Stopped in here on the way home from road trip. Got a famous star with cheese, fried zucchini, and an ice tea. Hadn't been to a Carls in years and was craving some zucchini. I have to say the zucchini definitely hit the spot for my taste buds but the ranch dressing they accompany it with did not! The ranch was very bitter tasting and I couldn't palate it. As for the famous star it was a solid "Meh"! It had way to much ketchup and mayo on it so the inside of the wrapper was slimed all over and that got on the outside of the bun everywhere so it was impossible to try and eat it in the car. By the time I could get a few bites of it the lettuce was soggy so I'll give it a pass. Service was polite and prompt. He was a friendly young man at the counter. Love me some smiling customer service. I did see several staff members wiping counters, tables, glass doors so I liked seeing that! Bathrooms were also clean. read more

Let me start by saying I'm not a big burger person, but my family definitely is. Today I did something incredibly stupid. I ordered dinner through the app, but it hadn't updated to my current location and sent my order to a restaurant in another state--4.5 hours away. Just like that, I was out nearly $50, unable to cancel the order through the app, with my family at home waiting for dinner. To make matters worse, it was the last bit of money I had until payday. Thankfully, the team at Carl's Jr. stepped in. They were able to verify my purchase at the other location and honored the order at their store. What could have been a really awful evening turned into a reminder that genuinely good people still exist. Not only was the food great, but the customer service, kindness, and willingness to help were exceptional. If for no other reason than the fact that the people working there are honest, compassionate, and truly care about their customers, this is a place worth supporting. After driving for hours I decided to make a pit stop and pleasantly surprised by Joey's pleasant attitude. Despite my issues with the app Joey was patient and very helpful. The food was nice and warm and the facility clean. I would definitely recommend to friends / family. Quick note your app is not user friendly when trying to manage compliments. Update. Still no better. Best time to go to this location is during the start of day when who I believe is the store manager is in. The food is actually fresh when he is in. Tonight's order was old. Hungry for a burger this evening, so the Hubs and I headed to Carl's. I do enjoy the Beyond Famous Star combo and chose that tonight, and he craved the Western Bacon burger combo. This location is freeway close and very clean. The employees were nice and the food came quickly. Hubby always orders large size and enjoys the soda fountain Dr. Pepper here :) The first time we came was when we realized two weeks ago it was open 24 hours . Just be aware that the dining room closes during the night, and the drive thru uses AI at the speaker. It was kind of strange, but OK. We'll be back. I love that Beyond Burger! read more

Worst service ever from their GM big guy with an American flag tattooed on his arm was so rude to everyone. First of I asked for my military discount he saw the id and then still had to ask MOS are you kidding me next he saw where my truck was and I drive a really big truck so I had to take up a couple spots and he looked at that and he says oh I'm gonna have that towed off profanity and then he says oh that's your red truck oh well move it and park like normal people we said how am I supposed to park a really big truck like that in there he said park it across the parking lot and this guy is supposed to be your GM or whatever he's jerk. Every time when we head out to SoCal, we always stop at this Carl's Jr. to charge the Tesla. The general manager is always working there. He is kind, friendly, and gives excellent customer service! It was exactly 10 AM and he still let us order breakfast. The bathrooms are always clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is cooked perfectly. Food is hit and miss, when it's good it's really good. When it's bad, it's REALLY bad (cold fries, underdone food, etc.) The thing that really sucks is that the dining room isn't supposed to close until 11pm. At around 9:20am on a Sunday went into this Carl's Jr and it was nice and clean, especially the bathroom. They were quick to take my order and everything was extremely fresh and piping hot! So 3 years ago was the last time I walked in the door with my family. Paid $95 for 7 people to eat. Obviously I didn't come back until now... Present Day---- Nothing has changed in 3 years. Crappy cold food. Burgers in the warmer to long. Onion rings for Western Bacon way past hold times. The Bacon was so old. I always loved Carl's Js. They are at a Tesla Supercharger, but instead of welcoming potential customers and inducing them with good service, they insist that bathrooms are for customers only. While I have no objection to the choices that a company makes in how they chose to serve the public, this attitude is what has resulted in my rating of this establishment.
