DO NOT ORDER THE PASTRAMI! First of all, I love the staff here and their sandwiches are always top notch. Jersey Mike's in general has my favorite subs. But today I tried the classic pastrami because it looked amazing...swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard - yes please! But it was the WORST pastrami sandwich I have ever had, and I've had a lot. It was literally half fat. Every piece of pastrami looked like uncooked fatty bacon. It was like chewing on rubber with a giant chunk of fat in literally every bite. Tried to remove the fatty parts but it was literally 50% fat. I don't know who their supplier is but it's absolutely horrible. read more

For some reason, they were not up to the Standards that Jersey Mike's is known for. They were made the same as they should, but for some reason, they did not. We're not sure why though. I don't know why I went into this experience with the taste expectation of the Vito from Jimmy John's, but that was what I was expecting. What I got was a thick, meaty sub. It tasted kind of bland and I think I should have gotten more salt, pepper and oregano on it. I don't know if it's maybe the wheat bread, but it wasn't as good as I was wanting. I payed extra for portobello mushrooms and they forgot it. They also disregard the online portion that states something along the lines of "custom note" so if you go to this location, keep that in mind. I asked for something on the side and didn't get it. By the time I realized this I was too far away. Overall, the food was good, but I wish they got the order right seeing as they had the order right in front of them and once again, I payed extra. I am a huge Jersey Mike's fan, but this wasn't one of the best locations I've been to. My biggest disappointment was that the staff wasn't overly friendly, I don't think I saw any of the staff members smile. The Cancro special (roast beef, pepperoni, and provolone, it's a hidden gem!) was excellent, though I was hoping for a little more cherry pepper relish on it. But you get a nice sized portion of meat, they don't skimp on it. I am still hoping one day they will drop the Pepsi and switch back to Coke! read more

Although I'm not big on chain restaurants, I do love this place. The employees here are pretty attentive, I almost always get the Turkey & Provolone sub, and yes you got to get it "Mike's way", Italian seasonings, Onions, Lettuce, Tomato,Olive Oil and Vinegar. I agree with the other 3/5 star reviews mostly. I was honestly expecting a decent sub however. There was nothing special or different, or even, for that matter, particularly tasty about either of the sandwiches I purchased. I decided to go classic and order a turkey and a roast beef. Neither were very good. The turkey tasted refrigerated and the roast beef was dry. There was little to no flavor in either sandwich, and in fact I'm pretty certain that they didn't even add the salt, which comes standard unless you ask to do without it. Overall, I'd say that their slogan "a sub above" is 100% inaccurate and they ought to either change that, or change their process. read more

Tonight we were greeted with "you know what you want?" at the front door. We have not even made it to the counter to take a peek at the menu board. The subs were delicious--just as always at Jersey Mike's. We just were not impressed at the way we were greeted at the front door and during the check out process. We felt that the attendant could have waited until we were a little closer to the menu board. I was going to request a change to my sub and the attendant yelled abruptly-"Excuse me?! " I said -"Never mind". It seemed as if it was a bother for me to say anything or make any requests at this time. Also I'm not sure if there is a new policy - but I was told at a previous visit that they can't cut my sub for me and that they do not have any knives for me to cut my sub. (Huh?) So, if they will not stock any plastic knives- can they ask if we want our subs cut halves or thirds at least? Hopefully, this is just a one time incident. The food is always amazing but if the customer service does not improve -We may not return. For not so great customer service- we rated the experience with 3 stars otherwise it would have been 5 stars. read more

Very disappointed! I went in at 8:15 pm to get a meatball sub and a sub club. They told me they were not serving the meatballs subs, I guess because they were closing. I went there to get my 'Free' birthday sub. I ordered a Big Kahuna hot sub as my freebie. Then I ordered a Classic Italian cold sub with bag of chips that I would pay for. The cold sub was SOAKED in vinegar..the bottom bread was all soggy. The taste was non existent, horrible. The cold sub regular price was supposed to be 7.45, chips .99 and they said I owed 10.75. I said that's not right ,,then they said 9.97 Which I paid , and I know they cheated me but I just didn't want to Argue anymore. I enjoy Jersey Mike's for their cheesesteak subs. It's the right amount of melted cheesy goodness to keep me lickin my fingers after every bite. I think this was my first visit to jersey mikes? or its been so long since my initial visit that I don't even remember trying them...I'm leaning towards my first visit though. Anywho I was in the area and had a coupon for a freebie so I stopped in. It was mid day and they were dead but everyone greeted me, there were two people working on my meal...one guy cutting the meat and rang me up and a girl putting the sandwich together. The girl seemed like she didn't want to be at work and didn't care to be there either, I asked her about some of their peppers (how did they taste?). She literally stared at me and said I don't know followed by silence....you know that meme where puff daddy and the guy from that singing show just stare at each other? yeah that was us...she really didn't give AF and it really caught me off guard. So then I ask if they're sweet? or spicy? attempting to reel the conversation in...she said I think there a little sweet.. and after that I passed all together. Jersey Mike's is your typical sub shop. There's a bunch of them around the city, and a new one recently opened by Lynnhaven Mall. I've been to this location most. The subs I have gotten here have always been good. I've never had any major issues here. The quality of the food is good, but the prices are a bit higher than other places where you can get similar sandwiches. Be sure to join their sub club if you come here multiple times, as you can earn free subs, and even get a free sub and drink on your birthday, which I took advantage of recently as well. read more
