What a place for soup and salad lovers alike. One word to describe this place.... "Fresh". Everything is fresh cut and ready for a salad creator and did I create a flavorful salad alasobrado. Talk about cleanliness, airy, bright and the folks working great. Love the Broccoli and cheese soup, So so good... My body is going into shock with all this healthiness. This location recently reopened and everything is so fresh! The salad bar was clean, and the employees were all very friendly. UPDATE: I returned with the hubs in tow! The gloves were replenished and we used them! (Yes!) The greens (all types offered) were pristine and beautifully colored. (Yes!) The staff was just as great as before, the restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holidays, and they're firing on all cylinders! I knew you had it in you, Salad Station! Cheers! ____ Ok-- BEST salad I've ever made for myself, and if you haven't tasted the warm garlic chicken on a salad, you're doing it wrong! #NoCap Buffet style is not my jam, like ever. However it didn't make my OCD flare up as upon entering, I was greeted by a sanitizing station and (although they were out of them) I saw signage and the option for gloves. Okay, I can deal! To cut to the chase-- I'm a fan, the plethora of toppings, the flavors I was able to create in one bowl along with that hibiscus lemonade will bring me back, repeatedly. Now, in all my fandom, I did have one issue. The mixed greens and kale need help. Wilted, discolored, sad. I'm not an iceberg girl, if I'm eating a salad... gimme all the vitamin A & K loaded, dark leafy greens I can stand! I spent the majority of my time in line sifting through greens to find the most appealing. Deal breaker? No, as the baby spinach was perfect and covered for the shortcomings of my other greens of choice. Am I coming back, and bringing the hubs to try it out? Absolutely! Am I hoping for better greens? Absolutely! Pro Tip: Sign up for rewards! I earned a free drink on my first visit! Whoo hoo! read more

Everything tasted good so I'll start with that, but I did feel we were coming to the end of just about every item they had available so it was a lot of scooping and scraping to see what was left to make up our salads. The inside is extremely brightly lit, it definitely feels like a mostly to go situation even though there are tables. The staff were friendly. The price is on the higher side but the sources of protein were lean and the dressings were delicious. read more

I had the best experience ever on yesterday! The salad bar was stocked and all ingredients were fresh even though it was close to closing time. The personable attention to detail and welcoming staff are second to none. The owner was exceptionally accommodating and sought every opportunity to make sure that I was able to get the quality product that I came there for. The salad and the amazing strawberry lemonade hit the spot! Also, an already good deal for fresh food was made even better by a coupon for half off up to a pound of salad. Overall, I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to eat a healthy and satisfying meal with a great staff to make your experience a great one! read more

You guys always have excellent selections and super friendly staff. We love Salad Station!

I went because I was craving a good salad and I kept passing by this place saying that I would try it one day. I finally did and I was NOT disappointed. They have sanitizer and gloves for you to put on while making your salad. All of the ingredients were fresh and the salad was so good. I also tried the potato soup and it was good too. They weigh the food for pricing and it was very reasonable. I spent less than $20 for a large salad and soup. Definitely visiting again! read more

Amazing!! The layout, the cleanliness, the staff, and the bathrooms. Everything was fantastic! Fresh garden vegetables

Salad Station is the newest restaurant in West Mobile, and their food is delicious! The layout of the restaurant is similar to a grocery store salad bar. That is, all of the toppings are laid out buffet style, and you are charged per ounce at the end. So, you can make whatever type of salad that you want, and you are charged based on how much you take. What sets Salad Station apart from other places, though, is that they have a wide selection of toppings. They have almost any type of vegetable, fruit, dressing, and anything else you could want on a salad. They also have a small hot bar section, which includes food that you can also top with various toppings. These other things include chicken, soup, and baked potatoes. I really enjoyed my visit here, and I will certainly be back again. The place was very clean, and I was able to get the best salad that I've had in quite awhile. A welcome addition to West Mobile! read more

Absolutely horrible. The food is mid. The workers are rude. Flies around the food. And very expensive ( you also have to pay a tip) and there's an extra tip jar which is weird. They are very unprofessional. read more

This isn't my style of place, but it was clean and all of the employees were extremely kind and attentive. Even if it isn't a place that I would frequent, they definitely still earn their stars. read more

I am SO disappointed to write this! So I'll start with the positives. Their salada are delicious. But ordering is dangerously inconsistent. On two separate occasions, I ordered the Caesar with a request to sub croutons for cheese crunchies because I have special diet/food intolerance. The first time, I got croutons. Not a huge deal. I picked them off and called to inform the staff. They were super chill and shared that a manager had an emergency and left two new staffers who may not have seen my request. Fair enough. Understandable. Today I ordered the same salad with the same request. I got a completely whole different menu item, with even MORE of the offending food bc they turned my salad into a wrap. This second mistake wouldn't have been so bad if the person who answered when I called wasn't so defensive/unhelpful. First, she points out that I requested cheese crunchies instead of croutons. Yes. True. That doesn't explain how my salad is now a wrap, full of croutons. So...I have a wheat intolerance and now what? I point out that this is the second time in a row this has happened. And advise that people *could* have much more serious food allergies so they need to take the notes seriously! She says she can make a salad if I can come pick it up. I'm at work. So no thanks. Really. This is about excuses and potential danger. Food allergies/intolerances are no joke. I made the request and indicated the severity and twice it's completely overlooked. I guess it's back to Newk's. I'll never order from here again. read more

Hands DOWN the best salad bar/buffet ever. Never in my life have I been to a place that has such a variety of toppings. I can't think of a single thing they're missing! From all the fruits, veggies and a great selection of meats.. I think I even saw crab and shrimp! Not to mention, the variety of dressings!! THERE. ARE. SO. MANY! Maybe other places don't offer such a variety because it's so hard to choose... well here, you don't have to!! You make a salad/wrap with everything your heart desires. The warm chicken is delicious and so is the buffalo chicken. Like I've said, so many delicious dressing options, I went with the sensation. One of the best dressings I've ever had. Also their strawberry lemonade was amazzzzing! There are warm options as well, like chicken breast and soup, not really sure how that plays into pricing. It says that you can make salad or wraps, I didn't see any wraps available so I'm not sure how that works. My only recommendation is that there needs to be more space by the register for guests to set their trays of food, because if you are weighing multiple items plus trying to pay in addition to trying to balance your tray on the small space they currently have.. it's kind of a recipe to wear your food. Great salad, great selection, I will be back! read more

Salad Station - Salad Near Me - Mobile, Alabama

A good salad buffet with a lot of options. Everything was fresh and the place was clean. They have 3-4 kinds of lettuce and a whole host of topping choices. The meats were good. I had Buffalo Chicken which was not too spicy but good. The only complaint is the cost. I got a relatively large salad in the provided bowl and a drink and it was $20. That seemed steep to me. read more

Was out of a lot of things, everyone looked miserable, every time I've ate there and the manager is there she seems like she would rather be anywhere else, very rude I would expect this kind of customer service from Popeyes but not when I'm spending 20$ on a salad. read more

Great topping selection for a salad shop. They boast over 100 toppings. The food was fresh and the health rating was a 95. They have also a "hot bar" with roasted chicken, soups and potatoes that is 5.50 a lb. the sale bar is 7.50 a lb. my wife and I were somewhat conscious of not getting too much as we were warned. Our salads were still about 1.5 lbs each so we spent 20.00. So in my opinion it's a little pricy. However the salad was great. read more

A great addition to West Mobile healthy restaurant choices. I was unable to take a picture of my salad before I gobbled up half of it. That's how delicious it was! The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. When I visited the owner was on site making sure everyone was satisfied and chatting with customers. A great lunch venue for catching up with friends. They have many choices of both salads and healthy fresh fruits. read more

It is one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced in terms of cleanliness, freshness and freshness of food and portion size.

This is a nice addition to WeMo. This establishment specializes in salads. HUGE variety of salad toppings to choose from. You make your salad and they charge by the pound. Each time I've been there my salad has been $8 and some change. They also have a soup station with different soups and they have baked potatoes that you load with toppings. This place has been busy since it's opening. There are tables and outside seating if you choose dine-in. read more

I've visited here a few times so far and really feel that I have a well developed opinion on this place. First off the workers are all very much welcoming! All the workers are wearing gloves and masks and are happy to help you. The food was pretty good and the price you pay is by the pound. You'd be surprised how much a pound of salad looks like so don't worry, you're not going to be spending too much. The only issue I've had with this place is each time I've been the sweet tea is sour or old. Other than that I recommend salad station for a nice pick me up in your day or a healthy option for lunch. read more

This is my husband's favorite place to eat. He gets a hearty salad and I usually get a baked potato. The potatoes are large enough to fill me up. I love the variety of fresh fruits available. My only complaint is my husband gets carried away and usually ends up with a $30 salad! read more

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when i went, but i truly wasn't disappointed. It's like a buffet, but with salad! You walk around the bar and get whatever you want. Once you're done they have soups at a separate bar. The crawfish pepper jack is delicious! Very flavorful! The price is based on weight so when you get to the register you set your items down on a scale. I got a very large salad plus a soup and drink for under $10! I'll definitely be back! read more

I love this place! I feel healthier just walking through the door and the food does not disappoint! Hands down the best place to create any kind of salad your heart desires. The hot bar is also a nice touch and everything is fresh and reasonably priced. I had the pleasure of meeting both the owner and manager who went out of their way to insure a great dining experience. The staff was friendly....salad was amazing! No other salad bar even remotely compares! I will definitely be back every opportunity I have! Great new fave spot for lunch or dinner. read more

I was there at 7:05 in December. We paid for our two salads and begin to sit down at 7:10 to eat. I noticed the young girl mopping the floors and then the other young lady walked over and informed us that they were closing in 20 minutes. We got up and walked out and never been back. Rude and I don't think they will make it with that attitude. I tried to call corporate 3 times but they are never there. Rob read more

My first visit to The Salad Station. The girls behind the counter were so helpful. They explained everything that I needed to do and told me about all of their items. One of the really great things that I appreciate is that customers have to use hand sanitizer before they start. Thank you! They also have small 'tasting' cups that customers can taste items to see if they like them before putting it in their salads. I'm gonna try their Baked Potato Bar next time! They also have a hot bar and soup. My large Chef's Salad was only $5.60 WITH tax! Not bad for a good quality salad! And they open at 10am, so it's great for stopping by before work to get lunch! read more

We visited The Salad Station for the first time last night. I liked the wide variety of things you can put on your salad, and everything seemed to be fresh. My boyfriend's salad and mine were both fairly tasty, though he was very upset that the small gherkin pickles he put on his salad turned out to be sweet instead of dill. Who makes sweet gherkins?? He REALLY hates sweet pickles, so this was a big deal. We both got soups--chili for him and broccoli cheddar for me--and they were both good. In fact, I think my soup was the best thing I had. I appreciated that ingredients for the soups were posted right next to them. Speaking of labels, on the salad bar, some of the items had labels, and a lot didn't. I think this is an opportunity to do better. The biggest opportunity, though, was in cleanliness. The floor was dirty, the tables were dirty, every trash can was full or overflowing, and the salad dressing station was really gross. Definitely hope they can turn things around on the cleanliness front. Also, it is super weird that they close at 7:30 PM. However, while we were eating, I saw three different groups of people walk in the door after 7:30, and they weren't turned away, so I guess it's not a hard limit. Weird. read more

Excellent salad bar with a wide range of delicious ingredients. Nice hot bar too. They use compostable plates and bowls, which is great. However, the tops and flatware are plastic and I was disappointed to find that they do not offer recycling. read more

I was glad to read the reviews before I went so I was trying not to fill my salad bowl too much. The bowls are quite generous, so with filling mine just about 2/3 full, it was about $7 for my salad. Of course, it also depends on what you put in there. A pound of pasta salad is smaller than a pound of spinach leaves. So many toppings! From taco meat and warm chicken, to corn salsa and guacamole, it's all in there. My favorite part was the variety of salad dressings. Nearly every salad bar in Mobile has a dozen varieties of ranch and not much else. You are lucky if they give you one Italian. This place has a multitude of different vinaigrettes and non-ranch dressings. Perfect for me. I really didn't do more than glance at the "hot bar". It looked fine, but wasn't what I was there for. I did have a half-cup of soup. It was decent but not outstanding. My salad, soup and a drink were $10 total and very filling. I can see how people go overboard. The place was clean and the employees super helpful. It's a tad weird to don plastic mittens at the start, but with flu season being around us, I'm glad everyone is wearing them. read more
