The cheesy fries were dried out hard and crunchy but not in a good way. These are thin fries that were overcooked and there's no way the cook didn't see it. If it hadn't been so late at night I would have taken them back. The chicken wrap had 1 small thin dry overcooked piece of chicken. I'm talking 1/2 inch wide 1/8 inch thick. The whole wrap was as a small taco. I've never eaten at WaWa and I'll never eat there again. read more

Every single time I go to this Wendy's I am met with some obstacle. Either they're not opened during business hours, I have to order on the app only or I have to come inside. It's a joke at this point and I very much feel it's intentional and due to the staff being irresponsible and lazy. Just close down at this point. read more

This is by far the worst Wendy's on the planet. If ever a fast food location needed to be burned to the ground, it's this one. I mean, if you love being the only one in the drive-thru line and still waiting nearly an eternity to be recognized, this restaurant is for you. If you are a fan of your fries tasting like cardboard, this place is for you. Look, I know people in the service industry work very hard and take too much shit from people like me. But the people who work at this particular Wendy's location are so phenomenally bad at their jobs, it's as if they get a kick out of it. Like it's one of their kinks. Like I said before: Evacuate the building. Have a team of people douse the place with all matters of highly flammable liquids. And then proceed to burn this place to the f*cking ground. The world will be a better place for it. read more

This is a niche review, but I'm a delivery driver. This Wendy's had me deliver a meal and a small bottle of milk (something out of a kid's meal). The person I delivered to claimed it was opened and half drunken. The customer called the store and the management blamed it on me. In what world would a delivery driver drink half a bottle of milk before handing it to a customer? Anyways, be weary of your kid's meals and check for the Wendy's "half off special" before letting them drink it. read more

Wendy's - Fast Food Near Me - Norfolk, Virginia

The workers must be related to slugs, snails, and turtles with how ABYSMALLY SLOW they are. Waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes and I'm STILL not at the speaker, and that was just with two cars in front of me. Scratch that, almost 20! And only now am I at the speaker and they really had the gall to say "Be with you in a sec." My ass. AT LEAST my food was ready since I had a mobile order, hell forbid I had to wait for that too. Never go here bro. read more

The worst Wendy's ever. They took about seven minutes to take my drive thru order. I pulled around and flies were flying out of the window. I went inside to complain about my order to witness employees standing around talking , laughing and horse playing. No ice in the lobby drink machine. I was very concerned with my food that looked thrown together in a bag. Go elsewhere . It's a ridiculous amount of flies in this place which says a lot read more

This is the worst location ever, i went on a Saturday night and they claim not to take your orders only mobile in DoorDash , if you can make food for them why can't they make food for me? Either your open or closed read more

Went to get a biggie bag at 5:00pm , came into the establishment to no one taking orders the manager's were sitting down, while the crew was struggling. . Already being short staffed , not to mention the drive there was around the building! This is the worst Wendy's o been to in my life (would give 0 stars if possible ) read more

Customer service review ONLY - rude. Whoever was manager on the evening of 5/19 (female with braids) was extremely short and rude. ordered a chicken salad and asked for crispy chicken - that was an issue. Asked to add on a fry in the window with no line and was told to drive around to reorder, another issue. I'm not sure what kind of working conditions the employees work in but the attitude is UNNECESSARY!! read more

I've been here several times. 12/29/18 was probably the worse visit I've ever experienced. We waited in the drive thru line over 20 mins with only one car ahead of us, and our food order was wrong. On top of that, the nuggets were old and dry. I don't expect much from fast food restaurants, but I do expect my food to be fresh after waiting that long. We won't be back. read more

What's the point of a mobile order if I still have to wait 10 minutes? Fry's are near raw. And what's the point of sitting at the bush?? So you can't see everyone not doing there job in the kitchen?? Awful food and service. read more

Went to the drive thru, ordered 3 spicy chickens, one a meal, a Dave's double with ketchup and mustard only meal. A 10 piece, and 2 wndys bag meals. Was asked to pull to the next door so they could bring me the food. Ordered at 5:29 per receipt, the manager refused to give me back. After 10 minutes waiting in the car, they brought my food out. I checked my order as it was a large one. I was missing 2, 4 pc. That went with my Wendy's bag meals. I went inside and MANAGER stated I would have to wait. OK but mean while they are serving drive thru nuggets one after the other. I then said, hey I have been standing her with my food for 5 minutes waiting on my nuggets. Now I will need new fries. Few more minutes pass by, they are still serving drive thru and I'm still waiting. At this time I have all the food on the counter and ask for my refund of 62 and change. She refused and repeated to tell me to wait. 4 more mintes of vwrbal abuse from this manager, i take my messed up order, my pride and left, with hopes to be refunded tomorrow by the district manager after watch the video feed. I will never step foot in another wendys. Thank to over entitled so called manager at this spot. Hope some day you learn how to treat others that spend high dollar in your small chain restaurant. Went to get a late night snack tonight. Ordered fries, Chocolate frosty & craft lemonade. Service and food is absolutely terrible and has been for a good 1-2 years now. Actually surprised they're still in business. They even have people back up in the drive thru so they don't trip whatever sensors they have in the lane and take their sweet time afterwards. Honestly pathetic and needs to be shut down. I don't make reviews. read more

If that lady don't wanna work at Wendy's then that's her problem, but she don't need to bring her attitude and rudeness to the job. Point-blank. However that chicken biscuit was too good, so I leave three stars. read more

The manager at this restaurant has a nasty attitude. I believe he was upset because the kiosk was frozen and an employee had to actually take my order. I did order a large strawberry lemonade and he yelled, No more refills on lemonade!" she put my cup down and he said, go on and give it to her this time"! Just nasty for no reason. The food was good but the ghetto mentality of the manger was deplorable! Get a new job sir! Wendy's on Military Highway in Norfolk Virginia read more

come one son, should not have to tell you about this wendys. This is not a crap wendys, but its fast food. You already know what you are going to get. I will say that if you order your food make sure you are super specific about what you want. Sometimes it seems like they are not paying attention. When you get your food, its meh. It is what it is. Bravo Wendy's! 5-star service! We grabbed dinner here through the drive thru before heading to the DMB concert and were thoroughly impressed! The wait time was a tad bit longer than other drive thrus we've been to but we agreed that their organization and food quality made up for it! The girl at the window who handed us the food was fantastic! Each meal was bagged separately, which was awesome!!! (Compared to when it's all jammed into one bag and it is a pin in the a** to hand out everyone's meal.) As she handed me each bag, she told me what was inside so I could then pass it to be hungry recipient. Same with the drinks! Didn't leave us in a guessing game as to which is which. Napkins, straws and even ketchup packets were tucked inside each bag as well. Kudos. Everyone's food was hot and delicious. I went with a new menu item: the spicy chicken sandwich (#6 on the menu) and it was AWESOME! (Highly recommend!!!) Definitely hit this place up if you are in the area! Well done Wendy's, well done! read more

This was my worst Wendy's experience because of the service and food availability. They were out of half the menu and frustrated with me when I tried to figure out alternatives. They didn't give me my full food order and I had to drive back and get it. When I called before returning they had me on speaker phone and it was impossible to understand a word that was said on the phone. The staff were rude. Do not go to this location. read more

Do the employees at this location hate their jobs? Very rude behavior and practically threw our food out the window. Date and time is 04/26 @ 6:45pm. If I was the manager, I'd fire every one of them. read more

Went through the drive through on 12-28-21 at 6:45 pm. There were 5 cars in front of me. Every single car was greeted with "can you wait". When I came to order 45 minutes later, I was given the same greeting. I was told that they are short staffed and that they are only doing two orders at a time. I drove away without any food. Unless you have 45+ min to spend for a fast food order, go somewhere else. If you don't have adequate staff to operate, please close your business, I can get a burger anywhere. read more

I did a drive thru order Sunday night. I had a craving for a frosty and the small is only fifty cents. I ordered a frosty and an order of fries. The fries were cold. why they let employees come to work with no bra and the place is just dirty. food is terrible

This rating is more about the service rather than the food. The food I recieved was fresh and tasty but the service was terrible. I went through the drive thru and the young lady that was helping me was more concerned about her conversation with her coworkers than taking my order. I only say that because she forgot to turn her mic off and I could here the entire conversation. Not to mention it took her 3 times to get my order correct because she failed to pay attention. When I got to the window it was about 3 or 4 young ladies together just standing around. The service was so bad the girl had to ask me if I had paid already. It took about 10 minutes to get my food and when I did they forgot to put fries in the bag. This Wendy's honestly is always pretty bad. If it wasn't convenient I'd never come to this location. read more

The staff weren't friendly and my food was cold although I had to wait about 10 minutes. I'm not really sure what happened there. The all natural lemonade isn't all natural. It's a powered mix put into water. It tasted like it was diet drink with a weird after taste. With family at the nearby hospital, I was hoping for more than a vending machine or hospital cafeteria. Hoping this was a fluke and they were having an off day! read more

Staff is super rude and very impersonal. It seemed I was doing them a disservice for being there.

I am so pissed at this Wendys right now. I had to definitely write a review. After waiting in the drive thru for 10 min bc they were backed up, I eventually ordered a Asiago Chicken Sandwich with no tomatoes and waited until I got home to really check it. So on the sandwich there is Asiago cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and ranch. I check my sandwich and all I have is a chicken patty, lettuce, ranch, and a damn tomato. I didn't even get the cheese the sandwich is named after! I paid $8 for a regular ass chicken sandwich. It wasn't worth the trip to go back bc all they would have done was probably spit in my food and get the order wrong again. So taking my anger out in this review will have to do. Bc of this experience alone, I will never eat here again. Ever. read more

If I could give 0 stars i would. I don't know how this Wendy's is still open. Always terrible service. I managed to sit at the screen for 20 minutes with no service. Someone briefly told me to give them a second while i waited another 10 minutes before being helped. When i got to the window, i wanted to make sure my order was correct because there seemed to be some miscommunication, and was met with attitude. I understand that the service industry isn't the easiest but still. There needs to be some sort of standard and this wasn't it. Find a different location or somewhere else to eat. read more

This is not only the worst Wendy's I've ever been to but literally the worst fast food restaurant I've ever been to, not to mention the slowest. Every single time I pull up to order, I'm told to wait a moment yet I notice there will be only one car in the whole drive thru besides me. After coming there a couple times I realized they are actually only allowing one car order at a time. I pulled up to the window and the girl at the window tells me to back up 5 feet, when my food is ready she tells me to pull forward. So in my confusion I ask why and the girl says if I sit at the window their wait time goes up, which is also why they only take one order at a time. That just pissed me off even more because im actually waiting even longer just so they can make it appear like they have low wait times. I could really care less what your wait times look like, these little tricks and schemes are extremely inconvenient to me and it's like this every single time I come there. If I could give 0 stars I would because wtf even is this? The slowest Wendy's I've ever been to and I would truly suggest no one bother stopping to eat there. doesn't matter if there are cars wrapped around the store, they will only do one order at a time and won't take the next order until the first car leaves. Literally ridiculous way to handle a drive thru read more

Supposed to close at 2am and I was there at 130am with no one helping me at Drive thru. So I called and the worker answered and I replied with what time do you all close and he had the nerve to hang up on me. Must be nice to close early and get paid for being open. read more

if i could give zero stars i would. this was the closest wendy's to me and noticed it was one star and didn't think much of it because you know, a wendy's is a wendy's, but now i understand. first they took forever to get to me in the drive thru. and was difficult to talk to. now they did give me all my food so i'll give them that, but when i got home i gave my 3 year old brother the nuggets i bought for him and there was a bone in it !! it could have ended way worse than what it did. if you could avoid this wendy's i DEFINITELY recommend you do. read more

This place is bottom of the barrel in fast food. Had the drive thru person yelling at me through the speaker. Granted those things suck but no reason to be rude. Upon payment. People were unbelievably rude and then thrown my card back at me. When they through my food at me. I new exactly what I was in for. Garbage for lunch. My burger looked as if it was kicked across the floor. Burger was dry. Fries tasted like mush. McDonalds is right next door. Wawa and Taco Bell is across from them. Those would be better options than this dump. read more

I go to Wendy's because there's (usually) a high chance the food will be good. I've lived in 7 different cities and travel more than I'd prefer, and I like this chain is more for its consistency than anything else. Unfortunately, the Newtown location brings the wrong kind of consistency to mind. It's the closest location to my house so we stop there every now and again. Fries are burnt and mushy at the same time (how does that happen???), vegetable water making the burger sauce drip everywhere, more ice in the cup than chick fil a could ever dream of. It's always bad. Every. Single. Time. read more

I've been to this location multiple times at different time of day to give them a chance.. this location is dreadful. Slow, poor quality food and customer service. I get the same thing all the time. I know it's real, I'm not delusional. Cheesy cheddar burger. I worked at Wendy's in 2012 when this burger was very popular. I'm assuming because it's no longer on the value menu they no longer train their employees how to make it. Why am I being told Wendy's doesn't do that anymore when I got one TODAY at another location less than 6 hours ago. Also their fryer was literally spraying oil all over the place as I was explaining my order to the cashier read more
