Where to begin. First, I really do love Sonic overall: their food is usually delicious, their drinks spectacular and their service top notch! But this location? I'm done. The food? The "main" items (i.e. burgers) are nearly always overcooked, the toppings less than crisp and the buns stale. And this has been my experience over the past several years!! No, I don't go every day, or even every week or month, but I do go between 6-10 times per year. The sides & drinks? Still amazing (and what has drawn me back, especially during Arizona's summers!) I visit Sonics all over the west - my kids love it there but I don't think their tastes are as discriminating as mine and my wife's! Anyway, this past - and last - visit to the one and only in Buckeye I got in a shouting match with the manager over extra condiments to go with my LARGE cheddar peppers and medium mozzarella sticks. Her name is Cece (or something like that). My receipt says 3 marinara and 2 ranch, but that's not what I got. At the end it cost me $0.52 for an extra of each. Congrats on your gain of that and your loss of a customer. Amazing!! Oh, and I did the online survey and requested that I be contacted. It's been 6+ weeks and nothing from anyone. Always has teenagers who don't care working. App orders never seem to get made. You'll be ignored when you show up there. Groovy Fries aka crinkle cut fries. *WARNING* These fries were the worst fries I have ever had in my lifetime. They were so cheaply made. For crinkles I think of a nice thick fry, but these were tiny. Thinner than a shoestring and little bits and pieces with maybe 4 out of 20 fries in the order over an 1-1/2" all the rest just little tiny bits. And the grease they retain, omg! So greasy. The napkin I dumped mine on was saturated with grease when done and had to wipe my fingertips a few times while trying to eat them. For $1 any size it is not worth it unless you like or want all that grease in your diet. Just bad fries, you never expect them to be this thin and just garbage bits and pieces. It's all thumbs down for them. One thing I did notice in the Buckeye store the service has improved since my last visits. I ordered a slush through their app, and set pickup for about 30 minutes later. Once we arrived and got our slush, it was literally like mango syrup juice. There was hardly anything slushy about it. I was very disappointed because we were coming from the 10 and it was like a 30 minute detour, but my boyfriend and I were really craving a slush. If I could give negative reviews, I would. There isn't a single person there that cares at all about their job. Not a single person. Tonight was no exception. 2 small milkshakes and a cherry limeade. Simple, right? Nope. Not only did I wait 15 mins after the time the app said things would be ready, the young lady brought everything completely covered in melted ice cream and chocolate fingerprints. You couldn't even touch the cups. She was so kind as to get a cup carrier because wiping them off was clearly too much effort. I get home (8 min drive) and the cherry limeade was a melted strawberry fruit slush. It wasn't even slightly cold, that's how melted it was. If I could have touched it while in my car (you know, if the outside of what should have been my CHERRY LIMEADE) wasn't covered in chocolate sauce, I would have been able to request the proper drink. We love the desserts here. My kids Love mixing the endless candies with the slushees and my hubby loves all the candy he can add to his shakes and master blasts. Personally I can barely finish a strawberry sundae. Not a big candy person. I do like their mozzarella cheese sticks very much. They are surprisingly not oily or too dry. The marinara sauce is perfect. Today we got all kinds of shakes and blasts and sundaes. The staff was very nice and apologized for the delay, although I was thinking it was normal time to wait at the parking spaces they have, so I appreciated that they thought it could have been faster. My sundae was yummy. And even though I don't like Oreos ( only like the cookie not the creme, IDK, don't judge me LoL) my daughters Oreo blast looked delicious! read more

This location always has the WORST service. They are extremely slow, and 9 out of 10 times, something is wrong or missing in our orders. I have had to walk up to the door multiple times to ask for the sauce I ordered, and I stand there and wait as the staff avoids eye contact with me so they don't have to address the problem. After going back to ask for sauce, the worker went back, chatted with their friends, and then looked for sauce- then came back empty handed because they were out of sauce. Not to mention after waiting 40 mins, being the only car in the lot, our food is cold. Amazing place to stop and get late night snack or ice cream. Staff is always helpful i was help my Caroline (Red Hair Girl) very nice and always with a smile and always willing to help customers. I like to bring in my kids for ice cream and the wait it's worth it. So be ready to wait. I see people get little crazy because of the wait time but its crazy the amount of people will come from the car stalls, drive true, order from the window etc. Thank you Carolina and be sure to ask for her, very helpful person and always with a smile and the Ice Cream is on Point, be sure to order online using the app for it makes things easier and the wait is not as long as all you need to do is place your order, select your arrival time and check in on the app entering you vehicle stall number and you good. read more

Not only do they under pay their staff CC the manager fired minors for not willing to work a 18 HOUR SHIFT on a school day which is illegal and violated child labor laws!!!! The conditions are absolutely disgusting and surrounding were awful concerned as to how they follow food safety laws if they have no regard to labor laws. The ambiance was terrible the manager was rude and took no accountability they pay there workers under minimum wage to barely make any tips absolutely sickening.
