This place is a very unique place for ice cream. Flavors are so unique and different from all places that I have tried ice cream so far. Little pricey I felt but still for the flavors I won't mind paying that. There is an option to get two scoops by paying split scoop price. I got that and tried two different flavors. Tried their salted caramel and also peach one. There were tiny pieces of peach in that icecream. There's sitting arrangement outside the place as inside there's no seating. Also this is right next to cheese cake factory. So park accordingly.

Love all the flavors at Salt n Straw but our favorite is the birthday cake! Perfect for parties! The seasonal carrot cake was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try new flavors! Service is super friendly.

Salt and straw is know for their unique flavor combos. I've tried multiple flavors there but I haven't been a huge fan of any of them. Pro tip: if you are a first time customer you can download their app and make a account for a free double scoop

I came here a couple times but never done a review. The store feels very open. They usually handle a one or few customers at a time to give them some time for samples. Love how they're always rotating flavors. Their flavors are always so flavorful, hits, and have combos you wouldn't think would go well in ice cream. Flavors: - Sea Salt Caramel Ribbon: salt and caramel are not overpowering, always hits - Coffee & Love Nuts: authentic coffee, I think it's diced hazelnut? but it gives a good texture - Honey Lavender: fragrant and not overly sweet

I love this place! There's always a line out the door which moves quickly. There's always new flavors to check out and I like that they offer samples. My go to flavor is the chocolate gooey brownie yum! I love that they have the option of split scoop. I got a single cup with the split scoop option of chocolate gooey brownie and cinnamon snickerdoodle. Can't wait to come back to try out the new flavors hehe

Strawberry Balsamic! Delicious! I usually get honey lavender but I wanted to try something new! Creamy and a bit tart! Definitely worth sampling if you haven't tried it yet! I got a split scoop, so you can't see the bottom scoop. My bottom scoop was the coffee flavor! Loved that too! Worth trying both!

Love their funky flavors and their fast service. This time I got a "Candyshoppe", which was one of their going away soon flavors. A mix of candy pieces, a little caramel and slight rum taste.

Salt and straw is a very solid baseline spot for ice cream allowing lots of flavor sampling and rotating flavors in monthly This particular spot has really good vibes, it is open late and is a nice break from hustle of the mall and the vicinity has plenty of outdoor seating Chocolate series in February was quite good they also have a chocolate brownie waffle cone ahhh (but sold out :(( ) Cake batter chocolate fudge was so fun and tasty! nice balance of creamy / sweet with a hint of chocolate Gooey chocolate brownie was not a seasonal flavor but texture was really nice and gooey as described

Whenever we're shopping at Valley Fair, we eventually hit that "mall fatigue" and need a sweet pick-me-up. Salt & Straw is always our go-to spot to recharge. On this visit, we tried the Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper, and it was absolutely amazing! I never expected balsamic vinegar to pair so perfectly with strawberry. The black pepper adds a surprising little kick at the end that really elevates the whole scoop. The staff here are incredibly friendly and patient, they let us sample a few other flavors before we decided. It's a truly enjoyable experience every time!

I came on New Years Day around 1:30 and there was no line! I sampled so many flavors because I couldn't decide and each time the employee was nice when handing a sample! The little slot to put your used spoons is so cute too. I ended up going with the seasonal peppermint chocolate bark flavor in a kids size in a cup. Perfect amount , I could eat a pint but gotta control myself somehow. I need to go back for the ice cream taco!! They're in the freezer by the cash register and I totally forgot to get one when I was checking out!

The December 2025 flavors are here, and they're all delicious! Peppermint cocoa - Strong peppermint flavor, so good if you like it. Chewy molasses cookie - Definitely taste the molasses and the caramel adds that gooey texture. Almond brittle with salted ganache - One of my favorites for the crunch and salted, nutty flavor. Pineapple upside down cake - Tastes like a pina colada! Great cookie swap - Their classic holiday special which is so good and gooey!

    Sweet potato casserole!!! :)

Sample before you commit to one their magically created flavors (: This time I got the sweet potato casserole! So yummy. Service was fast. Not a place to sit inside but there are a lot of spots outside next to everything else. They have vegan flavors as well

Came here to try the Thanksgiving themed flavors during the month of November! As always, the staff was very generous with the ice cream samples. We ended getting a double of the Parker House Rolls with Salted Buttercream and the Maple Koginut Squash with Pomegranate. Both flavors were delicious and complimented each other well! Parker House Rolls was creamy and slightly salty whereas the Maple Koginut was light and fruity. Definitely will be back in December!

Yes! They provide samples for customers!

Do they have non dairy options?

I believe so! They have a boysenberry and oat milk sherbet, which is marked vegan on their website. You can check out their other flavors here: https://saltandstraw.com/pages/flavors#bay-area :)

Nostalgic flavors from my childhood in a gelato format? :)…read more I came to Marco Polo on a Friday evening and ordered two small cups for my partner and I. This is my third time at Marco Polo and it really hit the spot. The location is in Vietnam Town, on the far right side, next to Pho 90. When I went this time around, there was no lines but there were still people sitting in the store eating their desserts. Parking here can get tough because of the plaza itself so just a heads up to folks who do not frequent the area. What makes Marco Polo so special is their Asian gelato flavors that you cannot really get anywhere else (that to say a lot of places are now expanding their selections). This was the first spot where I could finally get my hands on durian gelato and it was absolutely delicious. The store itself has around 3 tables for you to sit in and is pretty bare boned. It is good for a grab and go but with the limited seating inside and outside you could spend some time here. Service is quick and you are able to try out some samples. This time around I ordered black sesame and Pandan, while my partner got mango and lychee. It was near close so they ran out of mangosteen unfortunately when I went. While the flavors were great, stood out, and were bold, I will say texturally it was a bit icey for my liking but that might have been because they started crystallizing from being out for a while. Overall, this is a small business I will continue to support!

The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, and I really liked the decorations inside. It is a comfortable place to sit, chat, and hang out with friends. Our group ordered the avocado smoothie, soursop green tea, and durian soy pudding. The durian soy pudding had that distinct durian smell, but the soy pudding made the overall flavor a little bland. The ratio might have been slightly off. Two of my friends ordered the avocado smoothie and thought it was okay, but they wished it had a stronger avocado flavor. The appetizers were the highlight for me. The popcorn chicken was definitely the best item we tried, and the curly fries were also good. We also ordered a combo with fried fish balls, lobster balls, and fried tofu. It was decent, but nothing really stood out. They have a large menu with several items that caught my attention, so I plan to try something different during my next visit. Overall, Sweet Corner is a nice place to relax and catch up with friends, with good snacks and plenty of drink and dessert options.

It's an interesting blend that kind of works, even if it takes a second to figure out what the "theme" is supposed to be. They offer a wide range of desserts and drinks. On one side, you've got items like tartufo (chocolate, cappuccino, limoncello, pistachio), sorbets, and cheesecake slices in the display case. On the other side, they have traditional Vietnamese-style desserts like sweet soups (chè), grass jelly, black-eyed bean pudding, and combo desserts with things like cassava, jelly, and coconut. There's also a solid drink menu with milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty coffees. I ordered the latte with matcha foam, and while I don't usually go for sweet drinks, this one was definitely on the sweeter side--but still really good. The matcha foam added a nice earthy balance to the coffee underneath. My friend got the three-color iced drink (the one with layered beans and jelly), and if you're into that texture and flavor profile, you'd probably enjoy it. The service stood out. The man helping us (possibly the owner) was very friendly, patient, and took the time to explain menu items, which I appreciated since some of the desserts aren't as familiar if you haven't had them before. The display case also looked well-stocked and clean, with everything neatly packaged and labeled, which made it easy to browse. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're in the area and want something a little different from the usual dessert shops. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because the concept feels slightly all over the place, but the quality, variety, and service definitely make it worth checking out.
