I'm torn deciding on my experience with this location but since I'm constantly getting hounded through emails to leave my feedback we'll here it goes. On one hand the technician did a great job in repairing my truck and no issues there so far. But on the other hand the communication between Ford and customers in my opinion is non existent. For example you guys had my truck for a week and with in that week I didn't get any updates on wether or not it was repairable and if you guys even had the time to repair it as far as I knew my truck could've been sitting in the parking lot collecting dust. So I decided to reach out on a Wednesday of the the following week and I was very surprised and upset that I didn't hear from Jordan until Friday afternoon to me that's not great customer service. I was understanding that it was the holidays but a five minute phone call would've been nice. And I knew It was going to be a wait but I feel like in order for me to give a 5star review the level of communication would have to increase dramatically Plain and simple just let us know what's going on I think that if you keep customers in the loop on what's going on I feel like customers would be more understanding if the job takes longer then expected. But I was left in the dark until I finally decided to just take it to another mechanic shop but once I got to that level I was told that it was almost complete. Funny how that works. The other issue I had that I've experienced in other Ford location and not at Sanderson Ford Is that when I received my vehicle back usually someone explains to me the work that they did and explain anything I need to know or they offer to take me home in a shuttle. No worries I took an Uber. I'm possibly being picky but truth in the matter is I've only owned Fords so I've only been inside Ford dealerships for all my repair needs and this location in my opinion is failing compared to others. read more

I took my car (C-max Energy) for service because there was a bad smell in the cabin, and smells just like butane gas. So Sanderson's service department told me that was a leak coming from the 12-volt battery. So I asked how much, the serviceman said around 600.00. I almost drop backward... 600.00 dollars for a 12-volt battery? For a second I thought he was talking about the battery cell that moves the car. So I told him to put a new one because according to him, there was no repairing it. Ok, so couple days later, the same smell inside the cabin again. I call Ford corporation, and they told me not to drive, because it could explode and kill all occupants. So I called Sanderson service guy again, and he told me to bring it back, and it will cost me 70.00 bucks for them to check. Now, to check the installation that they did, I had to pay again. So I took it to another dealership, for the second opinion, and the service department of that dealership, told me it was installed wrong, that is why it has a smell, and it was not sealed properly. The bottom line, it cost me another 45.00 dollars to have it installed the right way, and I have not had any problems with it again since. Sanderson Ford customer service is horrible, service department, and their repair mechanics don't know the difference and the distance from their elbows to their a...hole. read more

On time, honest, straight forward, funny, kept us up to date on EVERYTHING! It took forever for our explorer to be built but he kept us notified every single step of the way whether it be myself or my husband needing specifics. The purchasing was top notch! Every step went by flawless. Barrett was wonderful to work with when we signed all our papers. Seriously what a dream team! We had both our kids with us and I can't explain how great they make you feel as a family! I never had a an experience this bad in my entire life! I have owned around 20 cars in my lifetime and I have been to many different dealership and this by far is the worst experience. My name is Rafi and I bought my work vehicle from there and if I knew the service was this bad I would have never purchased from them! I would put this dealer 5 negative stars if it was possible. I had an appointment with the service advisor Kevin and he just sat on his phone and started at me. This is the worst greeted experience in my whole life. I usually go to the dealer and they greet me. I was the only person there and it was empty! I had to go to Earnhardt Ford all the way in Litchfield. I live in Litchfield but I wanted service my vehicle where I bought it from and I had to make another trip to another dealer to get my oil change. Went with daughter to purchase a new F150. Incredibly easy and non-stressful experience. This was one of the few dealers with some inventory of 4X4 Lariats. While most dealers in the area are adding a mark-up over the sticker price, Sanderson wasn't doing that. They weren't negotiating but that's probably what made it so easy. Our salesman, Christian, was efficient and helpful with the whole process. The extended warranties and maintenance plans were well explained but we felt no pressure to purchase them. I discovered them about 8 years ago and bought from Mike Gilbert, who went out of his way to find the exact truck I wanted, and gave me more than expected on my trade! I recently needed to upgrade my truck to a one ton. I researched for months to find exactly what I wanted. They are harder to find than you would expect. I found a sweet 2013 F-350 Lariat dually. Super low miles. It was cleaner than my 3 year old truck. I worked with Ron Lee and he made me feel comfortable with every point in the sale and trade-in process. No shady dealings. No getting my keys and holding me hostage. No lies and deceit. No pressuring. No advertising a price online only to find out it is jacked up when you get to the dealership. No bait and switch tactics. I honestly hate working with auto dealerships. This was a breeze. At one point he even sent me next door for a free lunch while they continued through the processing instead of having me just sit and wait. They even sent someone around to my house the next day to pick up the extra set of keys I had forgotten to turn over. Yesterday was told that if I made it to the dealership prior to closing that I could get my 2017 battery replaced. I got there and was told that their technicians leave at 5:00 yet service closes at 6:00. No big deal and kind of understandable. I asked to make an appointment and was given a card to call (although I'm standing right there.) I called the number and they were closed. Made an appointment online that night just so the next morning I'm told no appointment in system.*sigh* They made me an appointment for 8:45. I was paired with Luke who seems to be friendly but I was told 2.5 hours wait time. I opted to take the shuttle home. No call after 3 hours so I call and NO ONE was free to take my call to give me an update. Luke called another 30-55 minutes later just to tell me that it's not even being worked on and it will be another 1.5 to get into service and "hopefully we can get it done today." IT'S A BATTERY and I had an appointment AND was told 2.5 hours... Wonder had I stayed if I'd have it back by now? Wonder if I weren't under warranty and they'd be getting money from me if I'd have it back by now? I'm 2 minutes away but I'll travel to the Surprise Ford before I'll go here again rather under warranty or not... stranded or not. I'll update once I get it back. Google review and Yelp is next.... Maybe corporate depending on when I get it back for a simple (although harder to get it) battery job. UPDATE: I JUST GOT MY VEHICLE BACK AT AROUND 5:15 P.M.!!!! Conveniently LUKE WROTE MY PHONE NUMBER WRONG AND THE SHUTTLE COULD NOT FIND ME... So I have been to Sanderson quite a few times and never had an issue... until yesterday. I brought a battery in that was still within the 100 month pro-rate (38 moths). I couldn't drive the car because the battery was dead..hence me getting a new one. I was told it is company policy that I have the vehicle present??? How am I supposed to drive a car with a dead battery? So..whatever I went over to parts because quick lane..is no longer quick. This was strange because most places have a policy in place that all people must have masks, which I get. Two employees in the facility who are customer facing didn't have one even remotely close to them which tells me they just don't wear one at all. Yet, there is a sign right next to the computer that says please keep 6ft distance from the rep. OK that's fine but clearly he doesn't care enough to wear a mask. The rep I dealt with didn't even have a name-tag on. The whole situation is just odd for a company that boasts about Sundays off because of family, friends and faith. I won't be returning to this place. The mask deal was secondary, the battery issue was a deal breaker. I wouldn't recommend anyone dealing with this place. This review is for the service department. I purchased a supercharger for my 2003 Ford GT Mustang. The manager estimated a 1-week turnaround. Two weeks later, I called for an update. There were missing parts that had to be reordered. A week after that, I called for an update. They were having tuning issues. Once the car was returned to me over 6-weeks later, I realize the traction button was turned off due to hard-coding. I asked if they could give me the codes but said I had to go back to them to have it corrected. Unfortunately, Sanderson is almost 65 miles away from where I live. I'm not complaining about the turnaround time. I'm complaining about the poor communication and the quality of the work. I should have waited till San Tan Ford added their SVT department. read more

Went in to get some Recalls done, Mike P took good care of me & my car. He was very professional and kept me updated on everything that was being done to my car. Even let me know my air filter needed to be changed but didnt continue until i authorize along with the payment, which I extremely appreciate it. He recommended ways to help save me money, like going online to get a coupon from Ford and finding ways to maximize the rebates. Way more than you'd get from your typical salesman. He's actually in the commercial fleet department, so I was lucky to get to work with him on a private sale, but he can said he's happy to work with anyone. I purchased my 2007 Lincoln Town Car Designer here in January 2007. That was a great experience. In 2008, the fuel sender needed replacement. They installed it wrong as the Full needle was 180 degrees off. I found this out right after the car was serviced while at a local gas station--the needle indicated EMPTY after I added 15 gallons of fuel. As I drove the needle slowly moved towards full depending upon how far I drove. I had to bring it back for them to correct this once the actual fuel level was guessed to be 5 gallons remaining. In October 2013, The Driver's Door Module failed and a dealer had to repair it as it needed a factory computer download for my vehicle. I knew what it was and made a call for service. The service writer---correct term--told me my car didn't have a DDM. He went on to explain how a Lincoln operated. However, he end up describing how a 44 year old Lincoln worked in great detail! I was impressed that he was living and working 44 years in the past! OMG they will not be working on my car since this was their second strike out. FYI--my car has approximately 10 modules that control other functions. In December 2013, I sold my 2007 TC and wanted to purchase a new 2014 Navigator. I told them exactly what I wanted--two rows of bucket seat with consoles. They emailed information on vehicles with second row bench seats. Over one week latter they called me to see if I liked the vehicles they emailed me. The funny thing was, minutes before their call I purchased what I wanted at a different dealer. My opinion: Sanderson might be a great place to purchase a new vehicle IF they have what you need. As for service, NO WAY as the service writers, I was exposed to, do not understand the operation of the vehicles that the dealership sells. read more

I bought a Mustang this week from Sanderson and it was, by far, the best car-buying experience I've ever had - and I buy a LOT of cars! Dealing with Sanderson was a slight trip back in time - in a good way - to doing business on a handshake and with a smile. They don't tack a bunch of overpriced worthless junk (nitrogen, etching, etc, etc) onto their cars to pad their bottom line and they were straightforward, transparent and, dare I say, pleasant! Ray was a great salesman and Robert Sisk, the sales manager, was fair and nice. I didn't even have to roll my eyes once. There was none of the typical dealer theatrics. They were incredibly accommodating and fixed a minor imperfection with the car faster and more eagerly than I had expected. read more

March 28 I called their service department and explained to him the the Bluetooth in my car was not working correctly I also told the service writer that I have purchased this car about a week and a half ago I'm currently trying to establish a town car service here in Phoenix and I need my equipment to work to the best of its ability the service writer suggested that I look through my owners manual and do a master reset and if I still had problems after that to bring the car in on Monday I was very surprised that she didn't ask me to bring the car in to do the master reset or offer to have it checked out good customer service is very important to me I provided to my customers everyday. eventually I will be growing my business and whatever dealership gives me the customer service with car. Update: spoke with the manager of this store and he claims that when this recall first occurred they were directed by ford corporate to only replace doors that had broken due to a lack of parts available. I understand this was not Sandersons fault but this fact was never communicated to us at the time of the repair. This would have cleared up a lot of confusion and frustration. It's disappointing that ford did not immediately see the danger and have enough parts on hand to fully fix the issue. read more

This body shop is open Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 and open Sat--but they don't do any work on Sat. I took my car there on a Sat--because they were actually open on a Sat--but they gave me generalities, for very simple bumper repair--and no quote. Asking why they were open on Saturdays, if no work was performed, the guy said on the phone (this was my 2nd call, one before and after the Sat in-person visit to look at my bumper to see what it needed ). They guy on the phone--in the body shop--said "because the front office makes us.". And today in asking about a loaner or rental car availability so I could drop car and get serviced at same time, go to work, and come back after work--here's the email: I sure wish dealers got a new business model. Why don't they just shut down for the summer? Yes we can all come in Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30--because we have to if we want service. They close at lunchtime weekdays too, so I couldn't even do it on my lunch and take a slightly longer lunch. Yes, all for the guys--they have lunch coming for sure. I already came in on a Saturday once to look at my car and tell me what it took to repair. No loan. Every person different I talk to, plus I have to explain to each person who answers what I need. I wish I could say this isn't typical in this industry, but it is. I have purchased many vehicles in 60 years. The valley has many dealerships so save yourself some agony and avoid this one! I contacted the internet sales dept and immediately and often I was contacted by Jim Sommer, the internet MGR. Despite my reservations for financing and fear of credit score going down from inquiry, he assured me there were '40-50' financial institutions they work with and assured me financing would happen. He finally contacted me 2 days later in response to my 2nd email, stating he found ONE with huge down pmt. I expressed displeasure and asked him to keep looking. After 3 days and several emails to him, I never heard from him again! Guess he wanted an 'easy sale' not having to actually 'work' for his commission!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced!
