Wow. We came here today and picked up two ribeyes and some asparagus. Now, it wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. Those ribeyes had intramuscluar marbling that you won't even see on the USDA Primes at AJ's, and the asparagus has tight purple-blue tips that looked like they were ready for a night on the town. And the selection... wow. They have stuff here that you absolutey cannot get anywhere else. And I'm not going to tell you what they have that you can't get anywhere else, because then y'all will start buying it and I won't be able to get any. So you'll just have to do some homework. Yeah sucks to do this . Well I had ordered a 4 bone prime rib and when my wife picked it up it looked like a Choice cut and for 27.99 a pound I was expecting a better cut . I ended up trimming it up and smoking it . The taste of it was poor meat I know next time go to my normal butcher. Also look at what we paid over $300.00 . So from all there other reviews it seams like the people that buy from them don't know what there looking at or there asking for a 5 star for a discount. read more

These guys only carry the best MEAT on the west side of Phoenix. One of my friends had shared her secret with me when I was looking for fish..lol! And one day, we stumbled upon the meat shop and my husband has not stopped his weekly visits, well almost weekly visits. lol! They have all sorts of fresh meats that are aged over 30 days as they advertised but, they are also a family owned business and its nice to see a butcher shop where you purchase your meats. I used to see this in movies such as Rocky..lol! And its kinda neat I can actually brag to my family back home in the 808 that I have a place where we can get fresh beef and seafood. Weve tried their calamari steak and it was really good, I havent yet dabbled into their fish section just yet but, I will. But, my husband loves their meats, gets so excited each time we go and has to rush home to either cook it on the grill, in the stove, or in our Ninja Foodie and of course, cant go wrong with our homemade Hawaiian seasoning! I was told about the butcher shop by a friend that goes there regularly. I did place a order before over the phone ( I had my Littles with me and didn't want to take them in) and the customer service was AWESOME! I went thru their webpage and figured I'll try one of their meat packages. They was so kind to bring it to my car and I paid car side. This time I went in and it was so "clean and fresh", not that overwhelming blood touching metal smell All the shelves was properly stocked and advertising label showing. The gentleman helping me was very helpful, because I was feeling a little overwhelmed because of all the awesome selections from meats, seafood, marinades, dry rub to honey! Pretty great place for a meat shop! Growing up I used to go to meat shops all the time. One thing that stuck with me was the smell. I absolutely hated it. Coming in here was the complete opposite. You wouldn't think you were in a meat shop. It was clean, smelled great with great lighting. Now to the meats. They had every meat you could think of. I came in looking for lamb chops and ending up leaving with lamp chops, andouille sausage, ox tails, and beef neck bones. All the meat looking fresh and the ones on display had a vibrant red color. They even got every seasoning you could ever think of. Will definitely be coming back here to get some more meat. Definitely glad I found this place on yelp! read more

This place is incredible. The meat is absolutely amazing. They literally have everything you can think of including chicken livers (my husbands favorite) to top of the line gorgeous steaks. Rib Eyes are to die for. I feel it is very fairly priced for the quality you are getting. And to top it off the owners are so kind and helpful and very sweet. We have purchased a number of different cuts and believe me, they have all been excellent! Someone recommended the boneless chicken breasts, and now we will never buy chicken breasts anywhere else. They are absolutely perfect. We have also tried some of the marinades and they are also great. We have had a couple of let-downs though. We bought frozen shrimp and they were terrible (mushy). We also picked up a couple of ears of corn. They were tough and lacked flavor. I think they would be better to focus on what they are good at, and perhaps not try to carry so many items. I get that they may be trying to pick up extra sales by having complementary items on hand, but they should really just stick to what they are best at - THE MEAT!!! read more

I went here on the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed! Very friendly and helpful staff, an excellent selection / choice of meat cuts and types as well as meat products, plus a range of peripherals such as rubbing seasonings and such like. They are also dog friendly (I didn't take mine in as he's almost 240# and I didn't want him to be of concern to other patrons, even though he's friendly).. I bought various cuts of meat as well as some of their British Bangers.. Now I AM British by original and I can tell you they were great, as well as nicely priced. The steaks were awesome. The ribs are amazing too. Certainly well worth a visit as the quality step up from supermarket meet is VERY obvious indeed. read more

They do have pretty decent meat, although there are a couple of times that it was very chewy and gristle. I am done here now. I bought rib eye steaks here and at safeway today. Off the hook was 5 times the price per pound. What really set me off was I noticed that they charge an ADDITIONAL 3.5% credit card fee unless you pay cash. First, they shouldn't have to pay more than 2.75% to a credit card merchant and second, it is their cost of doing business. When you are charging 5 times the cost, it is just down right WRONG to charge transaction fees. Time to go elsewhere. read more

Drove here from Queen Creek, and it was so worth the drive. My sister in law, told us about this place, and I am so thankful she did. The meat is of the highest quality. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Shop is super clean and following all social distancing rules. You must try , The Loot N Booty BBQ Everything Rub, it is to die for. So is the, Competition Original BBQ Sauce. Wish these guys could BBQ a Tomahawk ribeye togo for me, because in the case, they looked awesome. (I have no idea how to cook something like that). And at $29.99 a pound, not going to experiment. Today I bought, ground beef, baby back ribs, bacon, and chicken. Love this place.
