Food is great however bald guy upfront is rude no customer service skills. The girl in the mornings is much nicer!

What a bummer. After 7 years in this area, finally made the decision to try this place. 5pm on a Saturday, we were the only customers. The Place was clean, minus a few little things here and there. The environment was ok, nothing to write home about. Employees were relaxing in the lobby watching John Wick. Gentleman in the black shirt was vaping at the table there. I had a double bacon burger. If you said the burgers are juicy here, I would challenge if you have ever had a juicy burger. It was dang near well done and likely frozen patties. It was truly a basic burger, no real flavor. It was not bad, just no better than a jack in the box burger. Bread was soft, I'll say that. My wife had chicken tenders. Bland and small. The fries were ok, didn't seem overly fresh. If they are slow, I can see why. I can comfirm, their soda machine is likely dirty. Our soda tasted like old stale dish water or something. Had to go to QT after to get something decent to drink. 2 meals ran $34. It was a very middle of the road place. No effort. Food quality is MEH at best. So sad, with all the new growth around here, they could have stood out amongst the chain fast food burger joints. We wouldn't bother returning.

It was very unclean First thing I noticed is outside. There's a lot of trash on the ground in the parking lot, and when I walked in that air conditioning was barely running, and it was stuffy inside. Nothing seems to be very clean. I couldn't tell you when they last mopped. The tables and chairs all seem to be covered in grime. First thing I asked was if they could tell me if the burger buns had dairy in them, I was told " oh no, we don't make the buns here". I said I understand but If they could just check the label because I'm allergic and need to know if I could eat it. I was told "no". No care whatsoever. In most cases, I would've just turned and walked out because there should be no reason why a restaurant wouldn't have a label on food they are selling to the public, but my husband saw a chicken sandwich and wanted to order. The soda machine has actual sludge coming down the side of it doesn't look like it's been wiped in months or maybe years. The ice machine doesn't work so there's a separate ice machine behind the counter that they have to fill up your ice for you in a cup. It looks crazy cluttered and dirty. The cups for soda are huge, but the Dr Pepper tasted like poop and my husband dumped it out, we tried two other different sodas and they tasted like straw or plastic. I don't know if that has something to do with the soda machine never looking like it's ever been cleaned. The french fry portion is very generous and I have no complaints there, the Burger seems to be just be a very thin frozen patty. Three of us got burgers and one of us got a chicken sandwich. The bun is about 10 times as thick as the burger patty is. I got my burger, lettuce wrapped and felt that the portion of lettuce and pickles was very generous for the burger. My husband's chicken sandwich was not edible. He said it tasted like someone took a frozen slab of chicken and tossed it in the microwave, but it didn't get warmed up all the way. The ketchup bottle has so many layers of grudge on it. I am scared to see what the kitchen looks like. All in all we hope that we won't get food poisoning tonight we basically spent $53 to throw it out, and we all sprayed our hands many times with hand sanitizer when we left. The decor looks like they painted bricks on the wall. There's lots of signs with funny sayings all over the walls. There are two ceiling fans in the dining room, which provide the only airflow it seems. Our table top was clean, but there were layers of dust and grease on the sides of the table where the molding was. All in all maybe it was a cute place back in the day but seems like a public health concern now.

Slimey. Tough. Gross. We will not be back. Gross.

Sammy's burgers are really good. They used to be hand pressed now more of a circular frozen patty. Could improve that

The only thing I don't like about this location is that it's right next to the freeway with a tiny lot. This place is so popular, I feel they could have easily chose a location a few blocks down or somewhere else in Avondale with more space as we know, night or day- it feels claustrophobic to come here. But, noms nom-the-less

Once you're in, you're trapped--and you better not be in a hurry. Drive-Thru = Danger Zone Unless it's your lucky day, expect to wait 20 to 40 minutes--sometimes more. It's absolutely insane how consistently slow this location is. I've been to plenty of In-N-Outs all across Arizona, and this one is hands-down the worst for wait time. Sometimes the line starts out on the actual street, right after getting off the 10. You're literally blocking traffic just trying to get into the parking lot. It feels like drive-thru roulette, and most times you lose. Food & Service Inside? Same reliable In-N-Out experience--friendly staff, clean interior, fast turnaround. It's almost always faster to walk in and order than sit in the drive-thru forever. The food is usually done right, and I've only had two order mistakes--but one of those happened after I had already waited forever and driven 25 minutes home, only to realize it was wrong. Now I check the bag every single time before pulling away. Parking & Traffic When it's busy, just trying to get into the parking lot feels like a death wish. The entrance gets completely clogged, and people end up stuck halfway in the street, which is stressful and dangerous. Bottom Line: Food? Great. Staff? Fine. But the drive-thru is a black hole of time, and it's wild that after all these years, it's still this bad. If you're brave enough to try, I strongly suggest going inside instead--unless you brought a podcast, snacks, and the patience of a saint. Review written while sitting in drive thru- it's been 21 minutes so far and I'm not even halfway through the drive through.

The cheese isn't so thin and nonexistent it fairly evaporates into the meat. You taste it because it's good sharp cheddar or thick government cheese. The lettuce is crisp, tomatoes are meaty, and the onions are just there in their aromatic essence - I'm not going to need a breath mint to make it through this date. And, come on, how did I forget about the beef? It can't just be salt and peppered but at least slightly seasoned. Not grisly, dry and not so much meat that it blows out everything else on the bun. Oh, and the sauce. Big stars for not just being thousand island or ranch but some concoction a chef took the time to craft. And why be a scratch kitchen if you are going to slather it with mayo? I won't even order that. Because I hate mayo and I don't want to have to ask for mustard or ketchup or some kind of bottled dressing to make up for the insult of straight mayo. Enter into my life Bubba's 33. I had forgotten about that craving but my husband remembered and found this place for a Friday night date. You walk in and it is so happy. We got there in the sweet spot between super early diners and people who just got off work. I got the burger I just described. To a T. Offered in a comforting, fresh warm bun that was worthy of all it contained. And my husband immediately reached for his napkin. Served with a side of seasoned fries and I asked for ranch for dipping, because I will judge you on your ranch, too. Much respect, Bubba. You did it. As we waited, I had to use the ladies' and happened to see the kitchen on my way. Everyone seems happy to work there, like friends, and maybe that is why the service and food were both top tier. Left happy. Comforted. With a coupon for a free appetizer because the sweet host asks you if it's your first time and then a manager - or some random guy in street clothes rather than a black top like everyone else - comes over and greets you and hands you one. I need to stop writing this because it's only 8:46 am and I want a burger and I have a long day of thrifting and errands in Phoenix that precludes a journey to Bubbas. But, we'll be back! I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

The unsmiling register lady brought my food out and mumbled something about, "Sorry for the wait" Good concept and the marketing is enough to bring people in once. I just don't know if many will return for a second visit.
