Best brunch of my long weekend in Arizona. My sis n law and I came for Friday brunch around 1230pm. No wait. Love the brunch menu. You can select 3 items for like $12 instead of getting huge portions. They also have lunch items. We had blueberry pancakes, sausage, stuffed french toast, bacon, eggs. I didn't see any alcohol drinks but they carry pepsi products. I love pepsi but most restaurants carry coke products. Food was hot and delicious especially the pancakes. Today, I went to biscuits cafe in West Sun City, AZ. Had to wait a minute or two even though it wasn't that busy to me. My husband waited at the counter while one employee folded silver ware rather than seat us. After she sent someone else to seat us. The waitress put the silver ware down and walked away. The next couple were 4 white patrons who were seated immediately and offered water or something else to drink. We were offered nothing. She put down a menu on a wet table, silverware and walked away. I have been to this restaurant chain in Glendale, AZ and Mesa, AZ. Never received this kind of service. My husband and I left. We didn't order anything and won't be back. read more

Customers work together to go in first come first serve order. I was so impressed with the young staff at the front. Especially Josian. Even though my mother-in-law told us she didn't think it was good food, the wife and I decided to give it a try' First off, it is pricey and the portions weren't skimpy but not large either. My bride had Eggs Benedict (2 eggs) which cost $18+, I had an Omelette and it was $17. Wifey's eggs came out barely warm, and my hash browns were also luke warm at best. Our server didn't come by so I flagged down a different server to tell her the Wife's food was cold, she took the plate without comment. About 10 minutes later, our server set new plate of food down and left without any comment, such as an apology. We visited the Thunderbird location and it was super busy on Veterans Day, but normal for a breakfast/brunch spot. Took about 30 min to be seated. The server was super nice and warned us the kitchen was behind. I ordered the mimosa flight and it was fantastic. Typical pineapple, cranberry, orange juice mimosas, the grapefruit was new one for me but surprisingly it was actually good. Someone across from us ordered a coffee flight which looked amazing and from the sound of it tasted the same. Our food did take FOREVER but since we were warned I was okay with the wait. When it did arrive it looked great and it takes even better. So much so I forgot to take pictures lol. I had the buttermilk pancakes, sausage, eggs and loaded hash-brown. Yummmm! We love Biscuits. Have been here 6 times now and it gets better each time. We usually get the meat lovers scramble to share. It comes with a side of pancakes or 2 biscuits and that makes the portion HUGE. We always get a cinnamon roll; it is giant and gooey. This time we ordered the French Toast flight. AMAZING! Had brunch here today. I'm gluten free so I was beyond excited to see gluten free waffles and French toast! My 2 friends and I shared the bacon flight & OMG I'm going to be dreaming of the chocolate covered strawberry one forever I had the gluten free stuffed French toast and it was everything I could have dreamed of and more. Fluffy French toast, with strawberries mixed with cream cheese. So much flavor and didn't need the syrup provided. My friends got the ham tacos and the avocado Benedict. Both enjoyed their meals. 2 of us had the chocolate coffee & it was good. Our other person had water but wasn't offered a refill until the check was brought over. Our waitress dropped the food off then disappeared. We waited for awhile to get our check. Overall it was great: busy but that's to be expected on a Saturday for brunch. Yikes. First when we got to the restaurant, they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. So we waited outside with our 10 month old and about 20 minutes later realized that people who came after us were getting called in before we were. I went inside and asked the waitress, and she told me that they accidentally seated about 6 other people before us. We finally sat down. The room in the back was incredibly hot. Definitely like a greenhouse. A nice cold glass of water sounded amazing at that point. That took ten minutes to order and another 10 to get to us. My fiancée ordered the mimosas which came out in lightning speed. The cup of fruit I ordered for my hangry son? That took 30 minutes. Our food arrived and I would liken it to a bad iHOP. The red potatoes were not red. The pancakes were dry. The bacon was more like jerky and the French fries tasted like they were dug out of the freezer and microwaved. Everything was cold which leads me to believe that the food was ready long before it was ever served to us or they don't make anything from scratch here. It was outright nasty and for $70 we could have had slightly better food at half the price at Dennys. read more
