If you're looking for something fancy and out of the ordinary, this is not the place. BUT, if you're looking for something original and homie, this is the spot. I was craving just a good traditional homestyle CLUB sandwich and I knew this was the spot. Although, they do have a variety of selections which look delicious but I'm a more simple kind of gal. The owner is very friendly. It may have been a little more than I expected but I'm always up for supporting local mom and pop restaurants, so it's worth it. I love to support small businesses where the product is better than most and the price is very reasonable. This is that kind of place. A wide selection of different sandwiches are listed on the menu. Have a favorite combination? Just ask them. Personally I enjoy their sandwiches made with Squaw bread. Delicious and not often found. Better than any burger or fast food joint. Please don't be discouraged by some of the other reviews. Some people find it difficult to see the brighter side of life. Come in and make up your own mind. Been coming here for years. Super friendly workers. She takes care and remebers your face if you come in often. I always order the chicken wrap with avocado. All sandwiches are good. Price may be a bitter higher than say subway, but there is more variety, plus the quality is more of something you would eat at home. If you are in the area for lunch I would recommend you stop by. My favorite thing to do here is watch the minimum purchase amount for a credit card fee go up. When I first started going here it was at $5.99. Now it's up to $12.99! So basically add 50 cents to your total every time. I'm also pretty sure it's illegal to do this. Food is pretty good, not great. ESPECIALLY for the price. $9.01 for a luke warm chicken wrap and a bottled water. That includes the $0.50 credit card charge. The lady at the counter has generally been nice. She'll recognize you if you've been in more than once. She can be rude at times but I just account that to her culture. Overall, I frequent this place once or twice a month. WORST SERVICE EVER As soon as I tried to order I was told no we can't do that and I needed to read the menu. There was a large menu on the wall that is apparently not the actual menu and a small taped menu on the counter is the real one. I wanted a club, chips and a drink and I told her this. She kept interrupting me, walking away and pointing to the menu on the counter. I grabbed my chips and asked for my drink. She said "I ask you, you say no" and gave me a look as if I the customer was inconveniencing her. If I had not already paid and feeling under the weather I would not have eaten here. I told her to make my sandwich to go. When I get back to my office and eat my $10 sandwich, it just gets worse. This sandwich looked like Subway could have done a better job. Portions to price are way off. If I am paying that much for just a sandwich I should be able to safe half for later. As well the avocado was not even ripe! It was hard and like rubber. On a warm day like this a pastrami sandwich hit the spot here at the ol sandwich hut. But you have to ask for your bread toasted and no mayo or onions because that's the way I like em.....the people are friendly and their rush hour just hit and my sandwich came in about five or ten minutes so it wasn't too bad of a wait but I was going to save my other half of my foot long for later but I just couldn't resist it had to be eaten all and all the experience was great. read more

I have been going to the Sandwich Hut for about 2 years as it is near my work. I too have had the owner be a bit rude or bossy with me but she can also be very nice and does remember your name and what you order. I do find the food most of the time to be very good and the sandwiches are fresh, although sometimes the green peppers and tomatoes are sliced so thin they are transparent. My biggest concern is the iced tea. More recently it has been tasting like it is either made through an uncleaned coffee maker or they are mixing old coffee with the tea to stretch it out. It is making me not want to go there as often, especially on a hot day. read more

Got the French dip. Nothing fresh about it. 2 ingredients: bread and "meat". The bread tasted liked it'd been on the shelf for a year and the meat, if you could call it meat, was very low quality with a lot of gristle. It came with the dipping liquid which taste just like sea water. Just salt and water. I can't say I've ever had a worse sandwich passed off as a French dip. I could have gone to chick filla or The Sandwich Place down the street and gotten a way better sandwich for the same price. Will not be back. read more

I LOVE their sandwiches and split pea soup! I always order my usual Sandwich Hut Special which is made up of Squaw bread (you can choose the bread you want), turkey (large amounta of it), shredded lettuce, and what really makes this sandwich is the cucumber and apple slices. Everything is always so fresh and the lady who always takes my order is so sweet (she offers me some cut up watermelon in the summer time) and she knows my order when I call it in and has it ready so all I have to do is pick it up and go. I work at the vet hospital near there and I never know when ill be going on my lunch break because of emergencies so having a place that will remember my orders and have them ready when they say it will be ready is big for me plus I can fac my orders in too. Their prices are great, the place is always clean, and I love the fact that its a family owned and family operated place. Now I'm craving my sandwich! :D read more
