We opted to sit at the outside bar.. service was pretty good and they gave us some time to look over the menu. I opted for the turkey burger and sweet potato fries. BEST chicken caesar wrap ever! I visit Buckeye annually for work and while there are plenty of food options on Watson Rd., I hadn't yet visited the community of Verrado. The place was buzzing with people, from casual golfers to larger sized families. There may have been a wait when I arrived were it not for two available seats at the bar, which I prefer anyway. Because of the Phoenix Open happening this week, there were plenty of drink specials that would make even the casual drinker happy. For food, I went with the chicken caesar wrap and, boy, was it delicious. I even got the person next to me to get it without saying a word to him, and after he was finished eating he thanked me for the non-verbal suggestion. I thought Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers had a really solid burger. I typically prefer a thinner patty, but this one was perfect. They ask is you'd like it well done or with a pink center. Yes, it was perfectly pink and the bun was really good. You can even build your own burger with a fill-in form on the table. The restaurant gives you lots of curios to enjoy as you eat and lots of televisions all around. They even have postcards on the televisions indicating who's playing. We ate outdoors on the patio. The food was lackluster in my opinion. The smokehouse burger was alright and it was definitely overcooked. My mom felt none of her food was hot. My wife had the buffalo chicken sandwich and was the only person who thought her food was good (she ordered it again the next day for takeout). Been here few times and recall it being better. Not sure what's going on at this location as I recall it being spot on with service, cleanliness and food quality. The afternoon I went with friends that live in Verrado-Buckeye, it was sub-par. The bartender appeared to be more involved with the men at the end than with three old women drink light beer and nachos. Management, whom I assumed they were, showed no remorse as we motioned for another beer and were completely ignored. Nachos were tasty though. Would I return? Not this location but others possibly. Came back as promised. Again great service minus the mixed drinks and the fact that I just realize they didn't add my reward number. So I was charged for a burger that should have been free. Double check your receipt. They still need to work on mix drinks but the beer was cold and just right. Stella was the beer of the month. I tried the burger this time and it was damn good. I also learned if you download their app you get rewards such as 25% off your first online order and a free burger. However she never added my reward number so I paid for the burger and never received the points. I haven't figured out if I can add the receipt later like BJs. If I can I will up the stars. Good sports bar in Buckeye at the entrance to Verrado. Friendly welcoming service but sometimes they sometimes forget to check on you when you are eating. The decor is what you would expect from a sports bar, wall to wall tv but they have a great indoor/ outdoor bar area to enjoy during the fall months. The food is decent with big pre-made patties that cooked as requested but they lack seasoning and you have to pay extra for anything other than potatoes chips. The onion rings were a little undercooked to my taste but still good. The buffalo egg rolls have good flavor but they were a little burnt. I don't drink so I can't comment on the beer but there is a huge section and I would imagine they are a great complement to the food and via virsa. read more

I mean it's really not great food here. Either the cooks are incompetent or just don't care. Salty and sometimes burnt. Neither does the staff. Every time we come here (mostly because of the lack of options) the service and food gets worse. It's like they depend on first time visitors that don't know any better. I'd wanted to try this place and finally got there. I was seated quickly and I liked the atmosphere. My waitress was friendly and gave me their menu which is extensive. She said she'd give some time to study it. And then I didn't see her again for several minutes. I ordered a beer and a burger and onion rings. 10 minutes later I got the beer and 15 minutes after that I got a cold overcooked burger along with cold onion rings. I've never sent an order back in my life but this was unacceptable. They did refund my money for the food. I paid for the beer and tipped my waitress the full amount of what the entire bill was. The location is available off the 10 and is family friendly. A sports bar that caters to beer drinkers and sandwich lovers. Quick service, and the burgers were prepared as ordered. Been here many times and each time it's fun and the food is great. They cook burgers to perfection every time. The wife usually gets the teriyaki chicken sandwich and I get a burger. I did the eating challenge when the restaurant first opened. I ate a 5 patty burger in 17 minutes. Then about a week later, someone took down the same burger in 1/2 the time :( I wish I would have never discovered the Cheeseburger fries, they're so good. We've been to other Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, but this was our first time here. It is newly opened so everything is fresh and clean. The menu is consistent with all the other locations, so we went with our regular burgers and wings and this location did not disappoint. Capped it off with their chocolate chip cookie in a skillet with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Everything was delicious as always and the drinks cold. Cold beers is a welcome and popular addition in Verrado. You can't beat it for great large game TVs, maybe one for every two or three tables. The burgers are very good and consistent. Buns maybe a bit bready. Totchos are also very good but I would pass on the guacamole. I get it but it's a weird pairing to me. Nachos are giant and good. Staff is friendly and service is good. I thought I was going to have to write a bad review. We walked in and had to wait for the hostess to finish her text message before she looked up to greet us. I guess it's a generational thing but, put the phone down! Once seated, the service greatly improved. Water was promptly served and drink orders taken. 3 of us had the El Coyote Margaritas. They were not too sweet and perfectly spicy. Any burger or sandwich is served with fries, tater tots (my fave, and they were crispy nuggets) Cole slaw, side salad or onion rings. My friend had the slaw and it was so tasty. Hubs had the All American burger, he loved it. I had the CB&CB burger. Cooked perfectly and I brought half home. Our friends had the Grayhawk Club. She loved it and took half home as did her husband. He had the Nashville Hot Chicken. He said it was great but could have been spicier. He loves HOT food so this means, us mere mortals can handle it. I have to say, although I don't rate restrooms very often, this one was so clean and well stocked! Ample parking and plenty of seating. This place is huge. This is for the Verado location only. My Big Azzz Nachos were delicious. The queso is top notch. Hubs ordered the prime rib dip sandwich. He said it was delicious. I also ordered a Cider on tap. It was Angry Orchard. I like dry ciders so this one is sweeter but it was still ok. I do wish there were more ciders on tap though. The music here took me to the 90's. Man, I loved it. My husband and I are new to the area and he's been wanting to try this place for awhile, so we decided today to finally go check it out. Well, for our first experience it sucks to say the service and food were underwhelming. Our waitress Kenzie was our server and seemed to be everyone else's server who were sitting outside. She checked on us ONCE and I asked for a refill and never got it.. Shocker. She seemed a bit flustered and maybe that's because she was the only server tending to people outside, other than the bartender. Our food arrived and not surprising, mediocre. It all just seems like frozen finger foods and patties served up with beer. This place gives up over-hyped Red Robin. It's just American food and beer. I shame on me for expecting more, but c'mon I asked for a refill on SODA. It was a nice day, and even though this place wasn't what we thought it was, at least we can say we tried it. I love this place, really they have great waitresses. The food is superior. The ambience is amazing. The trivia games are fun, but I notified Staff that there were no towels in the men's bathroom five times mind you times four of those times to the same greeter at the front desk. I'm wearing jeans so it's not that big of a deal to wipe my hands dry on my jeans but really after so many times advising them the men's restroom needed towels. Okay I have been avoiding this one. This location is only a couple of weeks old so I'm apprehensive about this review. Here is the deal - I will give it another try in a week or two and do another review. Now, they also had the Cardinals on and the UFC fight so again - not sure if this was the issue. Parking is insane here. People were standing in empty parking spots to hold for their friends. ‍ Okay restaurant can't control that but it sets a tone for sure. The Police came because people's cars were blocking a dirt field. A restaurant is going in next door so people were parking there. I know that's why they were called as someone we know had to go and move his car. Front desk girls were great! There were seven of us. Five meals came out wrong. My husbands (would have been 6 meals wrong) but he said he would just take it since it looked good and he did love it. How can you not love a burger with Mac & cheese on it? He said "maybe, it's good that they got it wrong" They did fix everything but because it was so busy we all ate our meals at different times. Drinks weren't refilled until asked. Food was good Sweet potato tots always make me happy. They do have a great variety of food - something for everyone. Inside and outside were extremely loud. I think it's just the kind of place that it is. The neighborhood's FB page that they moved in to are complaining about the bread carts outside and cardboard stacked into piles off of the main road. The food is above average bar food; I'm particularly fond of the buffalo chicken egg rolls. The service here is a hit and miss. Sometimes it's excellent, other times it leaves much to be desired. It's a typical bar though. Loud sports, lots of tvs, cold beer, and the waitresses, though inconsistent, are typically pretty nice. We come here for a quick bite as it's close to Buckeye.
