What I hate even more is that the staff is at the bar like cleaning up before the night ends - so there's this whole nice ambiance and experience that is missing and right away it feels like fast food - hurry up and get out. (Not their fault entirely) Regardless, we each ordered a drink a piece and then started with the Gyoza appetizer. IMO it was overcooked and burnt on the bottom, but not terribly so it was still edible. - but $14 poorer not smiling about it. Onto the entrees: I ordered two maki rolls the butterfly (this was really good imo just had a touch too much sauce. Then I also went with the Lobster Rock Special roll with lobster on top. The lobster was so overcooked and drenched in garlic sauce that it was almost inedible. It tasted like someone drizzled dominos garlic sauce all over it. WHY? Such good quality fish...let it shine. We also had ordered two additional plain rolls: shrimp tempura: your standard nothing special but edible. And then the sweet potato roll. However they give you some salted caramel glaze to go with it which makes this seem like a weird dessert - no good no way! Look - I could have ordered the wrong stuff. Just imo I'd spend my money elsewhere on expensive sushi. Sorry but this one was NOT a vibe.

I've had a lot of sushi in my time and this was probably if not the best one of the best I've ever had.. I also enjoyed the house salad. It comes with spiral shredded carrot slice of cucumber and coldest. I burn lettuce I've ever had. The ginger dressing was phenomenal.

She added to our enjoyable evening at Prime. The surf and turf my girlfriend had had such a great presentation and equally good quality taste. I had their shrimp with were perfectly grilled. The wedge salad was on point and classic. And then layer on Frank Sinatra tunes in the background while sipping the well made martinis made by Alissa...a great evening. My only negative would be the calamari I thought would have been better, not hot. Maybe not a 5 in the options of a large metropolitan city, but for the square on downtown Crown Point, an absolute 5. Look forward to enjoying again when in the area.

We started with the crab cake, which was very good and had a little spinach on top. We then had the lobster bisque, and to me, it tasted like tomato soup. The bread was just sooooooo good, my husband kept asking for more. The medium-rare filet mignon was cooked perfectly, accompanied by garlicky mashed potatoes that were incredibly good. My husband had the New York Strip, which he said was very delicious. Our desserts were the carrot cake and the turtle cheesecake, both of which were delightful. Our waiter was lovely and attentive.

I mean, who needs a personal chef when you have fried catfish sizzling away right before your eyes? After I've made my seafood sacrifices to the food gods, I waddle over to the prepared foods section, where those buttery mashed potatoes and green beans await. I swear, those mashed potatoes came from someones grandma versus the store kitchen. Oh, and the prices? They're so good I almost feel guilty! It's like finding money in my winter coat pockets (compared to Indy). I leave feeling like I've hit the grocery jackpot! I can't help but visit them over and over when I'm on the road. It's practically a ritual at this point! And don't even get me started on the stuff I couldn't find in Indy (Marsh closed). There isn't anything fancy about this place. It's old, but kept clean. How does a store get away with putting out expired merchandise? I will never shop there again.
