    Hash
    Stacy F.

The hash was large enough to share, it comes with a piece of toast and 2 eggs we had on the side. Good flavor with the goat cheese on top. The fresh juice is a great morning pick-me up I highly recommend it! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is clean and homey feeling. I will be back to try new things!

Shoutout to Perla for great service! We got here at 9am on Sunday and there was barely any wait. We enjoyed the Chimichurri steak & eggs hash, Farmhouse hash, and chocolate chip pancakes. Coffee is hot, syrup is warm, and food is solid.

Great new breakfast spot in Verrado. The ambiance is warm, modern, clean and welcoming. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. The food options are plenty and the coffee is never ending and fresh! The biscuit and gravy is really taste, the eggs cooked as requested and the breakfast potatoes were cooked amazing and tasted even better. My wife loved her avocado hash and my son's half waffle was fluffy and hit the spot. My daughter loved her yogurt with fruit and muffin. The service, food and atmosphere is what you would come to expect for a First Watch and this one doesn't disappoint I love having a great breakfast spot down the street!!

We had the chimi steak and egg hash and the kids chocolate chip pancakes. Honestly the chimi dish was amazing st twice the price. Complex and delicious. The kids portion was very large and had perfectly cooked crispy bacon. (Sub 8 dollars). 5/5 or 10/10

I entered as soon as the restaurant opened, and although there were plenty of staff on the floor, no one seemed to know who was supposed to take our table. We sat for about 14-20 minutes before even receiving menus. Three different staff members appeared confused about who was responsible for us. One person eventually brought the menus, but a different server ended up taking over and bringing the food. Unfortunately, she seemed irritated during the few brief interactions we had with her. The food itself was just okay. The "specialized" bacon was mediocre and definitely not worth the price. Our meals arrived lukewarm, and throughout the entire visit we only received two refills in their small glasses, aside from one pitcher of water. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, there was no one at the register, and I had to wait nearly 10 minutes for someone to show up. Even then, the register wasn't working properly and required two staff members and multiple reboots just to process the payment. There were only about eight tables occupied, so it wasn't even busy. Overall, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. I will not be returning, which is unfortunate because I really wanted to enjoy this place.

Mine and Hubbys first time and it didn't disappoint! He got the chimichurri steak hash and ate it all!! He Said it was that good! We shared their blueberry lemon cornbread and it was heavenly! We also got the tres leches French toast and the power wrap! Tres leches French toast was really good could only take a few bites as it was super sweet for me but the power wrap was sooooo delicious for only being 500 calories, also it was super tasty as well! Our server Angallah was attentive and great! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and we will be back! Found our new breakfast spot! Oh and their Pineapple Express was refreshing and their hot coffee was great as well! Not a bad thing we had!!

The reason we came back on May 23 was because the food and service was so good on our first visit, as we were heading to the Grand Canyon, that we resolved to stop in on our return to Phoenix later that week. Our server on our first visit was Julie, and she was friendly, attentive, and very professional. My wife ordered the taco salad with ground beef. Julie explained that the ground beef used is also used for the chili, and that it was a little spicy. My wife is sensitive to spicy food, but she decided to give it a try. It was the highlight of her meal; just the right amount of heat and not overly spicy, and rest of the salad was fresh and tasty. The cranberry walnut salad I ordered was also fresh and tasty, although the chicken was a bit dry. Our son ordered the home made biscuits and gravy, which he said were delicious. The gravy was amongst the best he's had, and it contained bits of sausage. The serving sizes were all very generous, so there was no room for pie, unfortunately. Julie invited us to come back next week and leave room for pie, so we did just that. It was a really good meal, and a great way to start our vacation, worthy of five stars. Business was relatively slow on our first visit, but, when we visited the following Saturday, the restaurant was packed, since Memorial Day is the start of the summer travel season. We were seated within 15 minutes and were promptly greeted by Dakota. She told us the kitchen was out of numerous items and gave us a few minutes to look over the menus. One of the menus was quite dirty, with what seemed like maple syrup on the plastic-covered page. This time, I ordered the rib basket appetizer, my wife ordered a chopped salad with grilled chicken, and our son ordered the Rock Springs burger. On our first visit, the food took 10-15 minutes to arrive, on this visit, it took nearly 30 minutes. The ribs were meaty, but were room temperature, and seasoning was light and unremarkable. My wife's chopped salad was stacked high and served on a regular plate. There was so much salad that it was difficult for her to eat without the salad ending up on the table and, after 15 minutes, it looked like she'd hardly made a dent in it. She said the chicken was very dry, and ended up leaving more than half or her salad uneaten. Our son had no complaints about the burger, which appeared to be cooked perfectly. We each ended up getting a slice of the Dutch crust apple pie ala mode, which was served warm with a generous scoop of high quality vanilla ice cream. Rock Springs Cafe has quite a history, and the decor really shows its Western history. However, it looks like it hasn't been refreshed in nearly 20 years, and some of the posters, plaques and other things on the wall are in rough shape. The men's bathroom are unique, furnished with urinals made from beer kegs and more license plates than you can count. Rock Springs Cafe was a great stop for us, twice, and we plan to return on our next visit to the Grand Canyon.

The first time I stopped in for a glass of wine just to check it out -- they were about to close, but the staff was so kind and welcoming. Fresh, satisfying, and exactly what I needed after being out on the trails. Prices are very reasonable too. The vibe here is what makes it special. I stood there for way longer than I should have just pressing buttons trying to figure out pricing.
