So do yourself a favor and order normal fries and just get an extra side of spread because it's not worth it to lose out on the quality french fry. Order the onions EVERY WAY and you'll have three different types and put that extra cheese on there for a patty melt like type dream. Go big or go home, add those chopped chilies. Glory be to God, follow the yellow brick arrow and click your red heels three times.. while the line may be long, it is no different than the time you waste at Chick-fil-A or standing in line at the grocery store while you have to watch everyone else ring up their own groceries before you have an opportunity to play cashier yourself. It's absolutely insane how consistently slow this location is. I've been to plenty of In-N-Outs all across Arizona, and this one is hands-down the worst for wait time. Sometimes the line starts out on the actual street, right after getting off the 10. You're literally blocking traffic just trying to get into the parking lot. It feels like drive-thru roulette, and most times you lose. Food & Service Inside? Same reliable In-N-Out experience--friendly staff, clean interior, fast turnaround. It's almost always faster to walk in and order than sit in the drive-thru forever. The food is usually done right, and I've only had two order mistakes--but one of those happened after I had already waited forever and driven 25 minutes home, only to realize it was wrong. Now I check the bag every single time before pulling away. Parking & Traffic When it's busy, just trying to get into the parking lot feels like a death wish. The entrance gets completely clogged, and people end up stuck halfway in the street, which is stressful and dangerous. Bottom Line: Food? Great. Staff? Fine. I have been dining at this burger joint since childhood and never had a bad experience, but something went very awry here. For no particular reason, we decided to walk into the restaurant and make a to-go order. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. As we waited, there was one lady who had a problem with her order, who didn't seem to get helped well by one nonchalant cashier but another one came through for her. When we got to our car and I put my drink in the cupholder, my husband realized they hadn't given him the shake he ordered. He went back and got it. When we got home, instead of biting into the juicy raw onion I ordered on my double-double, I found myself chewing through a smattering of caramelized wormy onions. (Can you tell that I don't like those?) To make matters worse, when I got to two-thirds through my burger, the bun was soggy. Not with spread, but just ... inexplicably wet. Not an experience I am used to at this chain. My husband had ordered an extra spread packet. It was nowhere to be found. Went through drive through signs say to pick shortest line two employees were outside talking I figured I was next to order which I was according to the line, finally one of the employees takes my order and tells me to go behind the next vehicle in front no problem.. Until last second they change their mind and say that I need to be behind the car that was in the longer lane confused on why that is I decided to follow directions only to pull up and watch the lady at the window hand our drinks to the other vehicle, the people in that vehicle hand it back after accepting the drinks and the lady working the window looked at us while taking back the drinks, so when we pull up to the window to receive our order the lady at the window tried handing us the drinks they just had another customer touching we asked for new drinks to be made as we don't know if they touched the straws on the drinks and lady at the window laughed and started to gossip to their coworkers at the window now we have multiple employees looking at us like we did something wrong when all we wanted was drinks that haven't been possibly contaminated and not only that their own coworkers were the ones to mess up the line to begin with! What a great experience at 12 AM. I saw a fast food double drive threw lines wrapped around the building. I knew it had to be great. We dined inside to watch the magic. The employees wore a clean white uniform with gloves and a hat. Each person was in the weeds but happy and smiling. Faith answered all questions about the simple menu of burgers, fries, and shakes. Also not sure why the drive thru "directors" kept telling people it was totally fine to line up on the busy street instead of directing people around the back of the building to prevent accidents.
