I decided to visit during a weekend on a whim. The restaurant is located in a small strip plaza with a salon and liquor store. The woman behind the counter was singing and welcomed me with a refreshing disposition. I ordered the Beef gimbap, Spicy Pork gimbap, Half and Half Boneless Chicken, and the pre-made kimchi that was in the fridge. The order of chicken came with fries and extra sauce on the side. There was more batter than meat, fried to a light crisp. The fries were a bit underwhelming as they were soggy and under-seasoned, though understandably so as a vessel for the sauces. The gimbap were delicious with a good ratio from rice to ingredients. Some of the pieces did fall apart when I picked them up, though. The disappointment of the meal was the kimchi. It tasted a bit spoiled as opposed to the sourness that comes from the fermentation process. Definitely don't regret supporting small, family-owned businesses. Really hoping the foot traffic increases soon for them as they seem to be really trying.

This place gets an automatic 5 stars for making the kimbap MADE TO ORDER!l an hour before closing on a holiday!! They made my double shift so much better! This is a really cute place and I'm sure it's filled in the day time. It has to be! Mama taking the order is very friendly, she knew I knew exactly what I wanted. The kimbap does NOT disappoint! Flavorful, fresh, spicy...immaculate. The spicy pork leaves a lingering heat without being offensive and the tuna is seasoned and flavored so well. All the veggies are fresh, and have a perfect bite! The texture is amazing. By far my top 2 kimbap I've eaten this year! It looks like this establishment is fairly new, and if I wasn't on my lunch break I would've ordered more. Please give this business the foot traffic they deserve in 2024! You won't be disappointed.

My wife craved korean kimbop today and she found a new Korean restaurant near our neighborhood. We noticed the restaurant was newly opened a week ago. They have korean popular snacks such as kimbop, sundae, feast noodles, fried chicken,ddokbokki, and side dishes. Ambiance: bright, open concept. Almost homey vibe. Service: 5 stars, friendly Price: $7 basic kimbop to $25 chicken set Quality: 5 stars, fresh cooked Side dishes: they sell separately. I didn't buy any today. But they have traditional korean pickles, seasoned veggies. We got the Tuna kimbop, fish cake kimbop, and Sundae. Everybody talked about their Tuna kimbop and I know why.... I give 5 stars. Just perfect one bite sized, pretty tasty, and fresh. For Sundae (korean sausage), so chewy, flavorful, better w dipping w either shrimp sauce, or salt, chili mixture. We both give 5 perfect stars for Sundae. We will definitely come back to order the fried chicken as well as spicy chicken. We are so glad to find the decent, hidden gem in our neighborhood. Hopefully the business is running great, the quality will be consistent all the time.

this is my first time trying this restaurant and I was very pleased!! food: we ordered the spicy pork kimbap, boneless fried chicken, and fried glass noodle roll wrapped in seaweed. their prices are decent for what you're getting. the spicy pork kimbap was delicious and definitely had a little kick when it comes to the spicy. the boneless fried chicken portions were huge and it even comes with a side of seasoned fries which I wasn't expecting. everything came out rather quickly and it was all really delicious. service: the service was amazing! it looks to be a family oriented place and they really strive to give you the best ambiance: there's plenty of indoor seating inside the restaurant. there was one other party when we went and it's a really cozy place.

I finally tried ddokbboki and Korean feast noodles. I expected a lot for ddokbboki. I ordered feast noodle kimbop combo. The recipe for ddokbboki was quite different, more spicy and lots of watery broth than usual ddokbboki I had all the time. Here I think the restaurant is focused on a variety of kimbops. Feast noodles called Janchi noodles in Korea, were good w anchovy broth. I recommend more Tuna kimbop, Sundae (korean sausage) for the snacks or light lunch. The owner couple are so friendly. Good place to dine in or take out some side dishes or kimbops.

The kimbap here is so yummy. Just found out this in my neighborhood is so convenience for us.

My friend & I came here & ordered tuna & spicy squid kimbap- it was so good! Freshly made & you can't beat the price. Portion was a decent size too. Enough to satisfy your craving. The lady that rung us up was also very sweet. The place is sort of hidden in this tiny plaza besides a Korean church. Definitely give this place a visit if you're craving freshly made kimbap! This really hidden small place will my savior for side dishes and food for dinner for this working mom. The banchan(side dishes) taste great with very reasonably prices(cheaper than the ones from market). My daughter had gimbop and gye-jang(marinated raw crab) and her eyes just went ROUND! This place got 10 outta 10 from my teenager. We will try their chicken and ddeukbokki as well soon. The owner used to be a hotel chef! That does it! And the lady at the counter was very friendly. I came here the second time to buy some side dishes. The owners were still very friendly and kind. I bought kimchi, fish cake, corn salad, and glass noodle (japchae) and they were all affordable and in good amount. The chef inside also recommended me the beef cream soup. So I decided to give it a try. I tasted at home and I had to immediately took my bread out, because it was sooooooooo delicious! I had never tasted like this good soup in my whole life! I was in the mood for Korean yesterday but didn't want a full, large meal so I decided to try this place that I found on Yelp. It did not disappoint! The fishcake kimbap was so fresh and yummy. I was also excited to see they sell kimchi and some banchan in containers so it saved me a trip to the Korean supermarket. Great prices, friendly service and easy parking as well. I ordered the spicy pork and fish cake Kimbap, I also picked up a side of Kimchi while I was there. Everything was so fresh and so quick. Service was friendly as well. The woman who helped me apologized for the wait but the wait was not at all long, especially since rolls were made to order. My buddy and I came here to grab some takeout for lunch and were so happy with the quality of food and the service they provided. Gimbap was on point and all of the sides in the fridges like kimchi or fish cake were so good with the meal. The interior is clean and tidy. Looking to pick up a quick lunch near my office and found this new Korean restaurant! What a great find! Lots of banchan side dishes made by the chef available in the fridge. The Kimbap was very good at a reasonable price. Will order ahead for the fried chicken next time since it takes some time. The spicy pork kimbap is my favorite! The owners are very friendly. I highly recommend getting the side dishes in the fridge. You can eat them with the food made there and save it in the fridge for any of your dishes for later! They are so much more cheaper in price compared to the Korean grocery markets. read more

Have been to this restaurant on three different occasions and the food and service is never disappointing. From the moment you walk in, the owner welcomes you in with a smile. The kimbap is the best I have ever tasted! Most places fill it with rice, but not the kimbap here. It has a small layer of rice and the rest is filled with all the other good stuff (tuna, meat, fish cake, etc). read more

This is a great place to get Kimbop to go. We have tried the beef, spicy anchovy, and tuna. They were all excellent!. They are made fresh when you order them them. We also got the side banchans of kimchee and veggies. They are also very tasty. They also are open on Sundays and open early so you can order before going on a road trip. read more

But it's clear some serious kitchen training -- and maybe a menu reevaluation -- is in order. Let's start with the spice levels. You used to offer a good range, with the infamous "Wing Ferno" heat reserved for those who truly wanted to test their limits. Somewhere along the way, though, you axed the regular spicy and a few other mid-range options, leaving only mild, medium, and Wing Ferno. No warning, no clarification. When we called to place an order, the staff casually said "spicy," which we assumed meant something tolerable -- not a fire-breathing, stomach-churning sandwich . And we can usually handle our spice -- we're Korean. But this? This had us both violently ill for days with stomach issues. (Sorry for the TMI, but that's the truth.) We chalked it up to a miscommunication and decided to give it another shot. This time, we explicitly asked for medium heat to avoid the inferno. And yet, one of our sandwiches showed up missing half a bun. How does that even happen? We really hoped to add Wing Ferno as one of our go-to spots, but after two back-to-back disappointing (and stomach-wrecking) experiences, we're going to have to take a long break -- if not call it quits altogether. I recently discovered Sandeulhae while looking for quick local lunch areas, and it's already my favorite spot for great Korean food. Today, I ordered the burdock gimbap and fishcake gimbap to go. The flavors were incredible, and what really stood out was how affordable they were. It's even cheaper than getting similar items at H Mart, and the gimbap is made to order, so it's super fresh. As a delightful surprise, I also ordered some French fries, which were impressively warm and crispy. I had a quick chat with the person at the front counter, and they mentioned that the place had only opened three days ago. Despite being new, it had a small and homey feel, which added to the charm of the whole experience. I can't wait to return and try more from their menu! read more

The sign outside says "any two rolls," yet apparently there are exclusions that aren't disclosed. Since the no-rice rolls are in the same price range as the specialty rolls, I asked why they were excluded. The owner didn't offer any explanation--she simply said no, then walked away from the register and back into the kitchen. I found that interaction disrespectful and a clear indication that they weren't interested in earning my business. Customer service matters, and this experience left a very negative impression. I recommend choosing one of the many other restaurants in the area that value friendly, transparent service. Advertising a promotion as applying to "any" rolls while excluding certain items without clearly stating that feels misleading.
