The cheese danish was to die for - so delicious with flaky pastry. The plain croissants were amazing. And the sandwich can out steaming hot. Needed to wait a little before having it but it was so good. The sandwich was buttery & perfect. My 9 month old LOVED the plain croissants and the cheese danish was a hit. S'mores cold brew was just okay. Wasn't a huge fan of the chocolate sauce used. Will try a different flavor next time. Definitely love the location on West Boylston street. Will come again!

My mom and I stopped in today for the first time. The person working was very knowledgeable and attentive to all of their patrons. My mom and I both got the chocolate almond croissant. It may have been one of the best thing we've ever had. The middle was filled with chocolate and almond paste, the croissant dough was flaky and buttery and topped with a ton of slivered almonds. We would absolutely go back again for it. I also tried one of their specialty drinks. I got the Caramel delight coffee, which you can get hot or cold. It tastes exactly like a Samoa Girl Scout cookie. Chocolate, caramel and coconut. Great service and we can't wait to try more things when we come back. Thank you!!

We stopped in to Crust to try their croissants and they weren't too bad. Croissant was more on the buttery side though. My child enjoyed the cookie. I had the Americano with two shots of espresso which is my choice of poison when it comes to hot coffee. Coffee was solid--although I do prefer something a bit more richer. I did check in to this location on Yelp and they claim to offer 5% off for first purchase. I shared with the staffers they had no clue that they had offered that and also was not sure how to apply the discount. Thats a bust right there. Overall visit was pleasant. Coffee, croissant, and cookie wasn't bad. Vibe was nice, and parking lot available for easy parking.

Good service. We stopped by because I wanted something local vs a regular coffee chains. Small and cozy, it has comfortable seats, clean and good espresso. Off street parking. Bathroom inside, they take cc

Come here a lot because of school and the convenience. There aren't any tables inside so it's really just a takeout spot. The people who work there are normally very friendly even when there's a large group of us. I have had multiple pastries but really enjoy the croissants.

Crust has a really fun seasonal coffee menu with all the delicious fall flavors. I got a pumpkin cheesecake latte that was scrumptious. They have dairy alternatives, which is a big plus. A decent selection of baked goods, a lunch menu, and cute merchandise. Good sized seating area and fun decor- they're currently decorated for Halloween. I would definitely stop back in!

The whole milk latté was very good. The iced matcha latte wasn't as good. Chocolate chip croissant was good. Should have had a bit more chocolate. In my opinion. Also picked up a delicious hearth sourdough bread. The place was a. It in disarray. Couldn't cut the bread I just purchased cause the baker wasn't there.

We went to the main st location. My biggest call out is that we wanted to sit and eat and that location is a little tight so if it had been busier it may have harder to sit and eat. I got a BEC on a croissant and I promise it was the hottest sandwich I had ever in my life. I promise 15 minutes later it was still letting out steam. But it was really good and filling.

Sparse, rotating menu that varies weekly. I think I couldn't make this at home--a test for a place being worth the bill--so it's worth the price. It certainly felt authentically Italian. Service was great. It's a tight ship but they make it work. Ambiance was energetic being around the public market but the food is good enough that you can dress up. Wonderful date night/foodie spot. A few bar seats so definitely a partner or friend at max. Not a place to bring kids as it's dine in. Teenagers can walk around of course if you're having a couples night.

I usually take reviews of Italian restaurants very lightly in Massachusetts because if you use a…read morelarge restaurant review site to find suggested Italian restaurants in most cities, Buca de Beppo and Olive Garden usually make their filthy little way into the top 10, eroding all my trust in that site. (... and humanity) Case in point, most of the Italian dishes being reviewed by diners in cities like Worcester as 'very authentic' are fairly foreign to actual restaurants in Italy. There is TRUE Italian food and American Italian food (classic 'red sauce' joints) I will never besmirch a good classic red sauce joint like Dan Tanas, Rao's or even some of the Federal Hill joints. There is a place in the culinary pantheon for amazing spaghetti meatballs and veal parm ... however 'authentic Italian' they are not. What we got at Pasta Mani is TRUE Italian. In fact, we ate here not more than 2 weeks after coming back from Italy and I can honestly say that we enjoyed our meal here (from a taste perspective) more than many of the restaurants in Italy we ate at. (One with a Michelin star!) This chef's philosophy here is one embraced in Italy ... simple, fresh, cooked with care. The reason tourists go to Italy and geek out over the food is because we've grown up eating Italian food here which is good ... but not made with the same level of passion. Eating a dish of spaghetti carbonara in Italy vs. the US is like listening to the Beatles for the first time on vinyl, in mono! It's hard to find a chef with the knowledge and respect for the ingredients that are displayed here. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu. She was not afraid to make recommendations. She knew the dish's ingredients as well as the chef ... and she was as friendly as could be. The accompanying beer and wines matched the menu perfectly and also were mostly Italian. The menu offers not a lot of choices ... but there is something for everyone. It's not heavy on meat ... but nor are menus in Italy. Maybe a reason why folks over there are not often over 6 feet tall or 200 lbs. vs. many Americans whose 4 major food groups are bacon, burgers, chicken nuggets and occasionally lobster rolls. We had the octopus, which was done perfectly ... the flavors were spot on and the chef clearly knew taste profiles as well as technique. Watermelon and octopus! Who knew? He did. We had the peach pesto cavatelli pasta and the pasta Amatricana with pancetta. Both were amazing ... the favors combined so effortlessly but perfectly. Red pepper flakes, pine nuts, grease from the bacon, tomatoes. It was all just so ... great! All the pasta was perfectly homemade ... and available for purchase as takeaway. Before we knew it, we were regrettably too full for dessert. The chef came out of the kitchen, where 80's and punk music was blasting, and you could watch the cooking happen, to greet us. He had worked in some of Seattle's better Italian restaurants and apparently learned a thing or two. If he had said he worked in Napoli, Sorrento or Rome for many years, we'd have believed it! The only thing we weren't in love with was the actual 'food hall' setup which felt a bit industrial for our liking. But, it was oddly cool and comfortable in a Momofuku type of way. This chef and his team deserve a restaurant. 5 seats and a chef's table are too small for the talent level. This was one of the best Italian meals I've had outside Italy or NYC. In Worcester, near a ballpark ... go figure. We also noticed that everything in the 'restaurant' was spotlessly clean ... and I mean spotless! We'll be back for sure. Places like this that don't serve a fried brick of chicken smothered in cream sauce and melted cheese and call it Italian are few and far between in Central Massachusetts. A great vibe, a great staff, a great meal! If ya know ... ya know.

Some prices could be more competitive; however, Amazon Prime members receive sale pricing on select items, and using the Amazon credit card earns 5% back on the entire purchase, which helps offset the premium. The self-checkout lanes work very well, and I almost always use them. There's consistently a staff member nearby to assist if needed. The traditional checkout lanes are less impressive--lines can get long, and there often aren't enough baggers during busy periods. Prepared food quality is mixed. The sushi is quite good, as are the rotisserie chickens, but some of the other prepared foods have been underwhelming. The store has a second-floor dining area, accessible by a long stairway or elevator. While the seating area is nice, it's not especially convenient if you've started your shopping and then get hungry, I don't think you can bring your cart upstairs and it's unclear where to leave a cart. For that reason, I'd likely eat first and shop afterward. By comparison, Wegmans handles this better, with dining areas on the first floor and plenty of space to bring your cart along. Wegmans also offers a noticeably stronger prepared foods selection overall. That said, I still like Whole Foods and use them regularly--for delivery (very good), pickup (also good), and in-store shopping.

On too many occasions to remember, I've gone to purchases ground beef (from the meat case) to find there is none. The excuse today around 3:30pm was that, "It was a busy day." Well, I hope so. That's what business owners usually hope for, don't they? I am a small business owner. My customers would be baffled if I told them, "Sorry, it was a busy day." Maybe the store managers in Shrewsbury would do well to visit other grocery stores in the area, especially other Whole Foods locations, to see how a meat case is still stocked in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday. This is just another case of the decline of customer service in our society.
