The Pink Hyacinth I purchased there flourished despite the cold temperatures!

This Strack & Van-Til has some of the most kind, hardworking, and helpful staff I've ever had the pleasure of encountering! They have a vast selection of groceries, great prices, discounts, and are always trying to help the community out by doing little things like taking food donations to help those in need, and offer a community billboard for customers to freely advertise appropriate material on. If you need pet supplies, cleaning supplies, small gifts, food or more, stop in and meet the kind team there for yourself!

I was helped immediately and ordered the Italian sausage and beef combo sandwich. While waiting I checked out their coolers and picked out a lemon Tiramisu. Once again, the coolers were spotlessly clean and organized. I took a peek into the bar area and it looks really nice, definitely something to try another day. I got my sandwich in a very reasonable time since it was made to order and of course, paid cash. Overall impression, the food was excellent, the gals working there were very nice, prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

When he was done, the ladies walked over to me and asked what they could get me. I promptly told them "nothing,I don't appreciate the way the owner of this business was talking to his employees, he's a ja**off and wouldn't support someone like that." Upon walking out the door, the owner asked me who the f**k I thought I was. I told him "I WAS a customer". He then proceeded to follow me out door while cursing at me . His behavior and treatment of his employees was incredibly disturbing and completely uncalled for. I will never support a business owner like this. I hope his employees know that there are a lot more jobs and business owners who will treat them with dignity and respect. And if these employees were family members, well, that would be a whole other review. Response to the owners response I'm gonna take this as a threat and make a police report. Thank you for showing us all.

From traditional Christmas cookies to new twists on the classics (sugar cookie with crushed peppermint pieces) these cookies are not overly sweet, crisp, and delectably melt-in-the mouth with the perfect proportion of textured-add ins. I have even been known to take a couple in a plastic bag to savor later. In the last few years, cookie chains have sprung up, bringing with them cult followings for their elaborate, often hubcap-sized tricked out confections and rotating flavors. Against this backdrop, Butterfingers stays true to the classics, turning out quality products, year after year, that stir nostalgia and evoke positive emotions, much like you-know-who's madeleines. This is a Serbian owned business as one can easily distinguish just by looking around. The owner is from the Vojvodina region of Serbia and has put together a fabulous store. I love cevapcici! I tried Euro Market's and they are very good. They are sold here frozen and in a few varieties. I prefer mine made with some lamb, so I chose those. Serve with diced fresh onions and the Serbian style bread. I also loved red peppers in a jar, sold here and they are excellent. A full case of smoked meats and Hungarian salami, the best. All kinds of variety and interesting finds from Eastern Europe. Items from Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Serbia, Poland, Russia, Turkey. Stop in and explore and try some of the unique delectable treasures found at Euro Market. Highly Recommended! Great Find!

They have a good selection of Greek olive oils in the big 3 gallon square metal containers (101oz) most of them under $30. You cannot beat that price. Also they carry all sorts of Feta cheeses including sheep feta, Bulgarian Feta, kashkaval and other E.European cheeses. As far as meats they carry all sorts of dried salamis including Hungarian, Romanian such as Sibiu, Polish kabanos sausage and many other dried or smoked meats some that I've never seen before. Lots of canned stuff as well, if you're into making stuffed cabbage they have a good variety of canned cabbage and grape leaves. I'm Romanian but I grew up with a variety of products I mentioned above from all over that region. The service: I would've given them 5 stars, the only reason I took a star away is because of the service, the girl at the counter seemed to be mostly clueless when I asked her to give me some information about a few products. Her English was horrific but that's fine it didn't bother me. Also I think we've gotten used to deal with bigger businesses where they train their employees to behave courteously, she was on the phone yelling in Serbian a good part of the time when I asked her a few questions she talked to me like I was there kind of bugging her phone conversation which I didn't think was very professional. Overall don't let that stop you from visiting this place, if you grew up in the Balkans region or E.Europe in general you will find something that will bring back memories for sure.

They also updated their menu to specify prices for a small and a large sandwich and even have the bread clearly on display near the menu. I really appreciated seeing that so much! The lady who I assumed was the owner/manager was very kind and got me my order of a large croissant sandwich meal , key lime pie bar, and an iced coffee. The sandwich was delicious and I upgraded it to a meal. I kind of panic picked my side and chose the potato salad. It is a very eggy-based potato salad and is definitely the choice for you if you prefer that! And the sandwich was great and I was pretty happy. The key lime pie bar had a perfect ratio of key lime mixture and the shortbread crust. I love crust and appreciated that there was the perfect amount to enjoy both flavors. The texture of the key lime pie + lemon bars are more whipped/cohesive compared to the usual lemon bar's acidic softness. I think this would be perfect for people with food sensory issues or just people who don't like the texture of normal lemon bars. Overall, I was pretty happy with my visit and glad to update it with a way better review :) So glad to see how nice the business looks and appreciate the management!
