasty bar food. I love the sort of mid century modern style they have going on, it fits the golf atmosphere, but none of the snobiness that it usually brings with the sport. I've been to Main Street Patchogue a few times before and I'm always amazed at how it's now like Huntington, with tons of eateries, bars and places to hear live music. It was a busy late Spring Friday night and my cousin told me if we were there just two weeks later (ie, post Memorial Day), there would have been lines to get in anywhere. So make resos! I made one easily earlier that day and when we arrived around 7:30, it was not packed, but it is pretty loud in there even half full. Our waiter, Jonathan, expertly took such great care of us from start to finish, even taking my father's dad jokes in stride. There's a solid cocktail menu, but I had a couple glasses of a better-than-decent prosecco. My cousin loved his espresso martini. For food, count on a couple respectable vegan entrees and I went with the Japanese eggplant with cashew ricotta. The eggplant is delicious, slightly sweet with a creamy rather than chewy (thank god) texture. The cashew ricotta is also tasty, but I do think it needed to be blended a bit more to remove the slightly grainy texture (the cashews might have needed more soaking). My father loved his French onion soup and pastrami sandwich. Separate paragraph for the fries. They deserve it. I'm glad we ordered these to share- it's an enormous platter of them. I appreciated that they were salted perfectly. I appreciate restaurants that can make satisfy a variety of preferences and dietary restrictions. The vibe here is festive and vibrant and a great choice for groups and families.

On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.
