Place was busy but not crazy crowded. Two of us walked in and were immediately seated at one of the available tables. And we sat there. And sat there. And sat there some more. By this time twenty minutes had elapsed and the menu had been memorized. Still no one came to take our order. When we asked the young man who seated us for a server, he walked away without saying anything. Always a local favorite. My fiancé and I love to come here for breakfast on the weekends to spend some time alone planning our week or looking at what events we have coming up this month. The atmosphere is awesome and such a cute concept with the name referencing a bible quote. A reminder of the importance to serve within your community! This is a charming little breakfast/lunch spot in old downtown Buckeye, right on the main drag and next to the venerable "Hobo Joe" statue. The menu is small but it has the basics on it. Breakfast has a couple of burritos and breakfast sandwiches, along with some pancake dishes and an interesting breakfast bowl. All of it is good and the ingredients taste fresh. The breakfast burrito is HUGE and has quite a bit of chorizo in it. It'll feed two without issue. Lunch has the usual burgers and sandwiches and is fairly straight forward. Nothing too unusual so it'll satisfy your breakfast or lunch cravings. Good burgers and sandwiches. The burger with peanut butter is really good. I thought the service was especially good. On both visits our server was pleasant and knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She recommended some good things and knew the menu well. She brought the food out quickly and made sure refills were plentiful. She was great. The vibe here is nice. It's not like a greasy diner, but has a more upscale feel, with the bare bricks on the wall and the exposed wood beamed ceilings. The place is very clean. It's great for a business lunch, a casual morning bite, a girls brunch, or a family escapade. Everyone will find something they like. The food is good, but I didn't see or eat anything that changed my life. It's a good daytime eatery with a nice vibe and great service. Prices are high for Buckeye, but it seems all restaurants are getting super expensive. Their price on food is obviously going up too. This must be the "great economy" that Biden and his incompetent press secretary, KJP, keep telling us about. Overall a good stop. Nothing mind-blowing. Nom, nom, nom. The Buckeye breakfast is enough food for two or three people. Full disclosure: I finished every bite. Three eggs (perfectly cooked), bacn, choice of bread (English muffin for me), a stack of pancakes, and the best homefries I've ever had. Let me dwell on those home fries for a moment... So on the way home from Mexico. Crossing in Lukeville heading north on the 85. Just a few miles before the 10fwy. We found this gem. We had been driving for 3 hours and starting to feel that hunger. We stepped in to a very quaint brick haven of breakfast heaven. The drink options abound. I went with a cappuccino. Delicious. Ordered a basic eggs, bacon, home fries, toast and pancakes. The flavor was far from basic. Bacon was thick and perfectly cooked. Toast was already warm and buttered. Eggs were plump and very yolkie. I made that word up. They were runny the way I enjoy them. The star of the mix? The pancakes. Custom batter. Touch of this and touch of that. What the this or that was? I don't know. But you can tell they take their breakfast serious. You won't regret stopping here. Portion sizes were gigantic. Nobody in my party finished and yet everyone was happy we brunched here. read more

This place is a hidden gem in downtown Buckeye! It is quant warm and welcoming cafe with friendly service and a simple menu. The lattes were amazing and the breakfast burrito was so big I split it with my wife and we were both full. The chorizo they used is flavorful and the potatoes are cooked well. The best part about this experience is they service the best cinnamon roll we have ever had! It is big enough for 2 and is served warm and is smother in frosting and the roll is soft and fresh. This cinnamon roll is worth driving a few hours for and I am not over exaggerating! read more

Eh - just okay. The service was interesting, we waited a long time for even a drink order to be taken and had one woman taking orders in the whole place so again, it took a long time. When we had service, everyone was very nice but I wasn't asked if I wanted a refill of tea (until we had already paid the bill- he did ask if I wanted it to go which I appreciated), I had to chase her down for extra gravy and when we asked for a coffee refill - we had to ask twice for the one refill. Food: I had a 3 cheese omelette - kind of small compared to some places and it came with potatoes or toast - not both. I do not eat much so that didn't bother me but again, if you are used to getting both - j(ust be aware that toast will cost you extra). My parents own a restaurant in LA and my Dad would do that if he could get away with it to save a buck. My Mom would never let that happen ( there is a little insight into the back office of a restaurant) Hubby had the benedict and was very disappointed in the potatoes - said they tasted frozen not fresh - I will agree - they were very dry and some were so over cooked that they were hollow. I liked the seasoning on them and he did like the benedict but did comment while eating " I never have to come back here" Our friend had a burrito which was huge but it says "smothered" in gravy on the menu (according to him) and it had a small spoonful that looked more like decoration, he asked for more. It took a long time to get food to our table and tables that ordered after us got their food before us - that made the hungry men I was with a bit hangry ; ) Our check was just placed on the table we weren't asked if we wanted anything else - which I did. I wanted to try their peanut butter cookie and some coffee but we paid the bill and left as they were getting busy. This seems to be a hot spot as it was very busy as we were heading out but like my husband said - we probably will not go back. I was glad to try it as I am all about supporting local. read more

Just traveling through. This quaint little café like cheers everyone knows your name.. they have there locals that come in for their morning coffee.. based on the scripture Matthew 25:35. The pancakes were amazing they looked beautiful golden brown add some butter and syrup simply wonderful.. they had a little crunch to it on the ends and melted in your mouth.. I had a croissant sandwich you can smell the butter on the croissant very fresh. I sat here and watched people come in and pick up phone orders or to go orders. People who work here are a little younger but the crowd here is all generations when we got here there we 2 older gentleman having their morning coffee. Let me start off by saying the food is really good. The service was okay. I love the concept, the place is nice and clean. However, when you walk into a place that says they close at 2:00pm and it's 1:05pm and you see almost every single employee not to happy that you and your family are there, not a good feeling. Honestly, I felt rushed the entire time I was there. We ordered and our food and 2 min after it arrived the employees started moving tables and chairs, started sweeping, dusting off the rug, placing all the chairs on top of the tables. The worse part is that I didn't even get to enjoy my food. My family felt the same way. If they would of started doing all this at 2:00pm I would understand but that was not the case. I had the tuna croissant and loved the dill and was glad it was not dry. The flight of mimosa is not what i typically call a flight but a flight of different juices for the split of prosecco. On our way between Albuquerque and California we searched Yelp and found this cafe. What a gem!!! So unexpected to find not only great service but amazing fresh food and the best mimosa ever!! They offered the addition of a passion fruit purée for my mimosa.. Get it.. I will post photos as well. We had 3 of the sweetest waitresses! Charlie, Bree and Kaitlyn..
