Chicken Caesar Wrap
Jerry F.

BEST chicken caesar wrap ever! I visit Buckeye annually for work and while there are plenty of food options on Watson Rd., I hadn't yet visited the community of Verrado. The place was buzzing with people, from casual golfers to larger sized families. There may have been a wait when I arrived were it not for two available seats at the bar, which I prefer anyway. Because of the Phoenix Open happening this week, there were plenty of drink specials that would make even the casual drinker happy. For food, I went with the chicken caesar wrap and, boy, was it delicious. I even got the person next to me to get it without saying a word to him, and after he was finished eating he thanked me for the non-verbal suggestion. Oh, and I wouldn't blame you if you can't finish the whole thing in one sitting either since it is a larger burrito-sized wrap. Do check them out!

We were out and about nearby and decided to stop in and check them out. I've been multiple times to other locations, but I had no idea there was one in Verrado.. We opted to sit at the outside bar.. service was pretty good and they gave us some time to look over the menu. I opted for the turkey burger and sweet potato fries. It was delicious as well as a few drinks. I liked the vibe here and parking was easy.

I thought Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers had a really solid burger. I typically prefer a thinner patty, but this one was perfect. They ask is you'd like it well done or with a pink center. Yes, it was perfectly pink and the bun was really good. You can even build your own burger with a fill-in form on the table. The restaurant gives you lots of curios to enjoy as you eat and lots of televisions all around. They even have postcards on the televisions indicating who's playing. We ate outdoors on the patio. It was a warm day outdoors, but they kept the area nice and cool. Everything was perfect; the food, the service and the ambiance. Yep, I will be back!

Came back as promised. Again great service minus the mixed drinks and the fact that I just realize they didn't add my reward number. So I was charged for a burger that should have been free. Double check your receipt. They still need to work on mix drinks but the beer was cold and just right. Stella was the beer of the month. I tried the burger this time and it was damn good. I also learned if you download their app you get rewards such as 25% off your first online order and a free burger. However she never added my reward number so I paid for the burger and never received the points. I haven't figured out if I can add the receipt later like BJs. If I can I will up the stars. We sat outside underneath a heater which made it nice.

Not my first choice, but because the line was broke I had to order something else. Poor service, I feel sorry for the staff.

I mean it's really not great food here. Either the cooks are incompetent or just don't care. Salty and sometimes burnt. Neither does the staff. Every time we come here (mostly because of the lack of options) the service and food gets worse. It's like they depend on first time visitors that don't know any better. Our burger wasn't cooked to specifications (super pink) and beer was served flowing over the glass. (This isn't a frat party.) As soon as other options show up In Buckeye, customers will go elsewhere.

Good sports bar in Buckeye at the entrance to Verrado. Friendly welcoming service but sometimes they sometimes forget to check on you when you are eating. The decor is what you would expect from a sports bar, wall to wall tv but they have a great indoor/ outdoor bar area to enjoy during the fall months. The food is decent with big pre-made patties that cooked as requested but they lack seasoning and you have to pay extra for anything other than potatoes chips. The onion rings were a little undercooked to my taste but still good. The buffalo egg rolls have good flavor but they were a little burnt. I don't drink so I can't comment on the beer but there is a huge section and I would imagine they are a great complement to the food and via virsa.

"Big Azz Nachos" (it's an appetizer; but, it can be dinner) 2 cheeseburgers, 2 cold beers can't go wrong with this place!!!

It's a big, nice, clean and fun place to be it's a sports bar where all kinds of sports are on at the same time Very friendly staff and, as their name states, "cold beers" We ordered "Big Azz Nachos", two cheeseburgers, two cold beers mouthwateringly delicious

Been here many times and each time it's fun and the food is great. They cook burgers to perfection every time. The wife usually gets the teriyaki chicken sandwich and I get a burger. I did the eating challenge when the restaurant first opened. I ate a 5 patty burger in 17 minutes. Then about a week later, someone took down the same burger in 1/2 the time :( I wish I would have never discovered the Cheeseburger fries, they're so good. Anyway, I'm glad we have one in verrado as we will continue to go there frequently.

The burgers are equally impressive: fresh, juicy, and available in a range of creative options that make choosing a favorite nearly impossible. Drinks here are another highlight. They're strong, well-crafted, and reasonably priced, which adds even more value to the experience. But what really sets this place apart is the service. Every time I've visited, the staff has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the meal feel effortless and enjoyable from start to finish. Inside, the restaurant is clean and modern, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I haven't yet had the chance to check out the rooftop, but I imagine that would be a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal or a drink. Between the quality food, thoughtfully prepared drinks, outstanding service, and inviting interior, this restaurant has quickly become one of my go-to spots for lunch. It's the kind of place where you can count on a consistently satisfying experience, whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a craving for a good burger. You know what I mean: that juicy one that…read moreyou bite into and you immediately need a napkin. The cheese isn't so thin and nonexistent it fairly evaporates into the meat. You taste it because it's good sharp cheddar or thick government cheese. The lettuce is crisp, tomatoes are meaty, and the onions are just there in their aromatic essence - I'm not going to need a breath mint to make it through this date. And, come on, how did I forget about the beef? It can't just be salt and peppered but at least slightly seasoned. Not grisly, dry and not so much meat that it blows out everything else on the bun. Oh, and the sauce. Big stars for not just being thousand island or ranch but some concoction a chef took the time to craft. And why be a scratch kitchen if you are going to slather it with mayo? I won't even order that. Because I hate mayo and I don't want to have to ask for mustard or ketchup or some kind of bottled dressing to make up for the insult of straight mayo. Enter into my life Bubba's 33. I had forgotten about that craving but my husband remembered and found this place for a Friday night date. You walk in and it is so happy. We got there in the sweet spot between super early diners and people who just got off work. I got the burger I just described. To a T. Offered in a comforting, fresh warm bun that was worthy of all it contained. And my husband immediately reached for his napkin. Served with a side of seasoned fries and I asked for ranch for dipping, because I will judge you on your ranch, too. Much respect, Bubba. You did it. As we waited, I had to use the ladies' and happened to see the kitchen on my way. Everyone seems happy to work there, like friends, and maybe that is why the service and food were both top tier. Left happy. Comforted. With a coupon for a free appetizer because the sweet host asks you if it's your first time and then a manager - or some random guy in street clothes rather than a black top like everyone else - comes over and greets you and hands you one. I need to stop writing this because it's only 8:46 am and I want a burger and I have a long day of thrifting and errands in Phoenix that precludes a journey to Bubbas. But, we'll be back! Without even reading this but knowing I am writing this, my husband said he's craving one, too. He said, "That was a goooood burger." lol

This was not a big deal until we waited 30 minutes to place our order and she still never came back to our table or even acknowledged we were there. We watched this waitress engage in a lively conversation even kneeling down by a customer and looking at pictures on his phone. What??? Are you working or socializing? After about 25 minutes (we were told 20), I asked for an update. I stood at the front desk for a full minute while staff counted money--no greeting, eye contact, or acknowledgment at all. It was super awkward. When our table was ready, she just pointed to it from across the room, walked us over, dropped the menus, and left without saying a single word. Definitely not the kind of service you expect from someone at the front greeting customers. Thankfully, our server, Maya, was much more pleasant. She greeted us, got our order right, and the food arrived in about 15 minutes. The portions were huge, hot, fresh, and delicious. It was a bit pricey--about $60 after tip for two meals and an iced tea--but that's pretty typical for a casino. Their happy hour menu looks great, and we'd return to try the large selection of appetizers for a lighter meal. We took leftovers home, but next time we'd probably order less.

I've never seen Tito poured from the gun before, but the soda was flat. He poured another. The weakest drink I've ever had and honestly, I'm not sure it was Tito's. It didn't taste right. The bartender also leaned over the bar for the gun, filled someone's water and walked to the other end of the bar. He also yelled at a customer that he found the lid to her togo cup and tossed it on the bar. She had to get up from her table to get it. So unprofessional. Maybe he was new? Lunch was so freaking good. Hubs had Thai Noodles. He's not a fan of too much spice. I warned him. He ended up picking out the Thai chilies and said it was incredible, once he got his taste buds back. I had the most unexpected and phenomenal sandwich. Blackberry jam, barbecued brisket and cheese on the thickets delicious sourdough bread. It's on the menu as grilled cheese. I will order it every time. The onion rings were giant and so crispy! Hopefully we'll have better service the next time. First impressions are very important. This one was bad.

Feel free to post my full visit from your security footage! My husband, kids, and I stopped in for an early dinner, we had never been but see the reviews online so we wanted to try it out! Getting seated, we didn't want a high top and it was the only thing available. The hostesses couldn't give us an estimate of what the wait time would be for a different table, but I'm realizing after our horrendous experience- they probably weren't trained. We ended up just taking the high top to negate any further confusion with a time estimate. It's crowded inside, and your table is crowded. The energy and atmosphere is tense and overwhelming. It's a sports bar, though- so I feel like that's consistent with any other sports bar you'd pop in to. We decided on the build your own appetizer to start, it came out room temperature. While our server was taking our order for the rest of the food (there was apparently an issue with the table next to ours and their food being taken to the incorrect table, again with poor training) the manager went out to the table next to ours to deliver food and turned to the server at my table, taking my order, and interrupted me to yell at her. He yelled at her about putting the incorrect table on the tickets and the food going to the wrong table, yelled at her the right table numbers( I guess for her to remember next time?), and then stormed off. Leaving our server, to pick up the pieces and apologize for an emotionally triggered man that should have some self control if he's leading a team or part of a company. I was absolutely disgusted with the behavior of the leadership in this establishment and the food was unremarkable. Cold, bland, and stingy is how I would describe the food we were served. There were barely any cheese curds on the Poutine, The Ole Smokey pizza was mediocre and the pasta was bland. I think this restaurant rides the coattails of being on the food network but it does not meet expectations, by far. There is a lack of training all around and that falls on leadership, only. The hostesses couldn't give a wait time, the bartender was over serving customers (I'm reporting that separately to the state), and the servers/runners aren't fully trained for the floor- but instead of teaching, training and finding a resolution- their lead will berate and belittle them to satisfy his ego and ruin your experience. I'm actually grateful the food was as mediocre as it was because I'm happy to never be back.
