Last minute dinner plans why not Cheddars! I can always count on a good quality of food and drinks to fill me up and they definitely have it. Good home style cooking! It was a Monday evening and we chose seating on the bar side at a booth. Our waitress quick and friendly made our time there seamless.

Fall-Off-The-Plate Baby Back Ribs (full rack)

I'm back...with family this time. Today is busier than Friday but the wait wasn't long at all. Tracy is an excellent server. She's engaging, knows the best selections and gives good suggestions. The Croissant rolls are too yummy. The Wisconsin Cheese Bites are a good choice for an appetizer. I selected the Fall-Off-The-Plate Baby Back Ribs with Red Beans & Rice and Green Beans as my sides. The taste of the green beans grew on me. A full rack is definitely two meals. The other orders were Steak & Chicken Tenders with Red Beans & Rice and French Fries, Fish & Shrimp with double Red Beans & Rice and Shrimp Alfredo. The Fish & Shrimp was enough for one meal. Everyone else had a takeout. The restroom was in good shape again. It was an overall good dine in experience!

Corn meal breaded white fish

Ok, I don't know about these reviews here. I personally came with a family group and had a great time. Our server was by far the best I've had in a long time. I was shocked how many times he not only check on us, but the fact he carried all six entrees with him. He was on top of everything, funny, and just great at his job. Especially with how busy the night was. I was not expecting the croissants in the beginning. Like who decided to make some of the most complicated breads? They were light, fluffy, buttery, and sweet. Kind of reminded me of the taste of sweet bread with a crisp from the layers. I think it's genius of them to have this as their bread identity. I ordered the corn meal crusted white fish with red beans & rice and broccoli. It was a hefty plate and I definitely had leftovers. I loved the steamed broccoli and it had garlic sauteed with it. The red beans & rice was good, but just a little too salty for me. Otherwise I loved it all. This was a great family gathering restaurant, date night, or just because meal.

New Orleans Pasta

Ate here at 5pm on Saturday and we were seated immediately. Their honey butter croissants are sooooo good. We also had the New Orleans pasta and the 8 oz sirloin steak. I'm knocking down one star just because the steak was closer to well done than the medium well we ordered. But otherwise, our food was good and the service was excellent.

I brought my dad here to try a different restaurant other than Black Bear Diner. He's a creature of habit and likes what he likes. As long as it's American comfort food I knew he'd find something he would like. I thought he would order the chicken strips and fries but he surprised me and ordered meatloaf. I tried it and thought it was just ok. He liked and enjoyed it so that's all that matters. I ordered the country fried chicken with country gravy. The chicken was crispy and juicy. It was really good. The gravy and mashed potatoes were delicious, the green beans could've been seasoned they were kind of bland. There was a piece of Texas toast under the chicken which I thought was unnecessary. Their croissants are melt in your mouth yummy! Casual and clean and it wasn't too busy when we arrived. It got a little busier before we left. The food took quite a while to come out. Not sure if that's normal or not but our waitress was super nice and attentive. Overall it was a good experience and my dad enjoyed it.

Loved my server, she was so kind! The food was so good. The environment where i was was calming but intimate:)

The food is not the best but not the worst either. We tried the cheese curds and spinach dip as an appetizer which were great. For our entrees we had the BBQ ribs with broccoli casserole and corn, as well as the chicken pot pie. To be honest...Marie callenders frozen chicken pot pie is far more flavorful than cheddars. The ribs were ok, the flavor was great and the price was great but they were rather dry. Overall our experience was great because our server Ethan made it quite an enjoyable experience for us, as quality service is hard to come by nowadays. This probably isn't a place that I would ever come back to or recommend to a friend. It's very average.

Chicken Tender Platter (No. 8 Special)

First time here. Sunday evening, not too long of a wait. Was seated and our waiter was Andrew. Excellent service, very attentive and got our orders correct. We ordered the trio appetizer, spinach dip, chicken tenders and queso dip with chips and salsa. They were all good especially the spinach dip. Main course, there was 6 of us, we ordered: grilled t bone steak with loaded baked potato & broccoli cheddar rice casserole, grilled 8oz sirloin with fries, rice & beans, chicken tender platter with ranch dipping sauce, fries and broccoli cheddar casserole, chicken tender platter with delicious hot honey dipping sauce, loaded baked potato & corn, grilled shrimp alfredo with loaded baked potato & steamed broccoli, and chicken fried steak with loaded baked potato & broccoli cheddar rice. Steaks were cooked perfectly as requested- they were juicy, tasty & tender. Chicken tenders were crispy, all sides were good. Overall, the food was delicious. We had great service, good food and a nice, enjoyable environment. The restaurant was busy but staff were quick to clean tables and pick up. Would definitely return.

I was finally able to make it here and try some of the food , We had quite a large party and I would say the wait time was pretty good for showing up last minute they were able to get us in pretty quick. We were able to get are drinks and appetizers pretty quick. For apps we got the Onion Rings which were a good quantity but a little soggy for me I definitely prefer the beer battered type, We also got the Wisconsin Cheese bites and they were really good and came with a good amount. Now for the entrees I ended up getting the Monte Cristo which was good but different since it is like fair food and fried in batter but had really good flavor. We also got the Lemon pepper chicken with vegetables and I will say the chicken was amazing such good flavor and so juicy. I also forgot the complimentary croissants which were so so good definitely a nice addition upon arriving. We also got the Top Sirloin steak and ribs platter which my daughter said was so good and definitely a really good portion of food , needless to say there was plenty left to take home. For the place being pretty busy it wasn't loud which was nice and they have a nice big fish tank once you walk in and seating by the door if you have to wait to be seated.

Creamy Garlic Tilapia & Shrimp
Angie C.

We came in early evening on a Saturday and got a table right away! The hostess and waitress were very attentive and kind, giving us their full attention every time. I ordered creamy garlic tilapia and shrimp with seasoned rice and Cole slaw. It was a great combo!! The sauce paired the shrimp very well and the tilapia was crispy to the bite. The rice was a bit too salty in my opinion, but it is seasoned rice, so maybe that's normal. The ambiance is similar to your neighborhood restaurant chains. However, it does feel newer and cleaner. Nice for a casual dinner.

Tough rubbery country fried chicken.

They don't serve Mac N Cheese, but they have a good kid's menu. My family likes this place a lot. The customer service is great at the Goodyear location, and every meal we have had there has been delicious. This is their menu link.… Read more

The management team cares that you're happy Juliette and John alone make the place worth the stopping everyone else is amazing too IN SEASON they have live crawfish and you can tell. The regulars make it worth coming back as they're wholesome so the atmosphere alone is wonderful! Now we're hungry right so the live crawfish seasoning and heat options don't miss. I would say the "hot" for Cajun tastebuds would be mild it's always nice to know what fits they're oysters are purged and delicious as far as I can tell it's an all year option. Prices here are fair as the quality is good. Heard one person mention the sauce is good at pier 88 but everything else is better here...I'd take cooked to perfection than a little better sauce. You should too traveling or native. I'd post a pic of the crawfish (live it's in season) but they were perfectly cooked amazing flavor and I smashed the whole pound before I thought this place deserved the atta boy!

A couple of weeks ago, I had a craving for a good burger. You know what I mean: that juicy one that…read moreyou bite into and you immediately need a napkin. The cheese isn't so thin and nonexistent it fairly evaporates into the meat. You taste it because it's good sharp cheddar or thick government cheese. The lettuce is crisp, tomatoes are meaty, and the onions are just there in their aromatic essence - I'm not going to need a breath mint to make it through this date. And, come on, how did I forget about the beef? It can't just be salt and peppered but at least slightly seasoned. Not grisly, dry and not so much meat that it blows out everything else on the bun. Oh, and the sauce. Big stars for not just being thousand island or ranch but some concoction a chef took the time to craft. And why be a scratch kitchen if you are going to slather it with mayo? I won't even order that. Because I hate mayo and I don't want to have to ask for mustard or ketchup or some kind of bottled dressing to make up for the insult of straight mayo. Enter into my life Bubba's 33. I had forgotten about that craving but my husband remembered and found this place for a Friday night date. You walk in and it is so happy. We got there in the sweet spot between super early diners and people who just got off work. I got the burger I just described. To a T. Offered in a comforting, fresh warm bun that was worthy of all it contained. And my husband immediately reached for his napkin. Served with a side of seasoned fries and I asked for ranch for dipping, because I will judge you on your ranch, too. Much respect, Bubba. You did it. As we waited, I had to use the ladies' and happened to see the kitchen on my way. Everyone seems happy to work there, like friends, and maybe that is why the service and food were both top tier. Left happy. Comforted. With a coupon for a free appetizer because the sweet host asks you if it's your first time and then a manager - or some random guy in street clothes rather than a black top like everyone else - comes over and greets you and hands you one. I need to stop writing this because it's only 8:46 am and I want a burger and I have a long day of thrifting and errands in Phoenix that precludes a journey to Bubbas. But, we'll be back! Without even reading this but knowing I am writing this, my husband said he's craving one, too. He said, "That was a goooood burger." lol
