Such a fun experience!!! Went with a few friends and we all enjoyed ourselves. We did the self/serve option (of course) and made our own bowls for the chefs to cook. Let me warn you that less is sometimes more when it comes to SEASONINGS/SAUCES. Some of my friends who got full cups of seasoning said their food tasted a bit too "strong/salty" which of course was because they chose their own adventure (not a reflection of the restaurant). I used about half a container of seasoning and one container of sauce and my flavors were nicely balanced. The service was FAST! And the workers were polite. The restaurant was pretty spacious and clean. Can't wait to return here (I will say if you have a food allergy to shellfish you may want to be weary, they cook everything on ONE big grill and I didn't see any options for separate cooking with allergies. But I would ask, maybe they have accommodations!)

Yummy in my tummy!!' This place is a nice spot for lunch or dinner. I went here for lunch with my coworkers. We were seated immediately and had our orders are taken right away. The cool part is choosing the ingredients you want in your bowl. The bar is full of fresh ingredients and many many options for veggies. The proteins vary from chicken to fish. I added the mix seasonings and spicy Szechuan sauce and it was perfect. I will definitely return for another meal.

My mother and father in law took my husband and I here! I'm not much for monogolian type food! Let me tell you though...oh my word, it was sooo good! The service was amazing! They never let you run out of anything you need! It all came out pretty quick too! I can't say enough good things about this place!!! Highly recommend!!

I previewed the reviews and menu before I went I found the stir fry and fried rice to be very tasty I really enjoyed the combination Mongolian stir fry (minus the tomato) the portions were really generous enough for 2nd meal. My guest had ramen they didn't seem quite as satisfied as I was they mentioned the broth not having enough depth. The service was quick and efficient and everyone was pleasant. The restaurant itself was very nice. I will definitely make a return visit

I'm usually not in the vicinity of Airport and Schillinger but I was running an errand and searched food spots in the area. Yummy Yaki popped up and I was intrigued. I love Asian food and I like trying new restaurants. Never hearing of this place I went into menu blind but I decided to go with the most popular entree. The Mongolian Empire sounded like something I needed to try. A dish comprising of beef, shrimp, and chicken with vegetables and noodles. It's topped with a bourbon sauce. It also came with yum yum sauce. I ordered my food in the parking lot after running my errand. When I went to pick up my food the place seemed to be packed. I could tell instantly that people really love the food here. When I got home I was eager to dive into my food. One cause for concern which was no fault of Yummy Yaki is that I had to press my brakes real suddenly on the ride home. Some driver was very close to driving out of a parking lot and very close to my vehicle. My plate slid out of my front passenger seat. Fortunately for me the plate was still intact. The food was delicious. It was cooked perfectly and everything was well seasoned. I was very hungry so I ate all of it in one sitting but it could've been two meals. I want to go back and try more dishes.

Inside is nice, clean and great for larger groups

Great new location with wings and bowls of noodles - rice and all the toppings / you can order off the menu or make your own selections and they will stir fry it up for you. Coke products to drink and Homemade ice tea too- very friendly staff that helped us order and brought yum yum sauce to the table for us.

We had eaten just a few bites before I thought to snap a pic

Very clean, very attentive servers, good food. Go in, they seat you and ask for drink and appetizer order, give each person a slip of paper where you get to mark if you prefer your "filler food" to be rice or noodles (several types of each offered) along with name and table number. Then you go over to a cafeteria/buffet style line where you grab a tray and a metal bowl, which you will fill with whatever veggies and meats (raw) that you want to be cooked in with your "filler". Lots of choices, including dark or white meat chicken, beef, scallops, calamari rings, shrimp, etc. You also get a little plastic condiment cup that you can put the spices you want (think there were 6 spice mixes to choose from, such as garlic salt) and you can use up to 2 little cups for your choice of sauces (there were about 8, I think...soy sauce, Gen Tsao's, Teriyaki, etc.). Slide on down with your tray of choices and leave it at the counter along with your identifying paper/filler choice and they will then cook it all up on the flat metal grill while you go back to your seat. They bring it to you once it's done. Both of ours was very enjoyable. You pick, so kind of hard to not like it. I would go back. Just under $14 a person per bowl. We each got water and my total bill for 2 was $32. A little high, but inflation has everything ridiculous these days. Pic: We had eaten just a few bites before I thought to snap a pic. A decent amount of food, unless you are a big eater. We both had leftovers to eat later.

Lots of food. Quick service. I Keep coming back. I got shrimp, crab, chicken, fried rice, corn, eggs.

We have eaten at YY's a half dozen times and never been disappointed. We always get the select your own ingredients. The pics speak for themselves. The service is fast & friendly. And it has a relaxed and clean atmosphere.

Again, not a fan of dives whatsoever; do not misconstrue, this is not* a dive dining destination. It is however, in a strip mall type venue yes, on Airport Blvd.. Promptly greeted when I entered, I was thankfully seated in a booth; for me, unless dining with a few plus people, eating at a standard table does not offer the same privacy I enjoy. A very kind gentleman took my beverage order in no time. Of note: this venue offers soft drinks, yea, bobas, brief list of beer, and whatever the 'house' wine selection is ( also a short offering). After an appropriate amount of time to prepare them, my piping hot baked chef's special rolls arrived via quiet, swift, & accurate 'train' delivery. Smooth execution. ( Ordered the Auburn & Hurricane rolls) They were both huge at ten, thickly sliced pieces each, plus the kani & crayfish toppings. Very filing at a very fair price point mind you. Rolls are indeed customizable; let your server know your particulars. The only improvements I would make are the addition of fresh* wasabi; I emulsified all of my portion into approximately 2 tbls. of soy. There was no...spice, no tingle of sinuses being pleasantly breached which invariably creates a reason for those dining, to watch the effect unfold on one's' face. I believe that it would justify a price bump upward if the 'shredded kani & crayfish topping' were made in a traditional 'volcano roll topping'. This would be both elements, & finely chopped shrimp, combined with just enough baked cream cheese and sriracha spiced mayo, combined & then baked to a somewhat homogeneous mixture, topping any roll. Currently, HS 'spicy mayo' is actually more reminiscent of yum yum sauce; it is sadly sweet, sans any heat. ( I'm not a fan of hot spice; I gladly pass over even a jalapeño. ) Unless HS is already using Qewpie ( Japanese mayo), the alleged spicy mayo definitely needs some bit of sriracha added to all of it. Definitely worth exploration of a variety of dishes at a very reasonable price point, I encourage anyone to visit. Service was excellent, not rushed, & entirely polite. I happened to very much enjoy a downtempo smooth jazz aural experience as well. Thank you Happy Sushi!

Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Food wise we had: -seaweed salad (standard but yummy, 7/10) -spicy cucumber salad (a table favorite, 9/10) -potstickers (another favorite, my niece is ready to return for these alone! 10/10) -chicken clay pot with rice (really good, but I wish there was some veg in there or something? Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. We will come back for this again and again.!) Overall it was a really great experience and the pricing was quite reasonable, we got all that plus a couple sodas for $108 before the tip. The atmosphere is good, well lit, roomy booths, very clean and we liked the music.

For the price it should have had some real scallops or lobster. It was fake, and a couple of pieces you had no clue what it was supposed to be. Anyway for some reason they were on my mind and I decided to drop by. When I walked in there 2 customers who were waiting for their order. I looked at the menu and as always if there are various options I get overwhelmed. This is not a bad thing but I was hungry so I tried to make a quick decision. I went with the house combination sandwich. Why? I believe the main reason because it had pork in it. I really have no idea. I don't really see too many restaurants have pork sandwiches. I mean there are ham sandwiches but that seems different. Anywho, I also ordered fries and a coke. I wish there was a combo meal option but that's not the issue at hand. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This was a plus because I didn't have worry about being away from my work computer too long. When I got home the first thing I noticed were the fries were very hot. I mean so hot I didn't have touch them to find out. The box was on fire almost. They also provided ketchup packets. The fries were hot and delicious and not too salty. They had a real crunch that I like on my crinkle cut fries. Now the sandwich was a perfect complement to the fries. It was so delicious. I don't have the name of the greens we're on the salad but I'm pretty sure they're used in a lot of Asian dishes that I've had before. The carrots added a little crunch to the sandwich as well. Now the meat part of the sandwich was glorious. The pork and other meats were blended so well with the spices that it created a very glorious taste. It was so good. 5 stars.

There are absolutely no shortages of places to eat in Hattiesburg. Some visiting might lean towards safe places with menu items they feel secure and safe with, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, if that's you you're missing out on some amazing food. Today I took my wife for mother's day as they had some special items on their menu, while also keeping their regular menu available. We started with their standard dumpling appetizer. We get it everytime we eat there and they're delicious every time. The meals we picked were the the kimchi cabanara and the shrimp and grits. Both on their special mother's day menu. Both were absolutely delicious with fresh ingrediants, balanced seasonings and amazing flavors. I'm Italian and grew up eating traditional family Sunday dinners but this bowl of pasta was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of the place is very modern with a combination of traditional asian features mixed with some modern MTV inspired artwork. If you're into craft cocktails they got you covered as well. The only miss we had to day was our server never came back to take our dessert order, when we asked to order it he confused what we said for the bill and brought that instead. Not a deal breaker, we were actually too full for it anyway and we've had their desserts before. They always inventive and delicious. At the end of the day, one small service hiccup wasn't enough to overshadow what was an outstanding meal and experience. In a city packed with chain restaurants and predictable menus, places like this are what make Hattiesburg's food scene worth exploring. If you're willing to step outside your comfort zone a little, you'll be rewarded with creative dishes, quality ingredients, and flavors you'll still be thinking about on the drive home. We'll absolutely be back.

The pork and shrimp dumplings were a bit firmer than I'm used to, but not in a bad way, and the flavors were excellent. The pot roast egg rolls were a fun mashup. The okra was delicious - perfectly cooked and great balance of flavors. The pork belly buns were my favorite item. Lots of tender, crispy pork on a cloud soft bun. Yum!
