Came here for Spring Restaurant Week 2025 to celebrate a birthday. The main dining room has real high ceilings, wooden tables with placemats, linen, and plate setting with wine glasses. It was comfy that you felt like its a living room. Our server was funny, diligent, checked in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The food service was prompt, good portion size and food was at the perfect temperature (not extremely hot nor lukewarm) for each dish. We ordered: Appetizer: Chickpea Fries Duck Tacos Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Entree: Grilled Faroe Island Salmon Soy Glazed Cod Short Rib of Beef Dessert: Ricotta Donuts Tahiti Vanilla Crème Brûlée Everything was delicious. Afterwards, we were enjoying the wine and beverages after our meal. Go check them out.

This place is really good. I'm not sure dinner for 3 was worth all of $190, but that was due only to a bit of what we ordered. With no reservation, we were only able to sit at a "high top" table adjacent to the bar, which wasn't a problem. The a/c was appreciated! The server quickly took our drink order and soon returned for the food order. She was really good: honest about her opinion about certain dishes, and she could anticipate what I might like more on the menu based on my preferences. She took the order without writing anything down, and got everything correct. One thing that I took note of was I mentioned that my wife and I were going to split the Sandbar Salad. It was served on two separate plates, both with a splendid presentation as if each plate were made as its own portion. The Sandbar Salad had a nice, delicate dressing, and was served with a piece of warmed goat cheese on bread. Nice touch. I prefer a stronger dressing like a vinaigrette, but it was all very fresh and nicely presented. At the same time, my kid got a spicy tuna appetizer that we all liked. We also got a Mushroom Truffle Pizza with arugula appetizer that was very good. Check my photos. We did wait a pretty long time for the main course to be served, but we were surrounded by like 4 TVs, some entertaining personalities sitting at the bar, and decent music they were playing there. The ambience is very nice. For the mains, the wife got Fish Tacos (Mahi Mahi)... she wasn't crazy about it, so I tried one, and just one bite was all I could take because it tasted "fishy" to me. Maybe we're not built for Mahi Mahi. It needed some salt baaaadly. It was one of the most unlikable fish tacos I've tried. I got a warm Lobster Roll. We had so much food already, that I just ate the lobster and left most of the bread roll, but mostly because it was almost sopping wet with melted butter. Don't get me wrong, I liked it. Both of these dishes were served with fries, which were pretty good. My kid's Soy Cod though...that was great. The green rice thing was odd, but not bad, just not very tasty. But she was really happy with the dish. Kudos for the clean and well stocked bathrooms. Great location on this charming little strip. Ample parking. Excellent service.

My wife and son and I visited Sandbar in Cold Springs Harbor for a late lunch early dinner yesterday. I ordered the fish and chips, my wife ordered the heirloom tomato soup, and the fish tacos. My son ordered the frutti di mare that included shrimp muscles clams in a tomato based broth with pasta. For dessert, we had the ricotta doughnuts. First, the wait staff was exceptional. They offered suggestions and gave me good advice on dietary restrictions. Though at times we felt a bit rushed, it was that fine balance between attentiveness and intrusiveness. They certainly were on the attentiveness balance. My fish and chips were very different than most presentations I've had in the past. The batter was extremely delicate light, but crispy. No oil residue at all and extremely flavorful. The fish was perfectly cooked and fresh. They used cod, that was perfect for how the protein was presented. French fries were thick cut, tender in the middle with a beautiful fry crust. Exquisitely seasoned. For my wife, the tomato soup was creamy succulent and flavorful. Her marinated mahi-mahi fish tacos were stunningly presented, excellently cooked, crunchy and well seasoned. My sons, fruit de mare was perfectly presented, almost artistically stunning, and flavorful, well seasoned, with an al dente pasta expertly cooked. Though I could not have the ricotta donuts because of food allergy my wife and son said they were crunchy tender, not greasy and had dipping sauces of chocolate and raspberry on the side. They disappeared in under five minutes. To summarize, it was a wonderful atmosphere, stunning presentation of food, well cooked, and expertly executed meals I would come back here in a minute. Compliments to the chef on their artistic and culinary skill

Our noses literally led us to this place- the most delicious, buttery garlicky- divine smells mess us here. Super sleek and chic spot in the cutest area- beautiful nautical restaurant that was so inviting but also mysterious- we were not sure if this place was open or a even a restaurant until we stepped inside- absolutely lovely. We chose to sit in the bar area- wonderful service- lovely menu- We went in search of some clam chowder but they didn't have any that day- we ordered perfect choice- White wine, French fries and the spinach artichoke dip- a little snicky snack that hit the spot. Oh yah! Incredibly clean restrooms upstairs and downstairs- so private and had a luxurious feel. The food was so succulent- oysters so fresh and silky. The artichoke dip was the exact smell that hypnotized us and brought us in- so good. Great visit.

We came back a second time, we had Riley as our server & she was awesome! the braised short ribs was just as phenomenal and tasty as the last time we had it. I didn't really enjoy the filet mignon. The grilled octopus salad is inconsistent, last time I got the full octopus leg, and this time I got some small pieces cut up in my salad. Their desserts are also impressive and unique. We ordered the Tahitian creme brûlée & the blueberry tres leches (this has walnuts in it, so be aware if you're allergic!). I liked their passionfruit mocktail. Their lobster roll was also fantastic! We ordered grilled asparagus on the side, and 2 of them were burnt.

The overall ambiance is classy. Although we sat in a private dinning area, I had an opportunity to view their main dinning area, and it looked great with white linen service. Immediately as you walk in there is a full bar area with a number of high bar chairs, where you are also able to dine. Since this was a private party, we had a fixed menu however all participants were pleased with their meals. Personally, I tried the glazed salmon which was perfectly prepared. Overall, Service was great and the staff were very attentive. Second visit here and would return again.

Very nice atmosphere, we came here on New Year's Day around 3:30 and seated right away! We ordered the tuna crispy rice, half Wagyu pasta bolognese, salmon dish, and the sandbar chicken. Everything we had was delicious, would highly recommend the tuna crispy rice, and the Wagyu pasta Bolognese. We were surprisingly a bit full after the pasta, the half portion was very filling and shareable for two and for light eaters you could probably have this as a meal. The milk and cookies was also delicious and completely shareable! Would highly recommend and we will be back.

Sandbar was great! We went on a saturday night, not too crowded. We got the appetizer special Mussels with spicy red sauce- I will be thinking about this for a very long time it was probably the best bowl of mussels i've had on Long Island. Also got the margherita pizza which was nice and thin. I got the appetizer size frutti di mare for my entrée, absolutely delicious! My fiance got the chicken and he said that was delicious as well. We drove 45 minutes and we will definitely be back because theres so much more I want to try! Dessert was the blueberry tres leches- the blueberry icecream is made in house and soooooo freaking good!

Sandbar is reminiscent of so many beautiful seaside venues. The interior design does match the restaurant's namesake and it was pleasant to the eye. Even the bar area looked inviting. I could see myself stopping by to watch a game. As for the food, my friend and I shared the mussels to start. Go ahead and dip some bread into the sauce of the dish. It'll change your life. We had the chickpea fries as well but I wasn't a fan of those. Our main dishes included the Pappardelle Bolognese and the Branzino. Both seemed expertly crafted. I have no complaints there. They seem to have a solid wine collection so don't worry about finding the right libation to add to your dinner. There were some slight service glitches and some of the staff seemed less than warm, but that could've been a fluke or my perception. Don't let that deter you. I would come back for sure!

Sandbar has a nice interior with a cozy vibe. We enjoyed our dinner. We tried the crab cakes, mushroom flatbread, and salmon. The crab cakes were good, but not the best ever. The mushroom flatbread was delicious. The salmon was also very good. It was cooked perfectly. The service was also good. Overall, I'd recommend Sandbar.

I went here for a lunch after an event and it was great. We were a larger group, so we were lucky enough to have the back room all to ourselves. The server was super friendly and was very quick with taking our drink and food orders. We had a personalized menu - I had the spicy tuna crispy rice, the steak sandwich and the apple crumble. The portion sizes are large so you definitely won't leave hungry. Everything was delicious!

I drove around for a bit and found a spot across the street from The Shed, so I popped in for dinner. Service is excellent and the menu is extensive. Love that they serve breakfast all day (and some of the choices look insanely good). Plenty of healthy options as well, so I stuck to a warm grain bowl with veggies and grilled chicken. Absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients. It was VERY busy and my only complaint was the guy sitting at the table next to me. He was wicked annoying since all he did was complain about everything (like how much he hates Christmas music, how he couldn't tell if someone that walked in was a man or a woman, a constant commentary on everyone's food -including his own- and an exclamation on how I paid my bill with my phone (but i actually used my watch, dude). Anyway, this place is great. I think there's more than one location and if my little salad and iced tea (which was refilled without even asking) are any indication of how the rest of the menu is, I'd highly recommend checking it out.

I had something called the "Smash Bros," which has bourbon, grapefruit, orange, lemon, and mint, garnished with mint leaves and an orange slice. Very tasty! The banana bread pudding wasn't bad at all, but I have to say I didn't really taste the bananas -- I tasted the chocolate chips more than anything. There were toddlers and preschoolers in the restaurant with their families, so I asked the waitress to please change the channel. I explained that there were graphic photos of people and crime scenes that aren't suitable for children, or really anyone else trying to enjoy their meal. That issue non-withstanding, I still don't think Over Easy is worth choosing over Hatch or Munday's. The wait for us was 20 minutes, which is the same for pretty much every other place in Huntington. It's also very small, so as a result the tables are extremely close together. We were seated in the middle of the floor, with waitstaff passing through very frequently on both sides. We had to constantly tuck ourselves in and watch our backs to avoid getting an elbow in the face. Our food tasted alright, but there were several issues. We both got variations of eggs benedict. I got the avocado BLT benedict, with avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon, and hollandaise on top of ciabatta. It tastes good, and I especially liked how orange and healthy the poached egg yolk was. However the ciabatta was pretty badly burnt. My boyfriend got the "classic" eggs benedict, which was served over toasted sourdough bread. This bread was ridiculous, over an inch thick and impossible to cut through without shaking the table and making a crummy mess. I would've thought the classic eggs benedict would be eggs with Canadian bacon over an English muffin; this one was just not the best.
