This is the new large portion of fries. Half what it was before they changed portioning to using a bag.

Apparently Five Guys changed their policy for portioning their fries. Such a shame. An In N Out is going on across the street, that will be where my family goes from now on.

We've been coming here for about five years now, and it's one of those places that just stays consistent. You'll usually see a line, but don't let that scare you off--everything is made fresh right in front of you, so the short wait is part of the experience. What really sets this place apart is the grill. You can watch them cook your hot dog or sausage to order, getting that perfect snap on the casing with nice grill marks. The texture alone makes a big difference--it's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. They've got a ton of topping options too--probably a dozen or more. Whether you're into sauerkraut, sautéed peppers and onions, chili, or keeping it classic, you can build it exactly how you like it. The sides are solid. The fries are good, and the onion rings are a little different--thinner and softer than most--but still tasty. This isn't necessarily a place we go every week, but when the craving for a really good hot dog hits, this is where we go. It's definitely a local favorite, and you can tell by how many regulars have been coming here for decades. We've also heard they might be opening a location in Gilbert soon, which would be awesome. Overall, great food, fresh off the grill, and always hits the spot.

Ted's is my favorite hot dog spot in the Valley, and it keeps earning that title…read more There's a clear East Coast influence here, down to the details--like bottles of malt vinegar out for self-service, which is perfect over their fries, and Buffalo NY newspaper copies. And those fries are excellent on their own: thin-cut, crisped just right, with bits of potato skin mixed in for texture. The dog lineup is solid, with plenty of variety, but I usually stick with the all-beef frank. Everything's made to order, so there's typically a bit of a wait, but you get a buzzer so you can mind your own business while waiting. The space is a plus too, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. On my latest visit, a large group of bicyclists rolled in--some in full hot dog costumes, others in hot dog-print gear. They were all super friendly and cleaned up after themselves and it added to the whole experience. Consistently great food, a peaceful or fun atmosphere, and attention to the little things that matter.

She enjoyed the environment and energy. Our server was Marcus, who from the very beginning to the end was extraordinary. The games on the tv were playing and we played uno while waiting for our food. When the food arrived we prayed and immediately dove in. 3 corn dogs, perfectly crispy. A massive Bronco burrito A huge cheese burger. Extra tots and fries on the side. I will always and forever be a fan of Dog Haus. Thanks for being consistent. An open friendly place to be. We'll see you soon!!

I love popping in here real quick for a quick dog before hitting the rest of the downtown area. The food someone always tastes fresh. And that's a V lot to say for a hot dog. They seem almost gourmet level. The menu is small but has all the perfect staples. Onion rings, wings, and a selection of so many toppings on your dog. Sitting at the bar is always nice, quick and easy. A glass of wine, some appies, and you're all set! I always found the crowd a bit rowdy, but the service is always spot on and friendly. Overall, this is a solid, local spot that gets the job done. I love it!
