The pear salad tomato was tasty, fresh and delicious as ever My duck entree, a hard to find favorite was delicious, and the grilled Monkfish was a best ever!!! Afogato for dessert, and a salted caramel gelato with two black coffees topped it off for a perfect meal. We always look forward to returning! And I almost forgot to mention the relaxing live entertainment on the piano!!

The 3-course prix fixe ($42) included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert -- such a great deal. I started with the butternut squash soup, which was creamy, flavorful, and the perfect start before my entrée. My husband had the oysters with pesto and really enjoyed them. For our main course, we both ordered the branzino, which was cooked to perfection and served with white rice and vegetables -- light, fresh, and full of flavor. Our friends ordered the braised ribs and cod, and they couldn't stop raving about their dishes either. To top it off, the service was excellent -- our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. They also had live music (which they usually do on Thursday nights), and the band was fantastic! It added such a nice vibe to the night and complemented the great food and atmosphere. We highly recommend Grasso's and will definitely be coming back!

I drove around for a bit and found a spot across the street from The Shed, so I popped in for dinner. Service is excellent and the menu is extensive. Love that they serve breakfast all day (and some of the choices look insanely good). Plenty of healthy options as well, so I stuck to a warm grain bowl with veggies and grilled chicken. Absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients. It was VERY busy and my only complaint was the guy sitting at the table next to me. He was wicked annoying since all he did was complain about everything (like how much he hates Christmas music, how he couldn't tell if someone that walked in was a man or a woman, a constant commentary on everyone's food -including his own- and an exclamation on how I paid my bill with my phone (but i actually used my watch, dude). Anyway, this place is great. I think there's more than one location and if my little salad and iced tea (which was refilled without even asking) are any indication of how the rest of the menu is, I'd highly recommend checking it out.

They recently refurbished it, with a new granite bar top, plusher seats and a much bigger menu. These changes all get a big thumbs up! Recently this establishment has gotten even better with an improved decor, (they have brought over tables, chairs and other items from the recently closed Red Restaurant), adding a level of sophistication and charm. They have also improved the bar area as well. The menu now is larger and offers some of our favorites, and soon to be yours, from once sister restaurants Red and Osteria da Nino. All the food is outstanding as is the friendly attentive service of the servers. Today Monica and Kelly served us lunch and suggested the fried cheddar cheese curds to accompany our beers, a terrific choice- these are an adult version of fried cheese sticks. We had mentioned that we wanted to share both a Wedge Salad and a Philly cheese steak sandwich, to our surprise both came out thoughtfully divided equally to share making the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you are looking for a quick bit at the bar or a sit down meal this is a perfect choice.

From the moment you arrive, you can tell this is not just a farm stand -- it's a Long Island institution with heart, history, and soul. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, especially compared to the rush of everyday life. Whether you come on a quiet weekday or a busy weekend, there's something comforting about walking through the grounds, seeing families, kids, couples, and longtime locals all enjoying the space. It feels wholesome in the best possible way. The produce and baked goods are where Kerber's truly shines. Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and seasonal. Their fruits and vegetables are vibrant and full of flavor, and the baked goods smell incredible the moment you walk inside. The pies are legendary for a reason -- flaky crusts, generous fillings, and that homemade taste that's hard to find these days. Apple pie, crumb pie, pumpkin pie -- you really can't go wrong. Their donuts and breads are also standouts, perfect with a cup of coffee. Speaking of food, the prepared items and snacks are another highlight. Whether it's sandwiches, cider, or small treats, everything feels made with care rather than mass-produced. It's the kind of place where you end up buying more than you planned because everything looks (and tastes) so good. What makes Kerber's Farm especially special is the experience, not just the products. Kids love seeing the animals, parents appreciate the open space, and everyone seems to slow down just a little while they're there. It's a wonderful spot for a family outing, a relaxed afternoon stop, or even just a quick visit that turns into a longer stay because you don't want to leave. The staff has always been friendly and helpful in my experience. Even when it's busy, they remain patient and welcoming, which adds to the overall charm of the place. You can tell people take pride in working there. Kerber's Farm isn't trying to be flashy or overly modern -- and that's exactly why it works. It's authentic, comforting, and deeply rooted in the community. Whether you're coming for fresh produce, famous pies, or just a peaceful break from the day, Kerber's delivers every single time. If you're on Long Island and haven't been yet, this place is absolutely worth the visit. And if you have been before, you already know -- Kerber's Farm is the kind of place you keep coming back to. While I don't always expect an overly cheerful greeting, the service was very plain and lacked a smile. Even when I mentioned it was my first time, the staff seemed indifferent. I ordered an egg and cheddar cheese biscuit and a small coffee with sugar-free French vanilla and almond milk, which came to $15. I also picked up two mini pies for $14. The breakfast sandwich was okay, but for the price, I expected more cheese and a bit more flavor. However, the mini pastries were absolutely delicious! I would 100% come back just for those. The store itself was very clean.
