A few weeks ago, my laptop was crashing constantly and I had reached out to Sam to figure out the issue. He spoke with me over the phone for half an hour, trying to help troubleshoot and diagnose the problem (as well as some back and forths over text). At the time, he thought it was due to overheating and suggested some settings to switch around and suggested a laptop fan for me to purchase to potentially remediate. I was able to eventually identify the true cause of the issue (faulty GPU driver) but Sam didn't charge me for any time used. Simply amazing. I did a little google diagnosis for my laptop prior to calling Sam to see what he would say and before I could finish describing my issue, he said it. (which was the same as what I thought it would be). My LCD backlight burned out. I initially thought I was having OS system issues with my laptop. Glad it was just a simple hardware fix. Sam told me what parts to order for my work laptop and fixed it within a day of me bringing everything over. He also returned the old screen bubble wrapped in a box. Why would a broken screen need to be bubble wrapped and boxed. lol. That just means he has good attention to detail and will take care of your stuff. On September 15, we called Sam to help us with VPN on all our computers in our home. He picked up our call and was so accommodating to our schedule. Sam is always so communicative--whether phone calls, text messages and email. He came exactly on time and was so professional always. He helped us with our VPN and within an hour was done. He charges so fair and we always rely on Sam to help us two completely computer and technology illiterate people. He is so honest and so kind and professional. He also suggested to help us with our Ethernet connection which I had zero clue and he told us what products to get and scheduled a follow up appointment on September 29 and September 30. I needed help upgrading my hard dive and ram on my pc laptop. Sam was quick to reply... he sent me links to components to order on Amazon in case I wanted to just order and install myself. I opted to have him do it and give it a clean install of windows 11. He was fast and reasonable. On pickup after finishing the final setup on the windows install that Sam had done, I had some issues with missing drivers (Alienware specific stuff)... Sam patiently talked me through where to find those drivers... and even offered to come do a service call at no charge if I couldn't get it to work. I'm leaving a review because I tried to ask for a quote but rather than charging me for something I could likely do on my own, Wissam took the time to give me a call and explain to me how to go about handling my issue. I sent a project request to ask for help with a stripped screw on the bracket of my old CPU fan. Within a few minutes, I got a response and request to call. Wissam was on the phone with another customer when I called, and even apologized for missing my call. It was kind of him because its understandable that he was on the line with another customer so I appreciated the extra courtesy since I wasn't entitled to an automatic answer. He asked me what happened to cause the issue, and made multiple suggestions for what I could do to remove the screw myself. He did not mention charging anything, a quote, etc, just tried to give me advice for how I could get it removed. I need to wait for the product he suggested to arrive so I can try what he suggested, but i will likely call him back to request a service repair if I still can't do it myself I wanted to take the time to leave a review even though I didn't pay for any service or have my PC worked on because it personally says a lot to me how a business communicates and treats customers. A lot of places might overcharge for simple solutions and even then would probably not take the time aside to walk someone through a solution at no charge. Wissam was very friendly and patient on the phone too, which is nice when dealing with a frustrating problem like this. I recently cracked the screen on my laptop. Given I was traveling, the use of a secondary monitor was not an option and I needed to get it fixed quickly. Didn't hesitate to look for Sam again for IT solutions. My screen for my desktop suddenly stopped working (not the screen's issue, it was from my computer's end) and I assumed the HDMI port from my computer was broken since the display port was still working (the display port and HDMI port are on the same thing, the video card). Sent a message to Sam through Yelp and his response time is fast! He went through asking some questions about my problem and then went through some general troubleshooting. Now, when I say "general troubleshooting", you may think well... why didn't I think of doing these first? Sam was so conscientious. I was opening up a new office and was told I needed an IT guy to set up my phone and internet. I thought I was contacting a different Sam, so imagine my surprise when this Sam arrived! He was gracious and offered to allow me to contact the original Sam. But I told him that he must have been the one for a reason, and that turned out to be true. The Spectrum tech was there earlier in the day and did not do the job correctly. Also, the electrician did not wire the electrical lines correctly. Sam was able to detect both problems with his handy dandy electrical detector and I was able to get both the electrician and a different Spectrum tech to come back and fix it. I was up and running the next day. It took a couple of hours for Sam to get everything sussed out and quite a bit of time on the phone with the Spectrum rep, but his hourly rate was more than fair. He had another job after mine and couldn't wait for the electrician to show up that night, but he said to call the next day and he could walk the Spectrum tech through what he had found. I had scheduled being down for one day and knew the move would take just one day if everyone that had been hired did their jobs. Thanks Sam! My printer wasn't doing its thing anymore but I couldn't figure out why. I called Sam and we set up a time for him to come by and check it out a couple days later. After a half hour or so of trouble shooting stuff I didn't even think or find on Google he figured out it was the drum unit that needed replacing! I called Sam on a Sunday needing to figure out why my computer's memory was full and I don't have anything saved to my laptop! He made a special trip to my house and diagnosed the issue. He came back and installed a larger hard drive. It was very fast and very affordable! Sam is a congenial person and explained everything to me. He helped me troubleshoot over the phone by asking me some questions about my build and he diagnosed that I needed to upgrade my cooler. He told me exactly which part to order and to let him know once it arrives so that he can come and install it. I ordered the part and Sam arrived on time on the scheduled repair day. He started by running some diagnostics on my computer and then began the installation which took no more than 30 minutes. After the installation was complete, Sam let me test my computer over the weekend before submitting payment just to make sure everything was working properly and that the issue was fixed before paying.
