Never have I ever experienced such amazing service from a pc tech in my life! Sam really does go above and beyond for his clients and that's what makes him the best. Long story short, I just recently built a high end PC for editing only to start it up and have it not work. I contacted Sam at 8pm that evening and he was able to drive out 40 mins to me at 5am and completely fix my PC by 7am. Sam is extremely reliable, knowledgeable and honest which is why, if you need help with anything PC related... SAM IS YOUR GUY! My PC decided to break down just after the heat wave & the day I come back from Hawaii. It was probably just as sick as I was from moving so much these last couple years. I have some knowledge in building pc's but not that much. I did my youtube research, tested it all and nothing was working. Ended up hopping on yelp to find someone that was able to do it. I treat my pc like its my baby, so I really needed someone that was able to take care of her. Going through many tech repair stores on yelp, most if not all, had some bad experiences. Usually a few bad reviews dont shy me away, but like I said, my pc is my baby so I had to make sure that it was getting taken care of. I eventually messaged Sam on Yelp and to my surprise, a response within 7 mins or so. We chatted back and forth on what I knew of my pc, my parts, what I thought was wrong (which i thought it was power supply, but then my motherboard was also another issue i thought may be it), then scheduled a time to meet. Sam met with me at 6am in the morning! Very punctual too. He even came to my house so I wouldnt have to bring my giant pc over to him (i know some people dont like this, but it was a nice extra service if you rather do that). My pc did take some time to repair, I had bought new parts to replace from amazon, newegg, bestbuy, and installed it all correctly. Nothing for the longest time. I was very close to just giving up and buying a new pc. Then Sam just had a Jimmy Neutron *BRAIN BLAST* and figured the new power supply had to be faulty and boom, just like that. All my parts are still in and it was just the power supply, the first thing that I tested before calling Sam. The motherboard did get fried too so I did switch out that as well. Just my luck that 3 of 3 new parts bought were all defective. I am just happy that my pc is now back to normal and working perfectly. Thank you very much Sam for making the time so early for me to get it done! 5/5 stars for customer service. read more

I just posted an inquiry about my printer and Sam was quick to respond. Very helpful and easy to talk to. He didn't even try to upsell me on anything. He just wanted to help. read more

My wife's computer went on the fritz and after reading some forums and watching YouTube, her idiot husband decided to try and fix it himself. After deciding it was one issue when it actually wasn't (some memory sticks had failed), we hit up Sam who was super responsive, communicative, and very affordable. Sam diagnosed the problem, cleaned up the damage I had done, and got the computer back up and running quickly and kept us informed every step of the way, all while managing to not make me feel like the idiot I am. Next time either of our computers (WFH, computers are our careers) needs repair, I'm 100% calling up Sam again. read more

Computer kept crashing, I tried a bunch of stuff on my own and nothing helped. Shot Sam a message on Yelp, he responded immediately and we set up an appointment for him to come out. He quickly identified the problem and suggested a component I could buy on my own. Once the component arrived, he came out again and repaired and cleaned the computer. Running great now. He was responsive, punctual and made sure to explain everything he was doing. Also priced great. I would highly recommend his service to everyone! read more

As a forewarning, this business operates on an outcall basis, meaning the client (you) will be seen at their location. Whether this be a residence, office, or even a public space is up to you. The location of the business serves as a drop-off for smaller electronics, and not large devices like printers, personal computers, TVs, monitors, etc. That being said, I had Sam come out to my residence following an initial call a couple days prior with my computer issues. The next time I contacted him to confirm there was a problem he was able to schedule an outcall within the same day. My location was close to his business location (South Pasadena), so your experience may vary The service is charged by the hour at a very reasonable price. Sam was very accommodating and willing to answer any questions I had. Fortunately my issue was something extremely minor due to self-negligence, which was able to be fixed in a matter of minutes, so my experience in how the troubleshooting process would go is limited. But for the short problem I needed to have addressed, Sam had equally solved the issue just as quickly with courteous and prompt service. Next time I have a more in-depth problem to take care of with my personal computer or electronics I'll be remembering Sam's IT Solutions. read more

Absolutely fantastic. Sam was prompt, courteous and most of all HELPFUL. He does answer calls 24/7. He came to my home the very next day. He diagnosed the problem quickly, professionally & efficiently. He made suggestions for way to repair my Dell laptop. He had all the necessary parts & equipment on hand. His charge for 1 hour of service was very, very reasonable. If you have a computer, Sam is certainly the man to call! read more

Sam was great. Very friendly and professional. The guy knows his stuff and had everything necessary to take care of me and my baby (my acer predator g1 that's almost 5 years old). Very easy to work with and took great care of my computer while diagnosing and solving my issue. He said it was a great feeling to be able to help. I say it was a great feeling to be helped. He's not a genie so he can only fix what can be fixed but he doesn't mess around and he just wants to help you as quickly and effectively as possible to ensure you have a great experience and are satisfied with the service. I highly recommend his service! Support local businesses! He's located literally like 2 blocks from me. read more

An unexpected hard drive crash last week left us stymied, but we checked out Sam's IT and were impressed by the positive reviews and easy accessibility. Sam took my laptop overnight and by 7 a.m. the next morning, he had it up and running. Since then he has helped us with several other IT tasks. He's incredibly polite and thoughtful, easy to reach, and gets the job done at a very reasonable price. We're thrilled to recommend him. read more

Sam is the best! I contacted him after 9 pm and he reached out to see how he could help me right away. I had some problems with my email and phone settings. To a tech savvy person this sounds simple. To a retired grandmother I was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong. Sam came to my house in the pouring rain at 6 am the next morning and spent 45 minutes fixing my problem. He is great! Sam is considerate and respectful and did not care I have a limited understanding of technology. He explained each step to me as he went along and came up with a workable solution for me. In reading Sam's reviews it was clear he can fix pretty complicated issues. He never made me feel incompetent. Sam said he totally understood my frustration and that HE was grateful he could help me. Such refreshing customer service! Don't be hesitant to contact Sam! You won't be sorry! I've already shared his contact information with friends (young and old) for help with complex and simple IT issues. read more

Sam is a great person! Called him around 7:20PM on a Tuesday night asking if he had some motherboard screws for sale. I had an issue with my work computer, so I called Sam. He was quick to respond, very knowledgeable, and honest. He told me that given my issue, it would be better for me to purchase a new computer rather than pay him to repair it because I'd run into the same issue down the road and be in the same place I'm in now. He could've taken my money, repaired it, and not told me that it'd be cheaper in the long run to just get a new computer. I really appreciate his honesty, quickness in replying to me, and answering my questions. I will definitely be saving his contact information and calling him for future computer issues. read more

My computer screen died, and I posted a service request on Yelp Saturday night, assuming I'd have to take it into the shop on Monday. Sam messaged me within minutes, got on the phone with me that evening, and walked me through the steps to start the process of fixing it. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend him to any individuals or companies looking for IT Solutions and computer repair. read more

I have contacted Sam at Sam's IT Solutions twice. I called the first time seeking repair for my old chromebook. Sam patiently explained to me why repairing a five-year old machine with multiple problems was not worth the expense. I called Sam a second time seeking to purchase a restored chromebook. Sam told me that his company does not sell anything that they cannot completely guarantee and therefore they do not sell any restored machines. He then patiently explained options for buying rebuilt machines from other vendors. He also gave me answers for other tech questions and then recommended some equipment as well. Sam is competent, honest, and has integrity. I would not hesitate to do business again with him in the future. What more can I say? FIVE STARS! read more

Quick response and knowledgeable when it came to the issue I was having with my CPU. Friendly interaction and would recommend!

I had just moved and my pc was leaking coolant. It was a custom loop cooling system and not the AIO type so I had no idea what to do. Sam was very quick to try to help me over the phone and when we couldn't figure out that way he was able to drop by. Mind you this was late in the evening and I was very surprised he was able to help me the very same night. He was able to diagnose the problem was loose screws and some being missing all together. Unfortunately neither sam or I have replacement screws but Sam went above and beyond and was willing to drive to Home Depot to get the right screws. Afterwards he also ran diagnostics on the PC to make sure all the other parts were still good and in good condition. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone with computer problems and will always go to him for IT related help. read more

Sam was prompt and quick with his response. He asked diagnostic questions over the phone to make sure we could reduce anymore additional damage to our PC tower. He came over in a timely manner and was quick to identify our solution. Sam also ran over to Home Depot to buy supplies for the repair and came immediately back. In less than 2 hours, he was able to fix our problem. You can tell he absolutely loves his job and is so knowledgable about fixing computers. It gives me a peace of mind I have found a trustworthy person for any IT problems. I cannot recommend Sam enough for his professionalism, customer service, and overall supportive personality. read more

Sam’s IT Solutions - IT Services & Computer Repair Near Me - Pasadena, California

Where can I start...let's just say Sam with Sam's IT solutions was heaven sent! I accidentally deleted important data on my PC which disabled my login credentials and I could not access my computer. I work from home sometimes and this is the PC I use to do my job so of course I was extremely stressed. I put out a quote on Yelp, most places said they could not help whereas Sam immediately asked if he could call me to go over my issue. He was the most calm and gentle person over the phone, took the time to listen to my issue and gave me a solution over the phone...YES over the phone without expecting a penny in return!!!! I am not savvy with electronics, so after a number of failed attempts (on my end) to solve the issue I asked if he could stop by and do it himself. He nicely agreed and even offered to have my PC up and running before my workday started the next day! He offered to be at my house at 5:30AM the next day...YES 5:30! We agreed to meet at 6, and he was so punctual. He was able to easily fix my issue and as a bonus he was extremely sweet to my doggie so that was definitely a plus! :) His prices are extremely reasonable! You could tell he's a man with morals who will not take advantage of any situation. Thank you Sam! You made an impact with me and I couldn't recommend him or his services more!!! read more

I called Sam because I was having issues building my PC, he asked me a ton of questions and I told him all the troubleshooting I did. After everything he told me to try and return my motherboard because he believed it was broken. Same night I replaced it and it works now!! Sam charged me nothing at all and wanted to try and fix what it was without having me spend any excess money which he did perfectly. Highly recommend Sam to anyone needing help with PC building read more

Competitive, flexible, and above all honest and helpful. I had my laptop brick on me right before school started. I reached out to many services out there that either charged a large diagnostic fee or were unresponsive in a timely manner. Sam was immediately responsive. He offered me complementary diagnostics, and pick up/drop off of the computer. When he came to pick up the computer, he did a quick diagnostic in the car with me, and the computer decided to work again lol. He said it was probably an issue w/ windows and right there gave me instructions to fix it. He could have easily told me there was an issue that needed to be fixed and charged me for the drive, diagnostic. But he did not, and went above and beyond to help me fix it myself. This guy is an exemplar of the honest, hungry for work, small business owner. Give this guy some work! read more

My MacBook Pro fell to the ground and the screen shattered. Yelp messaged 5 stores for me and 2 of them said unable to service, 1 said "take it to Apple Store", and 1 wanted to charge over $460 plus tax. Sam's IT solution asked for my laptop model number, found the right replacement screen on eBay within a few minutes, and only charged $75 for the installation which took only a few hours after I dropped it off at their shop. There's just something about the efficiency of Sam's IT solutions that all these other repair shops can learn a thing or two from. read more

Sam is great: punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I will certainly use him again!

This is the only review of Sams IT that you'll ever need to read This man is the best of the best at the literal best pricing. This man doesn't scam customers and does whatever it takes to fix any of your issues. I had been to other "PC Repair" shops in the area who couldn't care less about charging an arm and a leg to put your PC together. My PC was still broken and I was down $1000 after visiting him - Sams IT solutions actually finds the issues and fixes it for almost 25% of the cost. I was shocked to see someone actually so friendly and willing to help without trying to add hidden fees and hourly charges. DON'T GET SCAMMED, CALL SAM FOR ALL OF YOUR PC NEEDS! read more

I just finished building a new PC but it would not turn on. I suspected there was a problem with the components but didn't have the spare parts to test it out. It was also Sunday so most repair places are closed. I called Sam and he was able make an appointment the same afternoon to help me troubleshoot, and it turned out there was a problem with the PSU (would've never guessed, since it worked fine on my old computer) and possibly also with the cooling fans splitter (they might drain too much power and cause the board to short circuit). I was worried that I might've broken more things than I anticipated, but thankfully I only needed a new PSU as everything else was working just fine. Sam is super friendly and professional, and I highly recommend him! read more

Had an overall great experience. The process was super fast and smooth. Requested a quote through yelp and got a response not long after (plus points for being open Sunday). They said they'd be able to pick it up Monday which I didn't even expect. I thought I'd have to take a little time off to drop it off but they even handled that. My PC problem was a little unique. It was a prebuilt which wasn't made to handle the heat its components produced and they took the time to walk me through the potential solutions as well as kept me updated on their progress. Then when they were finished, Sam dropped off the PC and stayed to make sure all was working well. This was on Wednesday morning of the same week but they were close to being able to deliver as soon as Tuesday night. read more

If you're debating between repair places, PLEASE GO WITH SAM YOU WON'T REGRET IT :) I cannot say enough good things about his services and I really hope his business continues to grow because he's wonderful. He should have a 5-star overall but there's a fake review on here from someone named "Candy" -- when I saw that, I knew I wanted to give his services a try to help him get the score he deserves. He helped fix my dead MacBook screen within just a few days, when other places (including Apple) couldn't get the parts in time before my flight out of the country. He also worked with me to give me the most competitive quote, which was so appreciated as I definitely had a budget. Best of all, he has the kindest personality - so genuine about wanting to fix issues and help his customers. Thank you so much, will be coming to you for all problems here on out! read more
