Why is the grilled cheese two mini pieces of bread for $4? You can get an entire loaf of bread at the grocery store for $4. I promise this was not a kids grilled cheese... which is crazy. Broccoli cheddar is always good. Service is quick. Ambience is clean and there is enough parking. Can't get over the grilled cheese size. read more

My daughter and I arrived around 1 pm - end of lunch basically and it was still very busy. Surprisingly it was still quick service , the young lady was friendly and smiled the entire time which I always appreciate! My daughter got the Chicken Chipotle Avo sandwich. I did an everything bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese and a cute pumpkin cookie. She gave us a buzzer so we knew when our order was ready. Love this so we aren't standing around in the way. Food came out quickly. Exactly wha we ordered and looked good. I've never tried a sandwich from Chipotle before but my daughter said it's one of the best. With chipotle mayo, chicken, roasted tomatoes, cheese and cilantro it looked like. Nothing to complain about and that's always a great thing! read more

We stopped in here before a trip to Costco so we didn't buy out the store . You order up front on a kiosk. Our food came quickly and it was good. The portions are decent and the food was hot. The big issue was the cleanliness of the seating area. It just looked like it needed a good deep cleaning. Hopefully this gets addressed read more

Was here yesterday with my Wife to have Lunch. The Food was alright, but not like it used to be. The Service isn't the Greatest as well since you place your Order at a Kiosk, and have to get it yourself when they either call your name or the Buzzer goes off. As for Ambiance, it could use some Cleaning in the Lobby area, and the Outside as well with people just hanging around just Smoking or Drinking with Food from other places. Not sure if we will come back here again in the near Future or not. read more

I was stuck at work for lunch so I ordered Panera ahead of time off of DoorDash. My order came on time, hot and made perfectly. I had the toasted Caprese sandwich and a cup of creamy tomato soup. The sandwich/soup combo on a cold winter day is very satisfying and comforting. I'll be ordering from this location again. read more

It's Panera...you have eaten there before so you already know it's fresh, well made, and delicious. But if you want SUPERB customer service with a smile and a little wit--then come to THIS PANERA and if you are lucky, you will get waited on by LINDA. Single-handedly, she made our lunch experience that much more pleasant. I'm a vegan; my husband is not. She patiently explained the vegan options to me and let me know they could customize the vegetarian Mediterranean sandwich to make it vegan. She upsold pastry and drink options and because she was so convincing, we got a cookie and a delicious basil and strawberry lemonade simply because she was soooo convincing! Panera, you have a GEM with Ms.Linda at the register. I hope you recognize in a day and time when customer service is sub par, you have a true Diamond! read more

I personally love this Panera. One, its close to ky house and two, I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at all but that could just be me. I noticed mixed reviews on Panera but I've personally never had a problem. I love their Broccoli Cheddar soups. I've been getting that same soup everytime i go and im feeling some soup. Their bagels are a go to as well especially their Cinnamon Crunch, its sooooooo good. As for their food and baked good, It's also very fresh. Customer Service is always Great! The service is also amazing. I love how nice the people are. As for their location, yes i mentioned theyre close to my house but as per the area, its in Town Center so thats a plus there. I like their set up and how you can chill and eat outside too. Overall, I never had a bad experience at this Panera location and will always continue going. I recently got a Cinnamon Crunch bagel basically for free because of their app. So download the app now and start saving on some pure yummyness! read more

I used to visit the 1st Colonial, Virginia Beach location a lot. Discover the soups in grocery store recently and decided to introduce my partner to the sandwich collection. It was about 4pm, store was not busy at all. A grumpy cashier was standing by the registe, she did not asked us if she can help us! I asked her if she can tell me what a Chicken Bacon Rancher was, without making eye contact with me and her head pointing down , she said; "A Sandwich" I replied yes, I know but can she please tell me what does it consist of? Once again she did not make eye contact , head still down , she mumbled really fast; " Chicken, Bacon and the rest I could not hear" At this point I decided to take my business elsewhere. Extremely rude, she should not work with the public, let het bake bread in the back. read more

Anybody here know what an "expo" is?? No? Me neither yet it would appear I should. First time here and, after placing an online order, I followed the instructions to check the shelf for my order. One other order sat when I arrived but not mine. I patiently waited, only one other customer present at this early hour and still no food. Two employees behind the counter chatted amongst themselves but never offered assistance. Finally, TEN minutes after the promised time, I inquired only to learn my food sat somewhere behind the scenes--NOT where instructions said to look. Further inquiry was "hey, we don't have an expo this early." HUH?!? First and last visit. Abhorrent customer service. No one here cares one bit that the lone customer waiting for food hadn't been served. WaWa cares more! read more

My favorite sandwich is tuna on a croissant. They don't have croissant for lunch and because their tuna salad is so good I get white. The tuna is always slapped on one side, the tomato and lettuce halfway slacked on the other side. Take more care. read more

The old lady at the front register this morning on April 14th is rude. I had a question about the sip club drinks and the response I got from her was "just grab your cup" in a very rude manner. Customer service is non existent in this area, it's sad. I'm just gonna eat at home from now on lol read more

Friendly service, Their chicken sandwich was over 12 dollars and it is 1/2 the size of Chick-fil-a. I am not impressed. Flavor was good and I loved the pickle chips on it but you could tell they were not made fresh it was just something out of a bag. We went because I had a gift card. It was not super clean and they were not really that busy. It was an OK experience. There are other good places to eat in this particular area. read more

This is my go to Panera in Town Center. I have dined here over 7 years or longer and have also used curbside. However today was a first for delivery through Door Dash. I placed my order on the app which is very easy to use. My loyalty number and credit card were attached to the account making it very convenient. Checkout was a breeze., A confirmation was sent to my email with a link to track my order through Door Dash. The timeframe was approximately 30 minutes. The system was darn nifty. The tracking worked flawlessly and a confirmation of the drop + photo of the order at the door was received for a contactless delivery. Wow! This was really good! The order of pizza, soup and sandwich arrived in a large bag with tape over the top. The pizza and soup was still warm. My sandwich was either incorrect or they forgot bacon. Since the Bacon Turkey Bravo is a regular sandwich it did not taste same, not bad just different. Everything taste wise was good. I contacted the store to advise the sandwich was not correct and they apologized and issued a refund for the error. This type of customer service exceeded my expectations. Thank you Panera and I will order take out again soon. read more

Often runs out of breakfast items early on. Rapid order is more like slow order. Not what it used to be

I don't usually come to this location. I usually go to the Greenbrier location. By this location by far there, everything bagel was outstanding the taste and everything bagel is amazing cooked perfectly so fresh and light and fluffy. The amount of egg that I got was great not just thin like I've gotten from the other locations. My order came out quickly. This location all the tables were clean, not crowded at all. the music is not too loud. read more

The Chicken Salad sandwich was really good. A heaping helping of chicken salad was served on delicious homemade, thick sliced bread. The sandwich also comes with tomato slices and fresh greens. The meal alsobcomes with a bag of chips. All around a really good sandwich. Now the reason for the rating was the horrible condition of the dining area and the restaurant in general. The restaurant is very run down, from the non-functioning self ordering station to the dirtiness. The place does a brisk business with lots of carry out business. The place seems understaffed and those working are really busting it. It's the poor condition of the restaurant that no amount of wiping down will fix. Panera Corporate needs to spend some money on their stores and update/fix. See pictures. I was trying be respectful of diners and capture the absolute disheveled appearance which is throughout the place. read more

I'd like to share feedback regarding a recent experience at your store. The cashier (Linda) I interacted with was very rude and dismissive, which made the experience quite unpleasant. I expect a basic level of courtesy and professionalism when coming to dine in your store, and unfortunately, that was not the case during today's visit. I told her as I was leaving that I did not complain to the manager because I feel bad for her, but she said some unpleasant words and yelled.i hope this can be addressed to improve the customer experience going forward. read more

Located near town center, this location is usually busy but very accommodating! Upon walking in, there's outside seating perfect for spring/summer weather and many booths/tables inside. I love how they have some tables in little nooks and crannies for those visiting to complete work. It's a good environment to do so. For ordering, they have their regular cashiers and fast lane kiosks. I opted for the cashiers since I had a free You Pick Two coupon. The employee was straight to the point, though she did have some problems getting the register to accept the discount. The manager had to be called over, but it was really no big deal. After ordering, I had a seat on the small couch by the order screen that tells you the place of your order. How exciting! There's less to be imagined, which I like. I didn't even have to stand by the output counter because there was an employee there delegating orders. Great decision so everyone isn't clawing through others' foods. I took my food home and it was still good. Being that my order was takeout, I had napkins, silverware, and chips included. The Mac and cheese was so cheesy and delightful, extra points for it being with white cheese! The four cheese grilled cheese was okay, but not fully what I expected. My bread didn't taste toasted at all and the cheese was stuck to one side to the point my bread wasn't even sticking together. It was good, but could've been better. read more

Bryant, the store manager, has amazing customer service. I walked in and he immediately asked if he could get anything for me. I ordered bagels and usually forget to ask to slice it, but he had asked me if I wanted them sliced. He patiently waited as I decided which bagels I wanted. The staff were all friendly and I will be returning. I had ordered a side cream cheese and called the restaurant back after getting home because it was not what I ordered. He immediately apologized and asked if I could return to get the right one. I did have a mask on and it may have sounded like a different one than the one I wanted. Again, customer service is amazing here. Bagels and other food ordered was good too. read more

There is something to be said about greeting customers with a smile. At Panera you expect the quality of food, which is second to none. This place is always crowed but people work in a fast pace and the customer service are good. The cinnamon crunch bagel and broccoli cheddar soup are must get item but they were out of the cinnamon crunch when I was there so I ordered the Thai Salad instead, and it was awsome! I remember I had this salad around 2 years ago and the sauce was kinda too sweet and nothing taste extremely good, but this time they really did improved a lot ob this salad. This time there is a smoky flavor in the carrots bites and the red pepper, the sauce is peanutty and not too sweet... I also had the passion papaya green tea, not sure if that flavor is papaya or not but it's fine it's refreshing. Overall everything is good, the only thing is that they will charge you a dollar and some change for a cream cheese, while I can buy a pin for like 2 dollars lol read more

I absolutely LOVE Panera's new app and rapid check out line! You can use it to order ahead, pay, and pick up without waiting in line! You can also further customize your order without confusing a cashier or feel like you're being judged when you're adding extra chicken to your already meaty Caesar Salad ;) All of the options are in front of you as well, with little photos, and all the prices. I use it to get lunch, or even a bakers dozen of bagels on Tuesdays, so all I have to do is look on the shelf and find that glorious bag with my name on it. read more

We ordered 6 cinnamon crunch bagel and a order of Honey Walnut Cream Cheese spread from Panera Bread today. The bagels were good of course. The issue is the spread. You use to get a tub of cream cheese that was enough for 6 bagels. This one was enough spread for one bagel. I know that companies will give smaller products for the same price but this is ridiculous. We they need to give customers a choice for a bigger choice. This appears was not worth $ 1.30. Every time visiting this location my food just taste off. I eat panera often and get the same thing every time... The ingredients are never fresh here. Lettuce looks gross. I recently had an unpleasant experience at the Panera location on Constitution Dr. I placed a small order of two items using their self-serve kiosk, but the kiosk didn't provide me with a printed receipt. When my order was ready, I only received one of the two items I ordered. I informed the young woman at the counter, but she was dismissive and rude, insisting that I only ordered one item without checking her system. I left feeling frustrated and unsure if I made a mistake or if she did. Later that evening, I discovered that my receipt had been placed in my bag, and it showed that I ordered and paid for two items. I called the store the next morning and was able to receive a refund for the missing item. I suggest that Panera retrain its staff to provide better service. As someone who has worked in service-oriented industries my entire life, I have never treated a customer the way I was at this location. Due to this experience, I will be visiting a different Panera location in the future. (also, what I did receive for food was old and stale tasting -- not good). read more
