Outstanding breakfast! Another excellent Yelp recommendation as well as Triple D. I was not disappointed by this cute clean hip place in Goodyear AZ. The dining area is pretty good size but feels open and not too cramped although it was a very busy full house on a Sunday morning. I'm a simple breakfast guy and the eggs were good and homemade toast excellent and sausage was top notch tasty. The potatoes O'Brien are awesome and I suggest asking for extra crispy. The reviews for this place were up and down, but we decided to try it. At the end of the day if you'll think you'll like it, give it a try. I ordered the cfs and eggs with tater tots. The breading is very light and flaky decently seasoned. I'd say if you like "crispy" cfs ask for the gravy on the side, because the gravy took must of the crunch away and because the breading was so light made it more soggy. But overall good meal, maybe a tiny bit over priced because of guy fiery. But definitely a solid breakfast option. Omelets were a good sized portion, and came with toast and home made jam. I'd probably get the omelet if we came back, that has like bacon ham , like an all meat pig omelet. Our waitress was nice and friendly and read back our orders to us. We went to Over Easy as a last stop before leaving Phoenix back to CA. It was busy on a Monday morning. There was a 5-20 min wait depending on whether you sat outside or inside. Parking was busy, and although I knew where the restaurant was from the outside, finding the actual entrance was confusing because the painted overlay on the door blends in. Even though the place was crowded, there was only one hostess working and there didn't seem to be any urgency in greeting guests. Several members of the wait staff made eye contact with me but then looked away without acknowledging me or other guests waiting. Ambiance was bright. I could see how people wanted to sit inside but there are outside booths as well. We had a cute and sweet waitress. She explained the menu very well and shared this restaurant was also featured on Guy Fieris show. Food was delicious and hearty. I ordered the Monte Cristo which was amazing!! Well I wish I was coming to bring you all a good review but thats not the case today. My family and I dropped in for breakfast this past weekend before our flight back to California. Its been a few years since I've been to Over Easy so I was excited to find out that they opened this location on the West Side. However, this location is not like the Phoenix location. The restaurant was nice inside but the bathrooms didn't have any soap in them. Our waitress was nice and accommodating so she gets respect. Our food came out and thats when it all went down hill, it looked good but lacked flavor and it was cold. I was looking forward to the Biscuits and Gravy but it didn't hit the mark at all. My sisters potatoes were cold to the touch and her burrito was pretty dry. We did enjoy there special cocktails but thats about it. Next time im in town I'll be going to Phoenix. read more

My sister and I visited this location on Tuesday, November 11th, shortly before 10:30 AM. There was a short wait, so we added our names and phone number to the waitlist and waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. We chose to sit outside since it was the first available seating, and the patio was nicely shaded. The only downside was the flies that started coming around once our food arrived. A helpful suggestion would be to place small fans on the outdoor tables on the patio to help keep the flies away & for some seats when waiting in the front of the store. The hostess was very kind and recommended the Wolf Pack breakfast meal. Our server, Natasha, was wonderful--she was covering the entire patio by herself and still took the time to go through the menu page by page, sharing her favorite items and offering helpful suggestions and additions to our order. Menu prices generally start around $13 and up, depending on what you choose. We both ordered the country fried steak with scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, and a side of lemon ricotta pancake and a jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Overall, the food was good. The potatoes could've been cooked a bit longer, and my biscuit was overcooked, so I requested a replacement. The new biscuit was perfect and came with their homemade jam, which I didn't receive with the first one. You can make a reservation online if available, or simply show up, add your name to the list, and you'll receive a text when your table is ready. This location is conveniently located in the Goodyear area, close to other restaurants, parks, the library, and just down the street from Shake Shack, Harkins, Trader Joe's, and more. I was so impressed by this place, the food was delicious!! Probably the best chilaquiles I have ever had from a restaurant. The Spritzy was great with a nice kick and though it is not pictured, the brunch mule was my favorite drink. We got some Golden Waffle Dogs for a sweet and savory treat and they were perfect. Wow! I love this place. It is a small restaurant but I love the booth, they seat 6 comfortably. I also like the high chairs, they are new and clean. We were sat as soon as we arrived and our waitress was well spoken and knew the menu and its substations like the back of her hand. I had the breakfast burrito and my husband had the monte cristo. Quick FACTS: First timer.. upon entry I am greeted by a young woman who was welcoming. My other party and I was seated within 3 minutes of arriving. I was told, I just missed the morning rush. The greeter mentioned high time is at opening until approx 9am. Weekends are super crowded. This establishment decor is very welcoming. The bright yellow and white colors offer a positive trendy atmosphere. The sound decible can be quite medium/loud so kids would not disturb. Seating is close so you can also hear many other personal conversations around you. This location offers both Inside and Outside Dining. The outdoor dining has umbrellas to block the sun, seating is metal so it could get hot. Unfortunately the outdoor seating cushions were quite filthy and a few tables had food particles, plus flies were a distraction even before being seated - so that was a turning point to head back inside instead. A bar with pull up seating is also available and flies avoid the area as there is a large flow of air that continually flows above your head (same as when you enter a grocery store). If eating at the bar, your food may become cold fast! Once seated a waitress came and took my and my companions orders. We ordered Immunity Shots which were tasty and seemingly fresh as sediment had not got the bottom yet. (If any) The menu (I added images to my yelp review) was VERY IMPRESSIVE! Probably the best I have seen as the options seem endless! The menu contained vegetarian options as well as GF options plus for the carnivores had plenty to choose from. The bar looked fully stocked with alcohol and the works so if you like getting tipsy, this is a good spot to hang out. Service was good and the food was filling. Prices are comparable to other brunch restaurants and there are variable OVER EASY locations and overall, aside from the uncleanliness of the outdoor area; this place is awesome for any occasion if you love brunch. 1 star due to the dirty outdoor seating area as well as the few workers to arrive at our table over and over again disturbing our conversations. Several of the dishes were featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives which we had no idea til we sat down. The menu does highlight these so we ordered from that section. Our waitress was great and helpful. She was very attentive. We ordered the Banana Nut French Toast and the Chicken Fried Steak. The Banana Nut French Toast does not come with anything else - you would have to order eggs, bacon, sausage on the side if you would like it. It was very sweet but very good - didn't even need syrup! The Chicken Fried Steak was decent - the breading was thick, which made it dry. There wasn't enough gravy so we ended up ordering a side dish of gravy, but I think the hash browns were very good. But since it was only me, a host by the name of MarkAnthony said I could sit at the bar and he sees a seat. I sat at the bar. This was actually perfect. I got his name on the way out. I forgot my bottle of water in the car in the insulated bag because it's July in Arizona. I ordered an Iced Chai Latte because I'm partial to just any water. It was good. If I order it again I'll ask for light ice. Jeannette gave her favorites when I asked for suggestions. I wanted more keto friendly and when I mentioned what I was liking at, I went with her recommendation. I ordered the $13 two egg breakfast, it came with 1 piece of sourdough toast that tasted day old, two strips of bacon, and COLD tater tots that was replaced, the eggs were perfect. The customer service here is lacking, perhaps because everyone looked to be just out of high school, the food which we didn't finish was not worth the price paid. My kids liked it so we came in two consecutive days while we were in AZ. The first day, the waitress messed up my boyfriend's order, brought him the chicken fried steak instead of the chicken & waffle he ordered. Unfortunately, they were not hitting on all 8 cylinders this morning. I realize that they had just opened and hope that the kinks will be quickly worked out quickly. We arrived at about 10:30AM on a drizzly, windy and cold day. We were told that the wait would be about 40 minutes, so we put our name in. Unfortunately. the front door was broken and would remain open every time someone would enter or exit. It took about 15 pounds of force to pull it shut. Because people inside were freezing cold, I stood there for my 40 wait continuously pulling the door shut. I must have pulled it shut 100 or more times (no exaggeration). The manager should have posted a sign on the front door asking people to enter in the rear or posted an employee up front to close it. It was so chilly, no one wanted to be seated anywhere near the front. My 40 minute wait, stretched into over an hour before we were finally seated, you guessed it, in the section near the front door. Eventually the wait became 70 minutes, with most guests turning around an leaving. Once seated, somehow we were overlooked and not assigned a server. The manager finally came by to ask if we had been served. I'm glad that she caught that. When our waitress did arrive, she was friendly and attentive even though the place was packed and chaotic with so many people waiting to be seated. The menu was packed with mostly breakfast related dishes. There was plenty to choose from with something for everyone. I decided on the As Seen on TV, Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. While not bad, I felt it didn't live up to the hype. Also the eggs were served on top of my chicken fried steak and gravy. I would have preferred them on the side. My wife had the rolled tacos. She thought they were very good, and our guest had the As Seen on TV, Banana Nut French toast, which I admit looked delicious! Once we ordered the food did come out lightning fast, which at that point really appreciated. Our experience would have been different if it weren't so cold with a broken door and there wasn't such a long wait. I wish something had been done about the wide oped door, but it was repeated left it open with no action by the managers or employees. Also, a simple thank you would have been nice after pulling it shut every 10 seconds for a full hour. Nothing was ever said. My friends and I live close to GSQ so we were looking forward to checking out Over Easy when it opened a few weeks ago. We went on a Thursday morning for breakfast. It was busy but we were seated immediately on the patio. It's north facing so you can enjoy the weather without sitting directly in the sun if you want. Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and fresh. Nice array of table size options depending on group size. For drinks we started with the Over Easy Iced coffees and Iced Chai Latte. The drinks were okay; their coffee wasn't my favorite. Could have benefited from some more sweetener. For food we started with an order of the Blueberry Cornbread. It was okay, the blueberry compote was a little bitter. For mains we got the Banana Nut French Toast, Chicken Fried Steak, and the Biscuits & Gravy with Chicken Sausage. We all enjoyed what we ordered. No complaints around the table. My Bf said the biscuits and gravy were some of the best he's ever had. The only mishap was when the food runner accidentally dropped my plate while setting it down, causing half my tots to go flying off the plate. What a fun atmosphere. This location is brand new and pretty busy but this place is so yummy it will always be busy just be prepared. Service was great. We sat outside under a heater. Jessica was our waitress and did a great job of staying on top of us. I asked for no sugar and it did come out with something sticky that was sweet on it. There is no description on the menu what the waffle comes with so I'm not sure what it was. Honey maybe? I do not sweeten my pancakes or waffles so the fruit was enough so hubby ate the sweet spots. I love that there is an option for protein pancakes and a protein waffle!!!! I'm a pretty healthy eater and we love eating breakfast out and it's hard for me to find something I could eat, so this was amazing! So many options on top of all of yummy naughty looking items Hubby had the Breakfast Burrito and loved it. Our friend did the Eggs Benedict and he loved it - even though he was eye balling someone's Chicken and Waffles We also ordered non alcoholic spicy Bloody Mary. The flavor for the green salsa on the taquitos was good, for me personally though had I known the dish is layered, like the eggs salsa and a cream sauce are over the taquitos, it made the eggs really wet, which I didn't care for. I came here with a bunch of coworkers thankfully they got us a table really fast. The server was friendly and our food came really fast. Everyone ordered something different. Didn't really get any refills and I got their traditional Benedict and it tasted different. Me and a coworker both got the same thing and we both noticed something was off. I'm not sure if it was the ham being overly salted but was a bit disappointed. Other than this, I will definitely come back again. Just maybe try something different. read more

My family and i went here for lunch and we sat for about 20 minutes before leaving because no server came up to us at all. There were people seated at least 10 minutes after us who were able to place their orders right away. Now, I would understand if it was busy, but all the tables in our section but ours and the table that was sat after us were pretty much finishing up or in the middle of eating. I made eye contact with at least 3 of the main servers, so they knew we were there, but Idk maybe that table wasn't assigned or miscommunication, but it was disappointing that not one of them came up to ask if we have been helped. I was looking for a new breakfast spot in my area when I found Over Easy on Yelp. I decided to check it out before I ran some errands. I was unable to take photos of the inside as they were pretty busy. The inside matches the name and theme, very bright and yellow. Since it was my first time there I wasn't certain what to order. My server was helpful by pointing out the As Seen on TV section. I decided to order the cajun hash. It was good and I devoured the entire bowl. I typically only eat half of a hash bowl because the potatoes are so big. But the cajun hash at Over Easy has bite size potatoes. The potatoes where small enough to feel like I was eating something of substance but not overwhelming. I typically order a caramel latte wherever I go, but they didn't have it on the menu. They did have an iced Chai latte which tasted delicious. I also had orange juice which was freshly squeezed. I would return to check out the rest of the menu. read more
