1/5 Our visit to Over Easy in Goodyear was an unmitigated disaster, a masterclass in how to ruin a meal and alienate customers. What started with a glimmer of promise quickly spiraled into a nightmare of poor food, worse service, and an ambiance plagued by pests. Our server, Leidy, greeted us with a superficial charm, and the morning bustle of the restaurant briefly fooled us into expecting a decent experience. That hope was obliterated the moment our food arrived, and the environment only made it worse. My girlfriend ordered the Eggs Benedict, a dish we've savored countless times at other restaurants, always delighting in the rich, buttery perfection of a true hollandaise sauce. What landed on our table was an insult. The so called hollandaise had the texture and tang of sour cream, but far worse, it carried a rancid, sour taste that screamed spoiled. I tried it myself and nearly retched, it was unmistakably off, like food gone bad days ago. To make matters even more infuriating, our meal was constantly interrupted by a relentless swarm of flies that wouldn't leave our table alone. These pests had the audacity to land directly on our plates, crawling across our food, turning an already dismal experience into something utterly revolting. Swatting flies while trying to eat is not the ambiance anyone signs up for, and it only amplified our disgust. When we raised the issue of the spoiled hollandaise to Leidy, her response was not concern or urgency but a galling display of condescension. "Have you ever had Eggs Benedict before?" she asked, her tone dripping with the assumption that our palates were too unsophisticated to know better. Let me be crystal clear, we've enjoyed this dish plenty, and this was no hollandaise, it was an inedible travesty. After we pushed back and learned the kitchen doesn't even use sour cream, Leidy's brilliant solution was to suggest the chipotle Benedict, as if a spicy version would erase the taste of spoiled sauce and the irritation of flies invading our meal. No apology, no effort to address the food or the pest problem, and, most outrageously, no offer to comp the barely touched plate that was unfit for consumption. To pile on the misery, shortly after leaving the restaurant, both of our stomachs began to churn with sharp, unsettling pain, likely a parting gift from the suspect Benedict we'd forced down. The idea that we were served spoiled food, swarmed by flies, and then charged full price is beyond infuriating, it's reckless. The bill was slapped on our table with shameless haste, as if they couldn't wait to be rid of us. Charging us for a meal that was not only abysmal but potentially hazardous, all while we battled flies, is a new low in customer service. We left Over Easy feeling cheated, disrespected, and physically unwell, our morning ruined by a place that fails spectacularly at food quality, service, and basic hygiene. This was our first visit, and mark my words, it will be our last. Save your money and your appetite for a restaurant that doesn't serve spoiled food, let flies run rampant, or treat customers with such blatant disregard. Goodyear deserves far better. read more

We came on a Sunday for brunch around 11 ish. We had the reservations in advance of going. It had 39 people ahead of us before it got close to us being at the top of the queue. However when I went in at around being 16 reservations back, I was seated outside right away. Our server was good, but honestly he spent more time helping the bartender with drinks. And so it took a loooooooooong time to order and get our food. That was really frustrating. We ordered the pigs in blanket- Amazing O loved it so much. I might just order that next time. We also ordered the blueberry cornbread. It was hard and cold. That we determined was a nope for the future. I also ordered the chilaquiles with green sauce, and hubs ordered the loco moco. My food was actually pretty spicy. Chips were good. Probably had too much sauce with meat for my liking though. The loco moco was hearty. I noticed there wasn't any gravy. Hubs said he preferred them with less or no gravy. And he said his meat wasn't salted. I couldn't tell. Lol. I didn't like that they used short grain rice either. It was just odd looking with the burger patty. Weird, I know. We will go back and it was so nice to have a place close to us to go out and have breakfast/brunch outside and enjoy our weather without driving to the East side. read more

Absolutely delicious! This place had a good amount of options. The inside was beautiful and quick to get our food. Prices are decent and you can eat for fairly cheap. Service could've used a little work. Not to bad but took forever to get our order and then never got a refill or receipt. Other than that it was great! read more

We went there with two good friends,, Got there about 8:30am. No problem with seating. Ordered food,, basic pancakes,, eggs,,hash browns,, Every thing was at about room temperature. Over Easy is a good new brunch spot in GSQ. Although they are popping up all over the valley. I had the Protein bowl and it was really good. The kids tried the pancakes which were warm and fluffy. We did get seated immediately at 830 am, but by the time we left an hour or so later there was a bit of a wait. This was on a Monday morning. read more

This is my first time visiting the brand new location of Over Easy in Goodyear, which just opened. I was greeted by Brooklyn the hostess, she was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is wide open light and airy, and at this time you can eat on the porch, which is huge. I was doing work so I chose to eat inside. I have good service from my server, and the food was hot, fresh and a good size portion. It was also delicious! There are multiple locations around town and I'm always glad to find one of them when I'm looking for a good breakfast/lunch. read more

The only thing I'd have again is the raspberry tea.. The food had no flavor, the hash brown didn't taste like anything but cooking oil.. They sit you at a booth that came straight from the last supper.. and it was my last supper there!! The wait time was horrendous. We were told 25-30 minutes for a party of three. And saw several people leave before being seated. They weren't sitting people at all even though it was not busy like they usually are on a Saturday. There were plenty of open tables. The front area had 3 young girls who were very unprofessional. I know that there is the option to add my name to the wait list but when I checked ahead of coming to the restaurant it said there was not a wait time. If Gordon Ramsay walked into my breakfast this morning, he'd probably need therapy afterward. I ordered crispy hash browns and potatoes O'Brien, but what showed up had the crispiness of a wet paper towel. Honestly, I've seen hospital Jell-O with more crunch. Then came the eggs. I asked for soft scrambled, but what I got was... let's just say they were scrambled in spirit only. It was less "soft scramble" and more "sad omelet audition that didn't make the cut." This was our go to breakfast place. My husband and I would eat here 3-5 times a week. Unfortunately, we never asked what type of oils were used to cook with. Well it's seed oils. And they also use them on the options that are supposed to be healthier. It's so disappointing since we really loved going here to eat. The servers and bartenders are great at their jobs and take great care of their guests. Unfortunately we've found another place that offers clean ingredients. read more

Went there on Sat - busy and 100% worth the wait. We had a party of 11 and our server was patient, knew the menu and very attentive. The chilaquiles were delicious ... get the half red and green! Server Jessica was great and food was excellent as well. Would recommend the Golden Waffle Dogs and the OG Wolfpack with ranchera sauce. Only downfall was they did not have slings for our babies car seat and high chairs were too small and unstable to fit her car seat. Luckily they were able to quickly accommodate us and move us to a bigger booth to have baby in booth with us. Highly recommend and will be visiting again soon! read more

Never Again My first and last visit to Over Easy. I was visiting family at the nearby hospital and thought we'd grab breakfast first. BIG MISTAKE! The California omelette came out drowning in grease. Literally inedible. Every bite was like drinking oil. We couldn't even finish a few forks before giving up and leaving to cook at our grandma's house instead. After waiting an hour for garbage food, they still charged us for the black coffee we barely touched. The server acted like it was our fault their kitchen can't cook an egg without turning it into a grease bomb. I posted a video so you can see how disgusting it was. The manager could have made it right but chose to be petty instead, nickel-and-diming us on the way out. Even McDonald's has better customer service. My fist visit at this place was very disappointing the food was not good very greasy over cooked/burn all I can taste was burnt grease oil eew!. The orange juice and coffee was good. The kitchen crew can do better it feels like they are rushing to cook evething to get the orders out of their hand. The server was very distracted but was trying to do it best. The ambiance was fine. Trying to find something health conscience AND delicious has been a struggle breakfast-wise, but we found our solution with a throughly delicious protein bowl! Eggs, chicken sausage, and a wonderful medley of mushrooms and veggies! Our server Jessi was attentive, and beyond that a positive energy that added to our day off experience. Ordered the monte cristo and the mimosa flight. The monte cristo was really yummy and paired well with the jam. I ordered mine with a side of hash browns and those came out really good as well. As for the mimosa flight, I chose orange juice, mango, strawberry, and raspberry for my 4 flavors. All the flavors were tasty and yummy! My sisters ordered the southwest omelette and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Both enjoyed their meals. Only con was we arrived at quite a busy time (Friday 11am) and there was little to no wait space inside the restaurant, (only like 4 seats for people to wait) so we had to wait outside and it was hot. read more

Always a joy to come to eat at this location. The manager Jonah really has his thumb on excellent service and really cares for the customers experience. The food is always good never a bad day when visiting this place. I love the chilaquiles navidad which is both red and green sauce, absolutely delicious.
