This place is surprisingly large inside! And I saw USB and regular plugs if you need to do work. It looks like they have takeout. I guess you could say it's kind of like Panera but just salads and soups with some sandwiches. I guess the price is about average for what you pay now! I did like how my soup and salad combo came with the roll. It's a salad! It's kind of hard to mess up. I thought the dressing was pretty good. I got one of their house vinaigrettes. I ended up eating the chili later and it reheated well. Definitely not a bad place to go for lunch. Yes, definitely large enough to host a group. Kind of a weird place for root meal but hey, if that's your thing that's your thing! I don't remember if there is a kid's menu. But they definitely take credit cards.

While working at a conference at the VA Convention Center, some colleagues requested I come here…read morewith them for lunch, they said they had been before and it was really good. When we got there, at lunchtime on a weekday, they were packed, but there were a few seats open at a hightop, which we took. Service was great and attentive, as well as helpful as she offered great suggestions and explained how various dishes were made. I tried a cup of their red bean and ham soup (it was the soup du jour) as well as their open face chicken salad sandwich and both were very good. They were both made fresh, in-house with fresh ingredients. Flavors were great too. I really liked the touch of having Dijon mustard on the chicken salad sandwich. There were so many great things on the menu that I would definitely return and try more!

I'm a chef myself and travel to different restaurants regularly, so I try to be understanding. That said, the service we experienced yesterday at Stock Pot was unfortunately some of the worst I've had in quite a while. We sat outside, and it honestly felt like we were being deliberately ignored. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet we had to wait long stretches just to get basic things. At one point near the end of our meal, we asked for a box and our check. Instead of bringing it over, the waitresses stood around talking with other waitresses, while we continued to wait. After sitting there for quite a while, we eventually had to ask for the check and box, a second time. Throughout the meal the service was inconsistent. We had three different waitresses checking on us, but were left to sit for about 30 minutes alone at one point, and it took almost 20 to have our order taken, once we ordered, we had to request our appetizer again, after waiting another 20 or so minutes. Upon asking, again, we found out they were out of part of the appetizer we ordered. After that it came out quick. The food, however, was excellent and definitely the highlight of the experience. That's why this review is disappointing to write -- the kitchen is clearly doing a great job. I just hope the service side improves, because it didn't match the quality of the food.

The previous two times ended up with satisfaction. Shall the 3rd stop be icing on the cake? We were seated immediately upon walking inside. It was almost half packed which was fine with us. Decor was nice all around, the staff were friendly and customers seemed happy too. You know we can't negate that type of vibe. After looking through the menu for several minutes, I decided on ordering chicken in soy sauce (half portion) with a side of white rice and Egg Drop soup which came with crispy wonton strips. Everything was delicious. It has been a while since I've had this type of soup so I couldn't pass it up. The chicken was cooked well with plenty of soy sauce marinating the meat. I took half of it home where it was plentiful. Definitely not a bad lunch for the both of us (Sophia had the salt and pepper squid which was my go-to for previous visits). Hopefully we'll be back here sooner than later. Till next time :)

I always get the hot tea, a great start to the meal. Overall, I think the seafood fried rice is okay, I'd rather go for another meat like chicken or beef. They have pancit, which was decent. The mapo tofu is very tasty, but I wish there was more ground beef. Spice level was decent, but I would like it spicier. The garlic eggplant is one of my favsssssss!!!! A sweet soy sauce/oyster sauce taste. The Peking duck is very good, skin is crispy. The char siu pork is also very flavorful. THE WALNUT SHRIMP, it's always a winner. This is my husband's favorite. The white sauce just pairs so well with fried shrimp. The dumplings and Rangoons are thick. The dumplings are covered in sweet soy sauce. Very tasty. The pork belly was crispy just like Filipino lechon. I really enjoyed the custard buns. I do love that they have dim sum available to order all day. We have been here many times, and the dishes are always very good. They put a lot on the plate. This is definitely a place for family style. A must try!! We will be back.

I ordered the spicy umami miso ramen with tofu, karaage, and a soft-boiled egg, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, comforting, and full of flavor. I'll admit I went a little overboard with the add-ons, but I was just too excited and couldn't resist. It's a hidden gem tucked into a shopping center and easy to miss from the main road, but there's plenty of parking and once you're inside it's much more spacious than it looks. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and everything came out fresh. Prices were very reasonable too, especially for the portion sizes and quality. There's also a wide menu beyond ramen, so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more. Before leaving, I grabbed a brown sugar boba milk tea too. I was already full, so I saved it for later--but even then, it was still really good. Overall, a great first experience--I'll definitely be returning!

I chose the $25 option, which included an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert. For the appetizer, I picked the shrimp rolls and crab rangoons. You get two shrimp rolls and four crab rangoons with a side of sauce. It was a really solid starter--perfect to hold you over until the main dish. I also loved that it was a duo, so you didn't have to choose between the two. That was definitely a plus. For my entrée, I ordered the shrimp pad thai, and this was actually my first time ever trying pad thai. I wanted to try something different, and I'm so glad I did because it was really, really good. I would honestly go back just for this dish alone. The shrimp was cooked well, the noodles had the perfect amount of flavor, and the portion size was very satisfying. No complaints at all. For dessert, you can choose between coconut ice cream or fried bananas. My friend got the coconut ice cream, and I got the fried bananas, and we ended up splitting both. Together? Delicious. They do offer them together as part of the $35 option, but since we both did the $25, we just shared--and it worked out perfectly. The customer service was also great. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated right away. They kept our table clean, cleared plates quickly after each course, and checked on us throughout the meal. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and happy to give recommendations. Overall, I would definitely go back to try more of their food. They serve it 'lettuce wrap' style, with all the ingredient pre-assembled in little Romain boats which were very easy to pick up and eat and they weren't messy. Flavors were great and the ingredients were very fresh. I would definitely come back here for Thai food!
