Still serves breakfast for dinner, but it tastes better now that it is not constrained to IHOP recipes. Additional plus is that Sammy's serves beer. Our server was friendly and helpful, but otherwise not worth going out of your way for. I had the lingonberry crepes, which were merely OK; I think the batter may have been overstirred. My husband said the Belgian waffle was bland and dry, and his bacon was undercooked. read more

Everything looked good. Except the soup. We ordered the clam chowder. Tasteless with zero flavor. We asked to change to chicken noodle,. Bad also. Tasted like liptop soup. Noodles were hard and chicken chunks from who knows where. Total for two soups. Little under $12. Sad cause i liked the country fried steak and waffles. I Had Breakfast here the other day with some friends and it was our first time here. Our waitress name was Lily. Most places we go to is always so fast paced and the girls always for get its we order or even doesn't even bother to come back and check our table. The hubby had the egg, sausage, bacon, ham platter which came with choice of toast or pancakes. Again generous portion. I think this place used to be an IHOP but thank goodness it has changed to this little spot. So yummy! I went with the cheesecake pancakes and eggs benedict. Very tasty, filling and faily inexpensive. I saved 20% because of the yelp saving. The seating in the back is pretty loud but smaller compared to the front large seating. The waitress was not always checking in on our table but still managed to get our order right and that's a huge plus! A Gem total Gem! Breakfast is an art here. The traditional Big Breakfast is the best.

Absolutely the poorest quality chicken and waffles I've ever had. The chicken was way too battered and very little meat on any of the pieces. If you've ever made your own free waffles at a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express, these were below that quality level, soggy and flavorless. This has been my favorite go to breakfast place, after having several bad experience with Ihop on 17 street i decided to try this place out. One because it is down the street from my house, two the customer service is OUTSTANDING, and three the food is delicious. I have tried the pancakes, waffles, french toast, crepes, club sandwich, and huevo rancheros. All are amazing and mouth watering.
