It was fun visiting this brewery and see what was done to the building since I was here last. This was the old Edward Buick location and I remember getting 2 of my cars here years ago. You can still see the old transom 'Buick' windows. We were seated near the bar area and we were quickly greeted by our server (never got her name and it wasn't on our check). I told her I needed recommendations because I'm not a beer drinker. Our server made a couple recommendations I might like and I chose the Shrewsbury Street Shandy and my partner got the Irish Red. My beer was actually pretty tasty (for beer), it was very smooth. Because of covid it's a Massachusetts law you must order food with your drinks (don't ask me why). This was the only bad part of Wormtown Brewery... they didn't have anything we wanted. We weren't hungry for a meal and all the appetizers were kind of lame. We picked the hoppy fries because it was one of the cheapest apps, but $8.00 for french fries!!!! They weren't very good either, so I let my partner nibble on them. I would have preferred something simpler like cheese and crackers maybe. I didn't take the food into consideration when I rated Wormtown Brewery as at this point they are forced to offer food, but next time I'll check the food menu before I visit. We ordered a second round and my partner got a Spelchck and I got a Table Talk Blueberry. They were both good, but we preferred our first selections. We had an awesome server who knew the beers pretty well to make recommendations. I'll definitely visit again.

Be Bright A-IPA, and a cool glass.

Excellent selection of brews and food. Go for one of the taproom exclusives, and find their more popular beers around town. Full kitchen, love the W brand on the bun.

Really great vibes and beer at this brewery! I've always enjoyed wormtown beers so it was a real treat to check out their dedicated spot with a much larger selection than I'd ever encountered. Highly recommend!

Food was the worst I think I've ever had a brewery or restaurant. Drinks were good though.

Nice spot to go with friends. Love the upstairs seating and the live music! Beer was good - loved the stout. Prices weren't great, but not bad either. Didn't try the food, maybe next time.

Had good beer, great service and fun atmosphere. Had a great time... bought a fun hat and a cool shirt to remember the time in Worcester!

Bring your Growlers!!! It's much cheaper than the neighbourhood liquor stores and sure hell much better. If you are a big group know that space might be an issue esp if the weather is not outdoorsy. The outdoor patio is nice but might not be ideal for a group of more than 8. As for the beers: New England ipa was a bit sweet for me however the Be Hoppy one is great if you don't care about the intricacies. Nice options and even have summer shandy now that the weather is hotter. They can collaborate with some food truck maybe(like a few in the DC area I have seen) if they don't wanna grow their kitchen. Come and enjoy this Worcester institution. Love beer? I'll find something for you out here.

My friend and I love to seek out a breweries after a conference. We don't know Worcester well so we simply chose Wormtown. A great choice. Fun and lively atmosphere. Great beer tenders. Great beer samples. My favorite was a chocolate coconut stout. Every IPA we tried was great. Be Hoppy was printed on their coasters and t-shirts. Yes, this is a good place to Be Hoppy. Bonus: a big parking lot.

I lived in Worcester between 1977 and 1987 and sure wish that Wormtown Brewery was there when I was! We had a very nice visit on Saturday and enjoyed a glass of 'Blizzard of 78' (English Style Brown Ale) and a glass of MPL (Mass Produced Lager). The beers were excellent and I picked up a Blizzard six-pack to take home. The Taproom is spacious with a lot of seating, and there's also a side room to handle the overflow on busy afternoons and nights. They have a pretty nice souvenir selection, and a cooler for you to grab your cans and bottles to go. There was a steady flow of customers walking in (especially quite a few college age women !!) to grab a flight or fill a growler, or sit and chill. The bartenders were all friendly and courteous, the atmosphere was great, and the beers were so good. Well done, Wormtown!

This used to be my favorite stop after work. Wormtown always has a nice variety of supurb beer on tap including seasonals. I met a couple here that was doing a 100 Brewery tour of the united States and wormtown made their priority list, #99 in fact. So im not the only one who enjoys this place! Wormtown really has a chill atmoshere and since Covid they added outdoor space, a quality selection of food, and you can order on your phone and never have to leave your seat! Can't get much better. The bathroom also has an - impressive - number of Brewery stickers on the walls. Very popular place. Between this place and brew city next door, this place wins every time. Be Hoppy!

This was a really cool place for a local hang out where they make their own beer.. it was super crowded but we are just here to buy some beer and we left. It's in a mini complex with other cool restaurants.

    Second floor, so much seating!

I admit I'm not much of a beer person, but Wormtown just might make me become one. The place was surprisingly empty for a Friday night, but we had a great time nonetheless. Beers are available in a variety of serving sizes, including a perfectly small 6oz amount which is absolutely PERFECT for those who want to taste a lil' bit of everything without committing to just one beer for the night (sampler kind of deal) or for those who simply don't want to drink too much. Did I mention they cost $3? Sign me up. I had the Be Hoppy which was very smooth. The place is vibey and spacious with a LOT of seating in both first & second floors. The staff were also incredibly friendly, almost too friendly - they let us finish our chess game at 10:30pm when they were supposed to close at 10pm Will definitely be back for another beer (and rematch) soon!

I personally find the Bottle Rocket Pale ale to be incredibly drinkable, and Be Hoppy is also extremely popular.

The record reflects that this brewery has been open for only 3 weeks. We didn't have high expectations because new breweries pop up everywhere, but let the verdict show I rated 3 of 4 beers I sampled a 4+ on UnTapped. The two head brewers were working hard. They were friendly and eager to engage with the courtroom patrons. The Worcester Mayor was even spotted on site!l (busted!) We approached the bench (bar) and ordered a flight to sample their 4 beers. There are currently 3 IPAs and a red ale. I don't typically enjoy red ales, but "Strict Scrutiny" was actually the favorite! I don't have any objection at this time. The atmosphere is the opposite of the cold scary courtroom, no judge is demanding silence. Acoustics are a little echoey, but it's packed so that is a good thing. Please remain standing, I am still under oath. The courthouse theme is reflected on the wall "you've been served" as well as on the beer tanks which are named after female Supreme Court justices! Poll the jury, and don't let the free pretzels sway your decision. We will definitely be back if I make bail. I have no further questions. I rest my case.
