Cute spot we found near my aunt's home in the historic side of Buckeye. The parking is around back and there is a Veteran's Memorial next to the building. Based on Matthew 25:35...which they have posted on their wall. They have a full coffee bar with tons of syrups and choices. I had a hot nutella latte, my husband had a caramel something, they even have a few tea choices. The pancakes are huge, thank goodness we got a single for our kid. The portion sizes are awesome, and great for sharing. We also got a sausage and egg croissant Sammy, Big Country Omelet, and 1 carpenter. We had a lot of left overs, unfortunately we couldn't take it because we weren't heading home yet. If we're ever in town again, we'll probably stop by again. If not for the food, the coffee for sure. The place was clean and the employees were very friendly. They had us wait a bit while they sanitized there table and chairs for us before seating us. I really appreciate that. The decor is country-vintage chic and I loved the exposed brick walls. read more

Buttermilk pancakes tall stack - 3 large pieces, shared among 5 people . Short stack could have been just enough. Country omelet- delicious. Shared bet 3 people Buckeye breakfast- too much carb. 4 pieces of pancahed, 4 half toasts. 3 sunny sides and 2 bacon pieces. Shared between 2. 2 egg omelet w bacon - this is the right way to eat! The first time I had brunch with a friend here, it was amazing. The service was really fast and the food was great.. which is why I still rated them 4 stars. Yesterday was just "so so" on terms of service, we were seated and waited 10-15 minutes before we even had anyone come to the table for drinks. Then again waited another 10 to order our food. I had the same thing as I did last time, but they forgot one of the main ingredients of the dish this time which was the egg. I was kinda bummed but shrugged it off. It definitely wasn't worth what I paid for. It came out fast and it was still really good even though it was missing the entire base of the meal. My friend asked for a to go box and we waited yet another 10 minutes and the server said "sorry, I just forgot". I'm not sure if I'll be back, but if I do go back...it'll definitely be before peak brunch times. read more

In the little town of Buckeye is a small diner that serves up breakfast and lunch with a friendly smile and a welcoming atmosphere. My party decided to grab breakfast here on a Saturday morning. We arrived just as they were opening and approximately 30 minutes later the place was packed. All tables filled ( it's close quarters anyway) and others waiting for takeout orders. In the age of COVID I think there should be a better system for takeout and pickup orders, because the seems to be heavy traffic with patrons looking over your table as you're trying to enjoy your meal. That's my only caveat. Erin provided excellent service and the food was ok. My favorite thing I ordered was the home fries. Give me a bowl of those and I'm good. The Denver omelette special was nice. The omelet was filled with veggies and was certainly fluffy. It was bland but that was probably because we omitted the ham. There wasn't a veggie omelet option. The pancakes ( short stack) are about as large as a frisbee. I didn't really enjoy them. Mine were a bit gummy in the center and seemed like they were a bit overdone and cooked on a HEAVILY oiled griddle. I like to add butter to mine not have them already oily. This is a personal preference and will not deter me from coming again and sticking with the omelette and home fries. I like the place and I think you should give it a try if you're in the area. read more

I want to start off by saying the food here is very good. They have fresh, made from scratch, cinnamon rolls that are amazing. The coffee is just as delicious and they have plenty of sugar free syrup options too add in to your coffee along with non dairy milk. On a different note, their servers are lacking customer service and welcoming feel. read more

If you're willing to drive 10 minutes off the 10 to get a sandwich, this spot is a great choice. Driving there, you may think I must be mistaken based on the area, but I promise, the service is friendly and fast, the food is fresh (real turkey, good quality tuna, fresh veggies, good bread)....plus they make their own chips and fries! read more

Best food in Buckeye!! Great service too. I use to go here all the time as a local and miss it a lot since I moved. Best breakfast burritos, excellent coffee, fantastic lunch... try the honey mustard with your fries! Seriously, you can't go wrong here! Clean and charming little local hole in the wall. read more

One of my fave place to stop for coffee! I work in the Buckeye area and when I need a caffeine this is where I go. I like the Texas caramel mocha, it's bold and strong. When I drink the iced coffee, keeps me wired all day! The restaurant food is good. The customer service is hit-and-miss. Overall, it is a great place to eat. read more

Been meaning to go here for a while. Huge serving sizes, and pancakes are a must. The biscuit and gravy was an unexpected up charge, but only a couple of bucks - for me not worth it, but I'm not really a biscuits and sausage gravy guy. Didn't grow up with it, just figured I'd try it, maybe it's just not my thing. Portions were generous. In my photo, there's a serving of the biscuit gravy. It was big! I found there breakfast sausage tasty in a egg sandwich, on a subsequent visit. 5 out of 5 stars! read more

I so wish I would have taken pictures! Super cute little local eatery that stayed busy the whole time I was there. I am so glad I discovered it and can't wait to go back and try more of what they have to offer. I had the Reuben and sweet potato fries. It was tasty. Super small portion, so be aware of that if you're really hungry. It was just right for me. My friend had the Palo Verde burger and chips and she said it was great as well. The staff was as friendly as could be and you could tell this is a spot locals frequent by their interaction with the customers. I look forward to going back since it's so close to home. read more

Buckeye is farther away from most of the better brunch restaurants over on the east side. However this cute hidden gem in downtown buckeye served me one of the best pancakes i've ever had. It tasted homemade and so fluffy, the buttermilk makes it taste heavenly. I also tried there breakfast burrito and lemme tell you. the caramel used onions hit the spot in the burrito. Also amazing latte, got the caramel macchiato with oat milk and tasted very smooth. Definitely should try if ever in buckeye! read more

Everything was great here! Ordered the Country fried Steak Special that came with a little bit of everything to try. We all enjoyed our dishes and had zero disappointment. They serve the food on cute little trays and potatoes in a fry basket. Ordered lattes and they were delicious! I will definitely be returning here to try other things on the menu. It was a little busy on a Saturday and it's a small place. My only complaint is the waiting structure. We kind of just waited in line watching people finish their food with our large party of 6 holding the door open to be seated, without much acknowledgement from the waiters. It would of been nice to have had someone take down our name so that we can wait in our car or outside instead of standing in very small area. read more

I really liked the open feel of the interior. It was clean and organized and the staff was pleasant and willing to take care of the customer. We actually had hoped Breakfast would be served on a Saturday till their close at 2pm, but not the case. On to the lunch menu. The food was sub-par for me. I ordered the Arlington Burger and I asked for a cup of the Tomato Bisque Soup. I had hoped to receive the soup before the burger arrived, but they came out at the same time. Tomato Bisque: Served with a Smilie Face drawn in "Creame Fresh" but the actual product had a strange taste to me, like plastic. Did they microwave in an old plastic bowl? Did they reheat it on the stove and leave a plastic fork in it? I ate three bites and didn't want to take any chances. My wife had the soup too and said she didn't taste anything abnormal. Strike One. Arlington Burger with potato fries. T his was a major disappointment. I ordered the burger MEDIUM - it came out well done. Strike Two. The burger had be seasoned with some type of chili powder mix the Server referred to as "YONKERS DUST" . i don't mind a slight heat in my food but this time it was overwhelming to me. I could smell the "heat" emitting from the plate before I even dug in. Then my first bite. YUCK! No Bueno. Topped with the fact it was over cooked, this gets almost a ZERO on my rating scale. I took half home to mix with some kidney beans to make a chili out of it. Really, it was that potent. Strike Three. The Fries are unique in cut and they way they are served in mini fry baskets. They too had the special "YONKERS DUST" but they weren't as heavily laced as was the burger. A little ketchup calmed it down. The Menu: There is no pricing on the menu. Seriously. Either be able to afford what ever they want to charge you or qualify your order before hand to be sure you know what's coming out of your wallet at the end of it all. SERVICE: Home Run here. I shared my disappointment with our server who immediately offered to 1) get me a glass of milk to quench the fire in my mouth and 2) offered to have the burger remade. I reminded her I ordered a Medium then showed her the result of what I got. She was apologetic and again offered to have a new burger made. She gave us a 15% discount on the bill. Not much more she could do than what she did for us. Thanks for that. Overall: Unfortunately, this won't be a spot I will refer nor will we return. If they want to use "YONKERS DUST" perhaps they should come up with a way to pre-determine if their customer wants to be "YONKERED" before the cook is let loose on the grill. read more

Today, our breakfasts are experienced at places like "Over Easy," "First Watch," "Village Inn," and "Denny's." It's industrial breakfast. The old-fashioned, mom-and-pop diners are as rare as a hen's tooth. But not in Buckeye, Arizona. The Heritage is a welcome return to the great, neighborhood breakfast counters of old. It's privately owned and the owner, Kevin, greets you and stops by your table. "That's great," you say. But what about the food? And that's where The Heritage makes its name. Let's start with the homemade, pillowy sourdough English muffins. Most places use some industrial-food English muffin preserved with disgusting ingredients like L-Cysteine. These aren't those. These are like your grandma made. They're soft, yeasty circles of beauty with just enough sourdough taste to send your tastebuds into bread heaven. They're a far cry from your basic English muffin. On to the eggs. Most breakfast restaurants use liquid eggs from the restaurant supply. They come in big bags, bereft of nutritious value and flavor, but full of preservatives. Not these. The Heritage uses fresh eggs and they've perfected how to make them fluffy, buttery, and perfectly-cooked. No brown spots or runny middles. It's egg perfection. The sausage is really different. These are not your usual Sysco or Shamrock greasy pucks. They're thin and fresh and meaty and just slightly spicy (not hot just slightly herby). They're a subtle flavor surprise. And fork tender. The potatoes are little cubes of rich goodness. Cooked just right and golden brown. They're excellent. To finish off the breakfast, Heritage serves a luscious Carmel pecan roll with a vanilla glaze. I liked it but it was slightly dry if I want to be ridiculously nit-picky. But most people wouldn't even notice. All of it is served by some smiling young women who were working hard and answering lots of questions. The entire service experience was pleasant, friendly, and efficient. On a Saturday morning the place was PACKED so service was slightly slow. Though nothing like a crazy morning at Over-Easy or First Watch. What an amazing and pleasant surprise this little restaurant is. Their breakfast burrito looked excellent and everybody around us was raving about it. I'll try that next. We've decided to call it "The Derek Special" because it was that good! The shrimp were the juiciest I've ever had, and the flavors blended perfectly. I had the chicken capellini, which was also really good, light, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was out of this world. Derek took such great care of us, and even the atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming. A kind gentleman at the table beside us even paid for our meal. Thank you, mystery man! What a sweet surprise to top off a wonderful lunch. The restaurant was spotless, the menu had tons of great options, and everything came out fresh and hot. Overall, just an incredible family lunch spot. Can't wait to come back!

I love having a restaurant of this caliber in our hometown of Buckeye. After living here my entire life, I have seen many cafes come and go, but this place is making a great success of it. The food is wonderful. I love the fact that Tony Youngker has created original burgers, sandwich and breakfast items. Everything that I have tried was wonderful. My husband and I are on a quest to try everything on the menu. The iced tea is fresh and tasty and the coffee drinks are delicious. Everyone of the staff is genuinely attentive and friendly. I don't think John has any expression, but his great smile and he is always so helpful. Tony and staff you are doing a great job and I will see you soon and often. The atmosphere is easy going and I love the decor. read more

This is the best place in Buckeye to eat!! Food is fantastic!! Prices are good and yes diet soda would be nice but I will take the tea or coffee. Homemade chips are wonderful addition to the sandwiches. If you prefer there are sweet potato and regular fries. All of which are wonderful. My last visit was a buffalo chick sandwich which was fantastic!! I haven't even mentioned all of the very yummy baked goods. The frosting is not overly sweet so everything tastes so fantastic!! I was in last week and loved my food and even sampled the food of the other people with me. It was amazing. So I thought great my husband's b-day is next week I will take him here. What I experienced this morning was nowhere near what I had last week. My favorite item last week was the potatoes, today they were under seasoned, cold and some weren't even cooked all the way through. I will not be returning or recommending 25 35 to anyone. read more

I love Buckeye's new cafe for breakfast and lunch. We needed a place like this with delicious food and people who delight in serving quality food. I appreciate that they use local ingredients when they can. The bakery goods are heavenly - I can't believe I finally found a great cinnamon roll in Buckeye:) I hope I will be seeing all of you at Cafe 25:35 soon, so you can enjoy the same great food I enjoy. read more

I have been enjoying Cafe 25:35 since they opened. For either breakfast or lunch, each selection from the menu I have received has been very good. The coffee there is REALLY good, and next trip I am buying a pound of the beans, they sell them there. I love Cafe 25:35, and the staff, and the food. The hollandaise sauce was definitely the weak spot of the meal. It didn't taste like true hollandaise, had an odd chemical taste, and was surprisingly too spicy. However, the biscuits and gravy and the potatoes were really good and made up for it. Even with the issue with the hollandaise sauce, the amazing service and solid food still earn this place 5 stars. I'll definitely be back, but will try something other than the Benedict omelette.

We ordered the Million Dollar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich with seasoned potatoes, along with the Farmstead Tacos with potatoes and a side of Million Dollar Bacon. The tacos and breakfast sandwich were both good, but the maple bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious! I ordered the pickled jalapeños on the side, which was perfect for me. One suggestion for the Farmstead Tacos: the shells are VERY thin. I would recommend doubling up on the shells, similar to how they're served at many Mexican restaurants, so they hold together better and provide a little more support for the filling. The seasoned potatoes were unfortunately too salty for my taste. I would suggest using less seasoning. I'm not sure if they come pre-seasoned, but next time I'll probably request no additional seasoning to see if that makes a difference. Tip: Download their app and sign up for their email list! They offer specials, promotions, and even BOGO coupons and other deals, which can definitely help you save on future visits. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast and would definitely come back--especially for that Million Dollar Bacon breakfast sandwich!
