Ordered two chef salads . 18.00 or so each and I have to say the worst I've ever eaten. Lettuce wasn't fresh, tomatoes mushy, turkey and ham very sub par, and red onions size of hamburger ones. This had nothing else no hard boiled eggs, or beats or cheese. It states shredded cheese but literally none but a few pieces. Very poor quality and disappointing. Never again! Service was great. Maria did a great job. My wife and i were looking for Vegan breakfast option and discovered Biscuits Cafe. It was recommended by my wifes neice. She said portions were big. 2 vegan options on the menu. My wife ordered the Frech Toast and I ordered the Breakfast burrito. After watching others getting there food, the anitipation was building. We recieved our food. My wifes French toast was good. When I received my Breakfast Burrito, I was very "UNDER-WELMed" For the price tag, I actually expected to be wowed. There was a side of hashbrowns I started with 1st, which was cold. The Breakfast burrito stated it had Vegan Eggs, peppers, onion, tomato, vegan chorizo sausage, refried beans and vegan cheese. It appeared that it was put into a blender and then poured into a tortilla. I think I only found slivers of bell pepper at the end of the burrito. I took some guess from out of town there Sunday. We arrived at 12 and checked in. We were waiting for 45 minutes and went inside to find out why. We were told to come in our table was ready. The food was so tasty here. I had the Build Your Own. The portions were big so I could only finish one biscuit with butter and homemade strawberry preserves. The eggs and cheese and turkey bacon were good but next time I'm getting sausage as my hubby's pancakes, eggs, sausage links and hash browns were yummy. Yikes. First when we got to the restaurant, they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. So we waited outside with our 10 month old and about 20 minutes later realized that people who came after us were getting called in before we were. I went inside and asked the waitress, and she told me that they accidentally seated about 6 other people before us. We finally sat down. The room in the back was incredibly hot. Definitely like a greenhouse. A nice cold glass of water sounded amazing at that point. That took ten minutes to order and another 10 to get to us. My fiancée ordered the mimosas which came out in lightning speed. The cup of fruit I ordered for my hangry son? That took 30 minutes. Our food arrived and I would liken it to a bad iHOP. The red potatoes were not red. The pancakes were dry. The bacon was more like jerky and the French fries tasted like they were dug out of the freezer and microwaved. Everything was cold which leads me to believe that the food was ready long before it was ever served to us or they don't make anything from scratch here. The food today was disgusting, worst food I've had in a long time. The biscuits smelt and tasted like Bisquick and the gravy had little lumps in it and tasted milk with li lumps. I am a little conflicted about this review...Our first visit was great but our 2nd visit was no where near good. The positive...love the decor, service is quick and we live the decor. I love coming to Biscuits Cafe. I have no problems with the food and the service. The only problem I have is when you come in to check in for a wait, it seems like almost all the time, our phone number is put in incorrectly. My recent experience, we literally waited 30 minutes and when we went to check where we fell in the waitlist, they told us that they texted us. Seat had syrup all over it and didn't realize it until I sat it in, asked for over medium eggs and got over easy, asked for no butter on my waffle and it was covered it in, and the guy serving at the hot line didn't change his gloves once when handling food. Wow!!!!!! What a great place to enjoy breakfast. The menu is a bit overwhelming as there are a ton of choices. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I ordered Chicken and Waffle Benedict, while my guest ordered a traditional pancakes and eggs meal. We were both satisfied with our meals, orange juice and service. The coffee, really wasn't that good; it was watered down and not very tasteful. After finishing my first cup, I asked for another from a fresh pot and was equally unhappy. As for the restaurant during this hard time, it is definitely open for business. It's staff are diligently practicing high levels of hygiene; scrubbing top and bottom of table, and chairs; wearing mask and gloves; accepting touch less cc payments; and using disposable menus. I used to eat at Biscuits before I found out about my wheat allergy and haven't been there since (4 years). I had French toast today for the first time in years and it was AMAZING! Life changing. Delicious! My fiancé had the chocolate chip pancakes and he really liked them - he said they were very rich and super filling. Big pancakes! Their coffee is amazing- I love that the mugs are so big and they stay hot. Same with the food - it stays hot the entire time you're eating which is great. Now that I know they have gluten free options, we will definitely be back! There was a long wait but we both agreed it was well worth it. I ordered a breakfast burrito and explicitly asked for certain ingredients to not be included in my food. I asked for no beans, no bell peppers, no salsa, and no sour cream. The bacon was very good and there were four pieces, the portions are huge, I ate two pieces and took two pieces home with a biscuit and the best part of the meal was the raspberry/strawberry jelly that is made offsite. First time at this Biscuits Cafe. Ive been to the one in Chandler before, with good results. I arrived at 10:15 on a Friday and it was about half full. I was seated right away and my server (Maria) greeted me warmly within 2 mins. I ordered from the 'Keep it Simple' section. You pick three items from the 20-25 choices. I got a biscuit with gravy, two sausage links and hash browns for $10 plus tax and tip. My meal arrived in 3 mins. The biscuit was small but fluffy and had just enough gravy but the gravy was rather bland. Tabasco fixed that. The sausages were plump and flavorful but I think they'd been sitting for a while because I had to chase them around the plate, since my knife AND fork had trouble piercing them. The browns were crispy/fluffy and very plentiful. All of the components were obviously precooked, since they arrived so quickly. Not my worst breakfast but not the best either. read more

Introducing THE BEAST. Biscuits really stepping up their eggs Benedict game. Filled with bacon, egg, avocado, spinach and tomato. There's even a grilled English muffin under that yummy goodness. I thought since it's been quite a while since I updated my review here today would be a good time for it. Our last visit was less than perfect and service non existent, but after giving Biscuits another try today they came through big time. Wonderful server, smiling, attentive, quick. I ordered the BEAST Benedict and man it looked beautiful and tasted AMAZING! Everything cooked to perfection. Hash browns were crisp, but not burnt.
