    Kids meal

First time trying this place out. The kids meals were a decent size, decent price. I only ordered a crème brûlée doughnut and this thing was like a meal! I highly recommend having a cup of coffee with it. It's the very best doughnut I've ever had! I Love that thing..I'm coming back for it with my husband to try.

Flights on flights on flights. Loved the flight theme!! I have never seen coffee flights before so that was impressive and for $5 they will add Baileys or khlua! I got the coffee flights with Kahlúa added. The food was delicious! So fresh. I got a veggie omelette, with red potatoes, and toast. There were many veggie options not many vegan options that I can think of though. Service was great! Very friendly, patient when the kids wanted to order for themselves. We got a nice big booth in the back. Honestly I'm obsessed and been telling everyone about this place. I told my bestie I was visiting that we are coming back when I'm back in Surprise.

Overall was really good!! Wasn't a fan of the gravy they used for the biscuits but the rest of our food was fantastic. Also the portion sizes are much bigger than we expected so you get your moneys worth. The staff was also friendly and took care of us. Would for sure come back!!

Avocado Toast on gluten free bread and fruit

I may need to only dine in here. There tends to be more concerns with take out. Everyone loves a treat, right? It's my birthday month so I thought it would be good day to get a take out. I ordered the Avocado Toast. My husband ordered the Country Omelette. Other than having only 2 mushrooms in the omelette and the gravy not tasting as it had before, he enjoyed it. I wasn't impressed with the Avocado Toast. I now know the entree is only the Avocado Toast with eggs and everything else that is listed is additional ie pico, fruit and gluten free bread. That's not clear on the online menu and wasn't communicated when I placed the order. Oh well. At pickup I mentioned that I wanted to redeem my $5 birthday treat. The cashier wasn't familiar. Long story short, the manager came over and it was too late in the process to redeem it. The manager gave me a $5 gift card. All employees on the register should know how to redeem offers and be familiar with required apps. We like Biscuits Cafe and will return. Today was just not a good experience. I may try Avocado Toast again for dine in without gluten free bread as the crust was hard.

Ordered 2 BYOB. Great value. Serving size is huge and food was very good. The flavor of the gravy on biscuits and gravy was different, good but different. Server was fantastic. Attentive, polite, friendly and helpful. Sat outdoors, although no fans, even at 7:00 am it was a little warm. Outdoor fans works make the outdoor seating perfect. Thank you for a great dining experience.

The only reason this is not 5 stars is the price. A little spendy but worth it. The service was fast and friendly and the food came out quickly. Best sourdough toast i have ever eaten. Portion sizes are not overly large but definitely decent sized. Very clean and old style café vibes. Bathrooms super clean. Definitely not a 1 and done

The food was all well cooked with good flavor. The country potatoes fried lose a lot of flavor compared to the baked country potatoes. The pancake and biscuit were fluffy. The corn beef hash was well seasoned. Good service as well and a family friendly atmosphere. I would choose Biscuits cafe over other similar restaurants. This was quality food, cooked well, with good flavor. Nothing was horrible. But nothing was something I would have to go back for.

This place keeps on getting worse, undercooked potatoes (too many times) to dirty cups, service is ok, nothing fabulous, however you will prefer a waiter instead of a waitress, the females there aren't too happy working there. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, in fact you should steer away from this place to save yourself a bad taste experience. (I had no lipstick or make up that day, at all). Oh I don't really appreciate people sweeping right next to me when I'm eating, not ideal.

Place is very inconsistent in quality. I imagine they may burn through staff as I don't commonly get the same server in the mornings. I brought my son this go round and he ordered the kids pancake, with bacon and egg. I got a pick 4 of biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, strawberries (for my son) and eggs overhard. The food comes in a few minutes, even when busy, so that is cool, but as someone who has been here probably 10 times, it always seems to be hit and miss. This time they hit on the eggs, pancakes, bacon and berries, but missed on the hasbrowns and biscuits and gravy. The hashbrowns were soggy with oil, they were hot, but almost felt like they had been sitting on. The flat top a long time in oil. The biscuits and gravy tasted bland, normally they are actually pretty good, so maybe someone messed up the white gravy. Idk. I had to add cholula and pepper and was still just ok. Our server was excellent and the restaurant was well maintained. They have newer looking menus and seem to have raised prices. They seem to be starting to price themselves out of my business though. While I do enjoy it, their 3 biscuits and gravy are 18$ now, while a different breakfast spot a few miles east is 11$. I get with inflation and such, but as breakfast spots, they are generally considered cheaper food and for the prices I don't feel you get the consistent quality for the cost.

Biscuit and Gravy Combo with sausage and loaded hashbrowns Original Breakfast with ham and pancakes
    Ashlee D.

We ate here for the first time and it was a mixed bag. The service was good and the waitress was attentive. The restaurant itself looked clean and they were pretty busy. The pancakes, loaded hashbrowns, and chicken apple sausage were all good. The ham had a little sweetness to it, but I enjoyed it. The biscuits were light and so fluffy and delicious. The items that missed for us were the red potatoes and the sausage gravy. The gravy was cold and bland. And the potatoes, while they looked seasoned, were also pretty bland. Overall, I'd eat here again.

We always come here for breakfast when we visit. Great ambience, yummy food, and the Bloody Mary is well done with perfect amount of spice.

Food and service was great. A little in the pricey side but justified. Very busy but staff was on the spot!

They do not have Wifi. We asked the hostess for the guest wife password and we were informed they do not offer guest WiFi.

Initially, a team member let us know they were closed and that the grills had been turned off. She kindly said she would check with the kitchen to confirm. While we were waiting, a hostess approached and immediately seated us. I explained that someone was double-checking whether we could even be seated since closing time was so close. There was a bit of confusion for a few minutes regarding whether grill items like pancakes and waffles were still available. We decided to keep it simple and order soup and sandwiches. But before we finalized our order, the original team member came back and let us know the grill was actually still on if we wanted breakfast after all -- which we appreciated. My husband ordered the Monterey Club with tomato basil soup and said it was amazing. I had the Ham and Gruyère Melt with chicken and rice soup. The sandwich was absolutely delicious -- perfectly toasted and flavorful. The soup, in my opinion, was a little mild, but still comforting. What truly made this a 5-star experience was the follow-up. The first young lady returned and introduced herself as Karen, the General Manager. She sincerely apologized for the earlier confusion and graciously provided us with a gift card to come back and experience the restaurant again. The way the situation was handled speaks volumes about the leadership and customer care here. We left feeling valued and appreciated -- especially considering we walked in right before closing. That level of professionalism and hospitality deserves recognition. We'll definitely be back.
