Delicious and filling breakfast!
C E.

Delicious food, friendly service and a nice, clean environment. We really enjoyed our breakfast here- many great options to choose from! We left happy with full bellies. I highly recommend this place!

Two eggs over easy, sausage, rosemary potatoes, rye toast

We stopped in for breakfast before the last leg of our journey to Maine and had a delicious breakfast. My go to is always two eggs over easy, breakfast meat, and potatoes whenever we try a new spot. The platter was excellent, with three pieces of sausage and delicious rosemary-infused potatoes. I wish they had the fat sausage links, but these were serviceable. My husband said his omelet was great. He subbed cheddar for the feta in the Breakfast Club omelet. Our girls got breakfast sandwiches but they were hungry so I didn't snap a pic. One got sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel and the other got it on a hard roll. The space is tiny so best to go early. We left just as the crowds descended. Service was good. We got to chatting with the owner and she said they're closing for the month of July to travel home so keep that in mind.

Salt and Pepper Omelet

Simple, quality, home style food. Nothing crazy, but tastes amazing. Prices reasonably. Friendly staff and quick service. Good seating area.

We stopped in here on our way north. We were pleasantly surprised... you can't always go by the reviews. The neighborhood is a little ruff but well worth the stop. Breakfast is one of those generic meals however when you find a place that uses fresh ingredients and cooks them properly, you have to give them credit. So we just had a few omelets but the veggie omelet was stuffed with fresh veggies, the potatoes are fresh red potatoes (seasoned and browned nicely), and the corned beef hash is fresh and crispy. My one criticism is that typically a hash is potato meat dish, their hash is just corned beef and onion. Other than that, everything was tasty, friendly staff and the prices were fair.... About $33 for two egg white omelets and hash. I'd absolutely recommend stopping for breakfast.

Location & Atmosphere Salt & Pepper is located at 268 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605. It's a cozy little diner, perfect for a casual and relaxing brunch. When I visited, it wasn't very busy, making for a quiet and enjoyable meal. The place was clean and well-kept, with everything tidied up quickly. Food & Drinks I had the Pastrami Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious! The hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, and there was plenty of smoky pastrami piled on top. The menu offers a great selection of breakfast classics, from fluffy pancakes to homemade corned beef hash. Portions are generous for the price! ‍ Service & Hospitality The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick with service. Even with a quiet atmosphere, they kept everything moving efficiently and made sure guests felt welcome. Unique Selling Point Great portions, homemade flavors, and a laid-back atmosphere. The Pastrami Benedict is a must-try! If you're looking for a no-frills, satisfying brunch in Worcester, Salt & Pepper is a solid choice.

I was looking for a place to take my son to breakfast and found this place on Yelp. Great reviews and not too far from home, perfect! It's a small place with one open room and bar seating. It has a neat industrial modern feel inside. My son and I chose to sit at the bar. We were quickly greeted. We ordered Coffee, hot chocolate, Salt & Pepper Omelet, Blueberry Pancakes & bacon. The servings were very generous and really delicious. What really impressed me about this place was the wait staff. There were 2 servers working a full room, including a large group of 14. They were friendly, efficient, and clearly skilled in what they do. I pretty much loved everything about this for a breakfast place. I'll be back.

We really enjoyed breakfast here. The omelette was very good. Over-easy eggs & bacon were perfect. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. It was a touch slow to place an order but there was only one person taking orders and managing customer payments. Will definitely go back.

The food and pricing is great but they need more waiters/ waitresses on staff . Service is mediocre.

Cozy place with good food. You can relax with your friends by sitting on long bench loaded with pillows or simple surf Internet.

This place is a wonderland of fresh food and fine service…read more I was driving from Maine to NYC and stopped for lunch. The menu is filled with fresh salads, healthy juices, and Brazilian dishes. The decor is lovely, with plenty of room between tables. My waiter, Philipe B., couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. I had a spinach and cheese wrap and a detox juice, both delish. I wish I lived nearby because I'd be a regular. As it is, I will stop whenever I am driving by. Highly recommend.

We Walked in with no reservations and was seated pretty quickly and kindly…read more The specialty coffee was delicious but over priced at $12 and served in a timely manner. However my meal was served way before the rest of the table and it was cold. I sent it back and was told it wasn't cold. I argued the point not to mention it wasn't what I had ordered. I asked for it to redone so that it was hot and served with the rest of my table. They took it back replaced the part that was incorrect but heated my original cold eggs and reserved it. Poor form. It was one egg and a pancake. The rest of the food was fine but we won't be back. Cold food and arrogant chef.... If someone asks for the food to be hot and served together with their table it shouldn't be an argument it should be done that way to start with. The place it self is fine as far as decor.

What I love: consistently delicious food in every changing and interesting flavors! Local business…read moreowned by local people! Frequent inclusion of butterscotch chips, a slept-on flavor! Cool higher end culinary items for purchase and some other weird but welcome items like handmade soap! Good community posting board! Chill vibes and surly baristas that make you feel like you're in a bigger city! What I don't love: there are never signs telling what the baked items are, so you literally have to ask one by one at every visit- as does every single person in line. It makes me feel guilty for the people behind me and I often rush before fully exploring my options. This is made worse when I bring my small indecisive child, so I go elsewhere when I have him with me. Also- 90% of the time that I have asked, the attending barista isn't certain what the baked items are and says something like "I think that one is an apricot and cheese danish. Or cheese and some fruit. I'm not positive." At Crust's prices, I'd like to know what I'm buying and I would appreciate time to make a decision. Why won't you tell us what your yummy pastries are?? Lastly- the automatic tipping options are so high (this is coming from someone who never tips below 20%) that it makes me wonder if you're paying your employees appropriately, or expecting tips to make up the difference. If you were to change one thing and one thing only from this feedback, PLEASE consider labeling your baked goods! I truly cannot think of a good reason why not to.
