This is my favorite Cava to go to. It's busy but the quality is usually spot on. The workers are kind and efficient and importantly the food is absolutely delicious. A bowl with honey harissa chicken or the kids meal are my go tos. The crazy feta is my favorite dip and the cucumber mint drink mixed with lemonade is my favorite drink. The aesthetic, the vibes, the whole feng shui of the place just worked. It's one of those restaurants where you instantly want to pull out your phone and take a few pictures because the space is that inviting. I love that there's both indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you're looking to soak up some fresh air or enjoy the cool comfort inside, you'll have a great spot to sit. The food? The ambiance felt really crowded, and getting our food took much longer than expected. They kept mixing up orders, which added another 10 minutes to the wait. The workers were friendly, but the process felt disorganized. They also forgot to give me my receipt and the sauces I asked for on the side, which was frustrating after already waiting so long. Cava Town center Since this was our first time here, we had to rely on the staff to help us step through the process of building a bowl or pita. Everyone there was very helpful and patient. We came during a busy time, and it was nearly 90% full and yet we never felt rushed by the staff. I built a bowl of brown rice, black lentils, olives, red pepper humus, and some terrific sweet and spicy chicken. The food was very fresh, and I felt rejuvenated after eating it! My wife had a Greek salad, slightly modified with shredded beef and chicken which was also fresh and delicious. The garlic dressing was exquisite. There are many options for building a bowl or a pita sandwich. You could go with grains and protein, or grains, greens and protein or just greens. They're also some interesting looking curated meals to select from. We will definitely return here because the food was healthy delicious and we both felt great afterwards. read more

I love CAVA it's probably my favorite fast food restaurant. I ordered CAVA today off of Uber eats and I get a call from my delivery driver saying that they were out of both white and brown rice and lentils. How can you be out of rice at an establishment like CAVA? That's like Taco Bell or chipotle running out of rice. I think it's pure laziness and they just didn't want to make more rice before they close (2 hours prior btw). It's annoying as someone who's paying money for it. I'm not one to leave reviews, but it's really really lazy and annoying and this is coming from someone who is only worked in food service their entire life. Do better. read more

CAVA arrived in Virginia Beach pre COVID and only had one opportunity to check them and dined in. Fast forward three years and change I find myself a big fan. The Town Center location is now their second on the city with other being in the Princess Anne area. It's a very popular fast casual that's caught fire and typically is crushed during lunch hour. My daughter has been one of those frequent lunch visitors. Parking is an half star deduction because it typically is challenging. Also parking near the building is too tight with a narrow path. Uber Eats and others line up in front for delivery orders. It gets very congested. Once inside it's a nice atmosphere with plenty of natural light, high ceilings and open floor plan throughout. Jump in line and look at the menu board choices and wow there are choices. Get bowls that are set with fresh ingredients, or customize to your specifications. Or go wild and completely build something original. Often you will have enough for leftovers. I have enjoyed the Lemon Chicken several times and left everything as described. My last was chicken and right rice. Don't skip on their specialty fountain drinks. I adore the Blueberry as does my daughter. The staff overall is more friendly than not. Checkouts have been smooth. Cava is one of my favorite places to eat for a quick and delicious Mediterranean bowl. Since I was in the area, I headed there around 9pm and thankfully they were still open (many places in the area close by 9pm). Unfortunately, the first thing I noticed was how messy the food area was. In previous visits, the food area has been very clean but maybe they were just busy that night and hadn't had the time to clean it. As I was selecting my bowl options, the first girl preparing my bowl didn't seem quite friendly which was also abnormal but I didn't pay it any mind. For my bowl, I chose the Grilled Chicken with a little Supergreens and Saffron Basmati Rice. I also included the Roasted White Sweet Potatoes (they are delish) with Corn, Tomato & Cucumber & Cabbage Slaw and topped it with lots of Crumbled Feta. I like my sauces on the side so I can pour as much or little as I want and my favorite go-to sauces are the Garlic Dressing, Hot Harissa Vinaigrette and the Skhug. The bowls are also served with pita bread. My bowl tasted amazing as always! I absolutely love Cava and will definitely return, I just hope the staff is a little more friendly next time and the food area is a more tidy. read more

First time for me to try CAVA. Love this place. Got here on Saturday late afternoon and still there's a line, indicative of the following CAVA has. I ordered to go: lemon chicken bowl with everything on it, pita and dressing on the side (VERY lemony!!) Everyone was so efficient in their "assembly line" of making those bowls, salads of pitas. The ingredients are very fresh (brown edges on the lettuce or bruises on spinach!), pickled onions are good, tahini and hummus are spot on. Tonight myself and my girlfriend visited, and a particular staff whom I didn't catch the name of (working on the night of June 18, 2025) was extremely disrespectful and LAZY. We had to BEG her to go to the storage and get toppings that they didn't have out at the station, and she blatantly lied to our faces and told us they didn't have sauces, which another employee then revealed to the customer after us. My girlfriend was upset, and went back into the store to get sides of sauces because she saw another gentleman request them. The employee she spoke with (possibly the manager) told my girlfriend to go to the line and ask the same employee as before, who was AGAIN disrespectful towards her and treated retrieving sauces as if it was a strenuous task. I opt for 1/2 Black Lentils 1/2 Super Greens Hummus Harissa Spicy Hummus Cabbage Salad Pickles Grilled Chicken Avo Topped with Lemon Tahini and Greek dressing. Seriously so good. Each bowl includes a mini pita, great for dipping. 4 stars because freshness is a hit and miss and although friendly the customer service is a bit slow. Store is kept pretty clean, a few cold beverage options available and packaged desserts. Cava is a great substitution for Fast Food Take out. read more

After hanging out at Gelati Celesti, my girlfriend and I headed her for some lunch. Basically they're like Chipotle where you stand in line and order your food for either dine-in or takeout. At Cava, they serve Mediterranean food which can be a bit healthier. So, what was the result? Once we got in line, it was very simple to order your meal. For me it was a pita which included the following: grilled chicken, saffron basmati rice, black lentils, hummus spread, Tzatziki spread, roasted eggplant spread, fire-roasted corn, cabbage slaw, tomato/onion salad and Tahini Ceasar dressing along with Cava's bottled water. Basically, this was an equivalent of ordering everything but the kitchen sink. Overall, it was good even though it was a lot to where you couldn't close the pita wrap. And eventually, I had to use a fork to eat. The only negative was I thought the black lentils would've been a little smoother instead of hard. Next time we come back, I'll just stick with a hummus spread and rice. But again, the meal was good. Not a bad first time to Cava. And we did come at a good time because when we got seated, the line went across the floor for ordering. Talk about timing! We did the chicken mediterranean salad without olives and it was seriously delicious - we tore it apart in like 2 minutes. Salad base or rice base with all kinds of fresh veggies mixed in to your tastes and you can easily sub and add more of a certain item if you'd like. You can choose a bed of greens. Basmati rice, lentils, just right rive or go crazy like I did and choose 50/50. What the heck. Go hard or go home. I chose the Super Greens and Just Rice Rice( which is not rice) for a $1 up charge. I added roasted eggplant and two types of Hummus and my mix ins.... Uuuuu weeeee momma! Now I'm getting hungry and excited It's protein time! I see some freshly grilled chicken and so I point quickly like a kid in a candy store and also the Harissa Honey chicken which is the most popular. Now it's time to make it rain! With toppings that is... I was advised that there is NO LIMIT! Ok now I'm sure I am doing a happy dance I add a little bit of everything. And add a side of falafel I am given warm pita bread and choice of sauces for my bowl. For a little under $14 I was able to make two meals out of one bowl. I've now been to all 3 southside locations and this one is a touch above the others - top notch service, fresh food and great atmosphere! We stopped in this past weekend right at noon on Saturday. The weather was perfect and there were plenty of open tables for us to enjoy our lunch outdoors. When we arrived, we found a very clean restaurant with multiple staff waiting to assist. The young man who first helped us in the line was so kind, polite and welcoming. My husband's was the first meal to be ready and another young woman helped ring us up while my and my daughter's meals were still being prepped. You can tell they know how to be efficient, as it was starting to pick up at the lunch rush. Hubby had the lemon chicken bowl and subbed falafel. I had a greens bowl with chicken and we got the mini pita with chicken for our little one. Every ingredient was very fresh and tasty. I LOVE their grilled chicken - so much flavor and just the right amount of spice. Another favorite of mine is the roasted vegetables when I want something a tad lighter. I will say ordering in person guarantees you get the portions you like. I generally opt for light tzatziki and hummus with just a sprinkling of feta. They have a variety of juices, teas and naturally-sweetened sodas at the fountain. They also offer recyclable, plant-based utensils and paper straws, which automatically earns a bonus star in my book! The staff alone was worth 5 stars - pleasant individuals who are happy to help! I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of CAVA in Hampton and this location pales in comparison. The food options were fresh and I do appreciate the server letting me know that the lamb meatballs and chicken harrisa options are available for an additional fee. Both were tasty but the portion was paltry considering the upcharge. Boasting an assortment of flavored waters, milk, juice, and my go-to option of ginger beer around $2.50 each. Service is efficient and the workers seemed almost robotic as they kept pace with the influx of customers. My build your own bowl was fresh and flavorful. While I enjoyed it, I'll have to really be in the mood to return. not a negative experience but mundane. read more

Wow, excellent! Wasn't sure what to expect, but the outside looked pretty cool so we decided to check it out. I ordered a honey chicken + avocado, and it was outstanding. The nice thing is as with many of these new restaurant types you can see something you like and ask to have it added, which is great as I added black lentils to mine. They also put 1/2 of an avocado on it! The quality of the ingredients seemed very good, and the entire visit inspired my wife and me to stop by the grocery store and pick out ingredients to see if we could recreate our orders. The reason is, CAVA is in VA Beach Towne Center, and we live in North Suffolk. Hopefully CAVA will consider expanding to our area soon. read more

Wait a minute, let me back up a minute... Being that I only tend to get CAVA on Saturdays, maybe their bad service is a weekend thing. That said, helpful hint: You'd be better served going in and ordering your food there as opposed to ordering it ahead of time because you'll be waiting forever. This is the third week that I've ordered ahead of time and found myself 6th in line. The line is so long, and the folks who order their food aren't a particular priority, that I was waiting 15 minutes before writing this entire review. And I'm still in line. Look, I get it. Being from NoVa, I'm surprised myself that I've never tried Cava before so I was quite excited when they came to Town Center. The options - a must try! So many variations of greens, protein, and sauces. I love how you can add as much as you want and even better I appreciate the size of their bowl. You can mix everything up with spillage. Pita bread accompanies it as well; delicious! Kind employees, clean location, and there never seems to be much of a wait. Haven't tried their drinks, but interesting variety.
