I love a classic sub sandwich, created to perfection with ingredients I'd serve in my home. Jersey Mike's delivers on quality every single time. I love that the meats and cheeses are sliced to order, as you watch them build your sandwich. This is how it should be. No ingredients left out to dry up. I order all my subs hot - throw that bun and the meat on the griddle and get it sizzling hot. What else can you ask for? That's a little slice of heaven when the sandwich is grilled. The bread is always ridiculously fresh and delicious. My favorite is classic white, but I love the whole wheat when I order turkey. Ordering from their app couldn't be easier. I place my order and when I walk in the door, voila, there it is, waiting for me. Hot, fresh, ready to eat. A smile to greet me, no pressure to tip, etc... I love the location, too. Not the best experience. Service was slow. Ordered Philly cheese steak to split. We were handed the wrong order and when we got the right order it wasn't cut in half which necessitated a third trip to the cashier. The person whose order was confused with ours was still waiting for his sandwich when we had finished and left. If it had been our first cheese steak we would never order it again. I love Jerry Mikes. It is by far my favorite out of all the sub shops. I always get Philly Beef and cheese at least once a month. Usually at the Watson Rd store. I have to say this new store that just opened made me the worst sandwich I ever had out of dozens of other chain stores throughout Arizona and California. I got the new store promo, BOGO and basically, the beef was WAY over cooked. That's the bottom line. The person attending the grill had to know this and should have tossed it out and started a new fresh order of chopped beef and onion on the grill. The cook must have gotten occupied doing something else, because it was so bad the meat had dried out and been cooked for so long parts of it were crispy like bacon and not a drop of juice left in the beef, along with the onions and peppers completely caramelized to dark brown and black bits. Also, noticeably, there was hardly any cheese on the sandwich. Another issue I had was with the huge amount of gristle chunks I had to keep spitting out. And finally, I bit into this big chunk of a stalk, what I think might be from the pepper plant. Very poor-quality control at this store during my first visit to this one and shame on the cook that put this sandwich together grossly over cooked and serve its customer pickup order. Unfortunately, I got mine to go and the sandwich was horrible but I was starved to death and ate it. See the chunks of gristle and the plant-like material that came out of my sandwich shown. I am utterly disappointed at the service that I received at this location. It started with my entrance into the store. Upon entry 3 people were there behind the counter, but no one addressed me to welcome me or take my order. I had to inquire to see if someone was working the counter and I was told by one of the female workers that she was working on another order. I accepted her response and waited until she was able to address me. I gave her my order and she went back to trying to wrap a sub sandwich that another worker for an online order. She appeared not to be properly trained, as it took her multiple attempts to wrap the order. As a patron I was disappointed at the lack of attentiveness and poor customer service displayed by the workers. The service was unprofessional and inconsiderate of me as a consumer, and it resulted in me canceling my order and heading to the other store on Watson & Yuma. I encourage your corporation to work on training your employees, especially the youth. This is a brand new location, and I would hope for the success of this location that my feedback be highly considered moving forward. Such a shame. I introduced a co worker to jersey mikes for the first time. When we first started going , the sandwiches had a respectable amount of meat. Add the fixings, chips and it was suitable. The past 4-5 times there, the meat volume has gone down considerably. I usually get the number 9 but decided to try something else: tuna. Taste was fine, however the amount put on was like a thin layer of mayo. I might as well have just ordered a bread sandwich. There's no way I could in good conscience serve this to a client. My friends like it also, I just remembered that I had an order delivered when we were getting settled into our new place and didn't want to cook. Ordered a club with light Mayo and light mustard with pickles. It comes DRIPPING in Mayo and mustard and NO pickles AND they apparently forgot to put the bacon on my sandwich. She told the manager, i waited 20 minutes and never heard from him. He was actually on the phone on a personal call when i decided to ask him what was being done to help me. He lied and said i was offered a replacement and that i had refused. He offered me a replacement and a refund, which i turned down, since at that point, he became very aggressive and i just wanted to get my friend out of there, since she was upset. Staff not friendly. When walking to the store, one worker was coming from Cafe Rio talking. I go in and I'm the only customer there. NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGES ME! Finally the young man behind the counter tells a young lady can you fix her order. I order a mini and she says on white or wheat, I say white. She grabs wheat and I tell her that looks like wheat. Then she proceeds to say we are out of bread. Mind you, it is 7:15pm and they close at 9pm. This is unacceptable. Told her I didn't want it and walked out. The inconsistency! It's always hit and miss if they're going to make my order correct. I alway order a chicken Philly in a tub with extra veggies. Last night my husband and I stopped in to get dinner and again I got my favorite item #16 in a tub with extra veggies. We get home I pull it out of the bag and find a VERY poor excuse for food. Barely enough to eat AND no cheese on it!. We don't live super close so it's not like I can hop in the car and have them fix it. I had to take cheese out from my fridge and melt it onto the chicken and veggies. On top of that, it costs is 27 bucks for a giant sub and a tub and I don't even get my monies worth? That is expensive. It's rare we eat out and on the rare occasion when we do, we picked jersey mikes. I didn't want to cook last night and had to because I barely had enough to eat. I should have checked the bag before I left, but I THOUGHT it was their job to make the orders correctly and check them before going out to customers. I use to work in fast food service. Customers deserve to get their orders correct and get an accurate portion of food every time. I feel so ripped off. ALSO!!! It always smells like the nail salon next door... I wonder if the demising wall between both suites go all the way up to the deck or not... or landlord needs to check the ventilation. read more

Wow today's service was horrible! Ordered subs online was given a pick up time of 1:05 and I arrive about 1:17 they hadn't even started the sandwiches. Another gentleman came in with me. His order was supposed to be ready at 12;46 still wasn't! Here it is 1:40 and I finally have my sandwiches! This place was on top of their game for months but even with about 7 people they couldn't provide quality service! Visited the buckeye, Watson Rd location and it was horrible. The bread on one of the giant subs was so hard, I couldn't chew on it. Showed an employee the hard bread, and she told the manager. My favorite sub place better than subway & firehouse! My only complaint was I went in this afternoon ordered a #44 & a #13 the guy who took my order was super nice & patience, didn't get his name but he was a tall white male asked if I wanted everything on my sub I proceeded to tell him I wanted my #13 plain which he did without a problem.. my issue wasn't him. Anyways I wait till they finish making my #44 & I wasn't gonna stand there & just watch them make it. 2 mins later my they told me my order was ready & I kindly ask the girl at the cash register if my #44 had lettuce & the other garnishes on it.. She asks another girl I guess the one that made the sandwich if she had put lettuce on it and the other girl said she did put lettuce on it so I was like okay, as she makes a face at me & gives me attitude just because I asked about MY FOOD ???? I'm assuming the gentleman overheard the conversation & says " I'll check your sub for you since I have gloves on" & let's the girl on the register know " when in doubt just pop on some gloves check the sub to make sure " keep in mind he said this to her in a POLITE way! Then she proceeds to roll her eyes at him & then at ME?!?!? & mimicks him! I placed an order for my husband to pick up on his way home and I have to say, they were spot on with all my requests! I'm so appreciative that not only did they read my requests but they took it serious to help these tired parents out! Our house has been up and down with colds for over a week and picking up food was a nice luxury after being stuck in the house. The few tweaks on mine and my husbands sandwiches weren't much but the kids always share a sandwich and love their pickles! On top of that, cutting it into 3 sections for me, made it super easy to split up for the kids! Not every place we go to reads the requests, but this group surely did!
