I'm joining Yelp in order to write this review. Sam (aka Wassim) of Sam's IT Solutions is that good. He paid a house-call today to visit our malfunctioning printer and as he came in I was reminded of the good old days (before my time) when doctors came to help patients in their sick-beds. I understand Sam has a brick-and-mortar shop on Lake and, having met him, can easily imagine stopping by. But the relief and delight I experienced in having someone come to us instead of having to schlep is worth mentioning. In my experience, Sam was thoughtful, smart and straight-forward. He listened. He was not demeaning or patronizing the way some computer pros are. He was human and cordial. And he knew his stuff. The printer is fixed and Sam has a loyal client. My husband and I already plan to get more assistance from Sam. I recommend his service to anyone who is need of computer/printer help. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Sam and he completely exceeded my expectations. Not only he was extremely skilled at fixing computers, but he was incredibly humble, soft-spoken, calm, and kind. From my interaction with Sam, I could tell that he genuinely cared about helping me resolve my computer issues. He took the time to listen to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions and found the root of the problem. But perhaps the most impressive thing about Sam was - Customer satisfaction was the main thing he cared for. Fixing my computer required him a second visit (I had to order some extra hardware) and he never even asked me for money for his first visit. He asked me to pay him only after my problem is solved, since that's what he truely cared for. I would highly recommend this Sam to anyone in need of computer assistance. He is really a pleasure to work with. So, I will give them 5 stars on yelp read more

Sam was knowledgeable and thorough when it came to fixing my PC that stopped working a few months ago. If you need help with your PC and don't want to get ripped off, I highly recommend contacting Sam. Thanks again Sam! The PC is running great. read more

Would recommend Sam's IT! I messaged Sam to request a quote and he asked me questions about my laptop, then gave me a quote within the day I asked. In all of our interactions, Sam was friendly and courteous. I appreciated that he always kept me updated about where we were in the process of repairing my laptop. In the end, the price was within the quote given. I got my laptop back a couple weeks ago and it's working great! read more

Writing this on my fixed macbook pro 2019 from Sam! Honestly, as an overtly-anxious person who've also been scammed before (i'm a trusting fool xD), I was scared of fixing my laptop since it would cost so much money through apple or any other service. Sam not only provided me the cheapest option for a new monitor, but also clarified so much to ease my anxious mind. If you need any actual solutions regarding your tech being wonky, Sam's IT Solutions is the place to reach out. He has such a kind heart and positive energy that I genuinely respect him and his craft. Truly looking out for others, he is THE person to go to for all your IT needs with the affordable prices that YOU need :') Long story short, all the reviews here are all true so get yo tech fixed here! read more

Very kind company that wants to provide the best services or solutions that they can for the community. Sam picked up my laptop for a repair on some of the keys/keyboard (their mobile services makes life alot easier since you dont have to drive anywhere and they come to you) and although my laptop unfortunately ended up giving out during the repair (which is a risk that can occur with any laptop repair since any repair does involve disassembly of delicate parts, so just a friendly tip to customers and which will also help prevent any scares for both the customer and the company, always back up all your data before any repair just in case because with any repair there will come the risk of unexpected situations), they were understanding of how I felt as a customer and offered to compensate me for my losses at a final amount that we felt comfortable with which was very much appreciated. Sam listened to my concerns, was understanding of the situation, and worked with me in finding a final solution that I would feel comfortable with. This ultimately changed a potentially stressful situation into a positive direction and the fact that they were fully understanding of the situation, wanted to take full responsibility and ownership afterwards (this type of attitude was the biggest thing that stood out to me and really made a huge difference and made everything feel so much better, as a customer this attitude was probably what I valued the most. If another company would have attempted to not take ownership of the situation it would have completely changed how I felt), and wanting to help me reach a comfortable solution really made me feel so much better about the entire thing, and I really appreciate that. In addition, they are very knowledgeable in their trade, responsive, and really does their best in making sure they provide you with a great experience. Thank you, to Sam and the team, for all that you do. read more

I was having a repeating boot issue and I wanted to get someone's second review on the problem. I reached out via the Yelp app and was able to get a response within the hour. After giving a brief run through of my issue, I was able to quickly schedule an appointment with Sam - he gave me times availability and we agreed on a time and date. Sam was able to come to our location and he was very respectful with my PC setup. Within the hour, with multiple trials - we were able to determine what was the issue and he advised me on next steps before our session ended. I would recommend Sam's IT solutions - he provides excellent customer service. read more

My laptop fan started making horrible noises. I reached out to Sam on a Friday afternoon to see if he could diagnose and fix it. He picked my laptop and kept me updated every step of the way with diagnostics, suggestions, and pictures. He also discovered the battery needed to be replaced. I received my fixed laptop back quickly and paid a fair price for the repair. I've already told my friends and family. Thanks Sam, you're a terrific find! read more

Due to water damage, my laptop was operating so slowly. I reached out to Sam and he responded within a flash! I have so many good things to say about this experience. -Response time/communication is EXCELLENT -Mobile service: Sam picks up and drops off...very convenient -While my laptop was being repaired, I was given a loaner laptop in the interim...this was great, as I could continue to do my work even while my laptop received repairs -the cost/pricing is very fair I had a wonderful experience working with Sam and would do it again in a heartbeat. Truly go above and beyond. Would recommend to friends and family. Thanks Sam and team! read more

My name is Nate. I took in a brand-new computer that ended up getting the screen cracked by one of my workers negligence. Regardless the computer was a week old, and since the screen was a higher resolution I was having trouble finding the part, let alone if it even existed for a computer so new. I took it to Sam's, and he mentioned the same to me that the part hadn't been issued yet. The point I bring this all up is that Sam went through the process of calling ASUS (the brand maker) and issuing it to be sent out for repair with the actual company. He called me asked me for basic info to get the repair made through warranty. I was stunned. I picked up the computer and he didn't even charge me which was even more stunning. He legitimately just wanted to help me out. Since the pandemic ruined a lot of my faith in customer service, this was beyond anything I would have expected. I expect to pay for a part and the repair and thought that anything below $500 would have been a fair deal. Thank you again Sam, just going through the process of doing it through warranty will have me coming back in case something else goes wrong with any of my other computers. You're a rock star! read more

He follows up and makes sure you are happy with the service provided. If you need any type of laptop or computer repair, Sam's your guy. He's the best, thank you again Sam! read more

Sam helped me install a new graphic card, CPU, motherboard, PSU and an additional SSD on my new pc build. He was the most professional, friendly and attentive, he goes out of his way to help and ensure everything was working perfectly before wrapping up and answered every question I had before and during the installation. It was the most pleasant experience having Sam help building the system, and I would recommend to all in need of a computer related help. read more

My computer kept crashing to a black screen while gaming, and was becoming increasingly unreliable. Sam was super communicative, professional, and timely in trading care of the problem; not only did he replace my power supply, but he also re-configured some fans that had been improperly installed. And the cherry on top was that he was more than happy to talk me through exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what effect it would have. More than fair rates on top of everything else; way better than I could have asked for. My computer is running and sounding better than when I got it three years ago; Sam is definitely my new go to for any future tech needs. read more

I can't begin to explain how much I recommend Sam's. The customer service here was so comforting. I had a recently purchased laptop (used) that stopped working. He was happy to accommodate my schedule and arranged a pick up time that worked for me. Not to my surprise the laptop had more issues than previously thought. He let me know and didn't charge me anything. I will keep coming here and would like to encourage anyone else to try Sam's out. Humble, honest, great prices. read more

I just moved to Pasadena, and I ran into trouble with a monitor that I had been using for work. I had no idea who to call, so I just chose the first IT group that popped up on a google search. I'm glad it was Sam's. I called Sam let him know what my problem was and he offered to come pick it up the same day. It turns out I was completely unaware that the monitor was still under warranty. Sam kindly navigated the process of submitting the claim for a very reasonable price. With how necessary technology is for working from home right now, I was grateful for the quickness of service. I will definitely be reaching out to these guys next time I need a repair done. read more

Sam is an absolute legend!! I dropped my desktop PC onto some concrete Sunday afternoon, and it wouldn't boot up! Was freaking out and everywhere was closed. My desktop got zapped during a recent power outage, so I got on Yelp, and looked for a local IT guy. There were many to choose from, but Sam was quickest to respond, and he was immediately available. (Saturday) I told him of my issue, and he asked if he could come to my house and check it out. Didn't know he was a mobile technician! Anyhow, he wound up having to take my machine back to his office where he ran a complete diagnostic. Turns out, my hard drive was corrupt. He installed a new SSD, and delivered my desktop back to me within 24 hours! We had one hiccup in re: to activating Windows, but after some a few calls here and there, everything got resolved. So, in conclusion, fast, efficient, reliable, as well as easy on the pocketbook. Thanks Sam! read more
