I love coming to Biscuits Cafe. I have no problems with the food and the service. The only problem I have is when you come in to check in for a wait, it seems like almost all the time, our phone number is put in incorrectly. My recent experience, we literally waited 30 minutes and when we went to check where we fell in the waitlist, they told us that they texted us. It would be helpful if the hostess would repeat the numbers back or letting us know if we received a confirmation on phones. read more

Seat had syrup all over it and didn't realize it until I sat it in, asked for over medium eggs and got over easy, asked for no butter on my waffle and it was covered it in, and the guy serving at the hot line didn't change his gloves once when handling food. I took a friend here for breakfast today (Saturday) . it was pretty busy about 9:30 AM, but we still got a booth right away. Our waitress was friendly. I ordered basic scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes. My friend ordered something eggs scramble with avocado? Neither one of us were particularly thrilled with our meals. I was very disappointed in the Redskin potatoes, they tasted like they had been boiled several days ago, left in the walk-in cooler, uncovered and barely warmed up. I did not eat them. One bite was enough for me. The eggs did not taste like scrambled eggs. They tasted like they were flavored with something salty? The bacon was very good and there were four pieces, the portions are huge, I ate two pieces and took two pieces home with a biscuit and the best part of the meal was the raspberry/strawberry jelly that is made offsite. It is delicious. I've lived on this side of the valley for two years now and wanted to try this restaurant so now I have.... but I won't go back. It was a disappointment. We visited this place for brunch, everything was delicious, you do have to wait a little to be seated but believe me it's worth the wait, the French toast is very delicious and the red potato's that come with the biscuit plate are one of the best I have tried, would definitely go back when visiting Arizona! read more

Did not even stay to finish the food. The host was very rude, the waiter was worse and the food took over 45 minutes and was the order was completely wrong. They gave me a bill for the two sodas we had (which is all we had after an hour of being there with no refills) and when we walked away she told the other waiter "great tippers". Hard pass on ever coming back here. We used to order all our breakfasts here for our dealership for our early crew and after this first in person visit we stopped ever doing it from here. I was pleasantly surprised at this location! Very clean and incredibly fast service. I swear it was 5 minutes and then the food was delivered to our table! Portion sizes were excellent. Did the BYO breakfast and it was well worth the money. Also the cinnamon roll was so soft and the cream cheese frosting was nice and melty. Wow!!!!!! What a great place to enjoy breakfast. The menu is a bit overwhelming as there are a ton of choices. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I ordered Chicken and Waffle Benedict, while my guest ordered a traditional pancakes and eggs meal. We were both satisfied with our meals, orange juice and service. The coffee, really wasn't that good; it was watered down and not very tasteful. After finishing my first cup, I asked for another from a fresh pot and was equally unhappy. As for the restaurant during this hard time, it is definitely open for business. It's staff are diligently practicing high levels of hygiene; scrubbing top and bottom of table, and chairs; wearing mask and gloves; accepting touch less cc payments; and using disposable menus. We wanted to try Biscuits because my husband is from the south and knows good biscuits and gravy! Firstly, Biscuits is extremely expensive for breakfast or lunch. Most menu items are $14.50. The biscuits were doughy and the gravy tasteless, sausage patties dry. I ordered two eggs over medium and red potatoes. It was obvious that the cook didn't know what over medium means. I want to start this review by thanking my friend Jessica S (also a Yelper) for telling me Biscuits has gluten free waffles and French toast! I used to eat at Biscuits before I found out about my wheat allergy and haven't been there since (4 years). I had French toast today for the first time in years and it was AMAZING! Life changing. Delicious! My fiancé had the chocolate chip pancakes and he really liked them - he said they were very rich and super filling. Big pancakes! Their coffee is amazing- I love that the mugs are so big and they stay hot. Same with the food - it stays hot the entire time you're eating which is great. Now that I know they have gluten free options, we will definitely be back! There was a long wait but we both agreed it was well worth it. I ordered a breakfast burrito and explicitly asked for certain ingredients to not be included in my food. I asked for no beans, no bell peppers, no salsa, and no sour cream. I also asked for my hash browns to be included inside the burrito. When I checked my burrito, it still had beans and bell peppers inside. They gave me salsa and sour cream anyways. This place is busy! The wait is like twenty five minutes during brunch time. And after we ordered our meals, we waited at least another twenty to thirty minutes to receive the food. Make sure have good conversations with your party because to make up the time for the wait! I ordered my fave dish the Chicken Fried Steak and it was delish! The portions are generous, it came with red potatoes, eggs and biscuits. At my surprise, the dish delivered to me warm. Furthermore, it was bad timing when we dined during the New Year. First time at this Biscuits Cafe. Ive been to the one in Chandler before, with good results. I arrived at 10:15 on a Friday and it was about half full. I was seated right away and my server (Maria) greeted me warmly within 2 mins. I ordered from the 'Keep it Simple' section. You pick three items from the 20-25 choices. I got a biscuit with gravy, two sausage links and hash browns for $10 plus tax and tip. My meal arrived in 3 mins. The biscuit was small but fluffy and had just enough gravy but the gravy was rather bland. Tabasco fixed that. The sausages were plump and flavorful but I think they'd been sitting for a while because I had to chase them around the plate, since my knife AND fork had trouble piercing them. The browns were crispy/fluffy and very plentiful. All of the components were obviously precooked, since they arrived so quickly. Not my worst breakfast but not the best either. read more

The food was good. The charges I believe border on fraudulent. An 18% tip of $22.13 was listed at the bottom of our receipt which was correct for our bill pre-tax. When we got the receipt the tip showed to be $24.24. Biscuits added the tax before adding the tip increasing the bill more than $2.00. This is totally misleading and wrong. Introducing THE BEAST. Biscuits really stepping up their eggs Benedict game. Filled with bacon, egg, avocado, spinach and tomato. There's even a grilled English muffin under that yummy goodness. I thought since it's been quite a while since I updated my review here today would be a good time for it. Our last visit was less than perfect and service non existent, but after giving Biscuits another try today they came through big time. Wonderful server, smiling, attentive, quick. I ordered the BEAST Benedict and man it looked beautiful and tasted AMAZING! Everything cooked to perfection. Hash browns were crisp, but not burnt. First time at Biscuit Cafe was delicious! We've been wanting to give it a try it for a few months now and today was that day. My daughter and I had biscuits and gravy with bacon. My son in-law had a French toast cinnamon roll and I had a piece of it and oh wow... that was sooo good!!! I will say it's a must have, it melts in your mouth!! This was my second time here and I was impressed within this visit. I took my cousins here because she was craving French toast and they were visiting from California. I told her they were visiting and she greeted us with warm smiles. She even had a small conversation about an regular elderly couple that comes in. We were saying how cute they were!
