Holy cow, this was the best poke bowl I've ever had in my life! I'm never really good at ordering food at "build your own meal" places so I asked the server if she could make her favorite bowl and this was what she recommended. It was absolutely amazing. Went to this ramen shop with friends. The broth had a nice depth of flavor, but it was too spicy. Noodles were chewy and enjoyable. The pork was flavorful but fatty. The place was clean, but the seating was cramped. Overall, it was an okay experience. read more

There is lots of parking available as this is in a strip mall. It's not much to look at inside (there were boxes and things piled up in the back of the dining area), but there were still people eating inside and tables available if you really wanted to. (I wouldn't recommend.) The staff was super kind and helpful making recommendations for my build your own poke bowl. There were SO many toppings to choose from, but opted for a normal sushi rice bowl with ahi tuna and salmon topped with edamame, mushrooms, carrots, jalapeños, cucumber, scallions, mango, tempura crunchers, masago, and spicy ginger sauce. It was assembled pretty quick (I got my food much faster than my friend who ordered at the Panera next door), and was super fresh and satisfying. read more

INCREDIBLY slow service! The person making food just stood around for a good 10 minutes after people had placed their orders, doing absolutely NOTHING. The food is good, but, don't bother going unless you have a good 20-25 minutes to wait for your food. They clearly have no sense of urgency whatsoever. read more

Stopped on a road trip off this exit and needed to find a good gluten free vegan restaurant. Next door was Panera, which is where I was headed for a salad, but decided to check this place out instead. Wow! So glad I did! I got the vegetarian bowl, which was rice, mixed greens, tofu, edamame, sweet onions, cucumbers.. and they had gluten free soy sauce which I subbed out for what was on the dish. It was so good! And I got the green tea, lightly sweetened., which was so refreshing! Only complaint is that they need to be closer to Cincinnati, where I'm from, lol!! read more

Ingredients are not the same. Salad was nothing but iceberg lettuce. Very little of other ingredients in my bowl. Missing selected items. My bowl is normally so coloful. Not anymore. Just filed w lettuce and sprinkles of other ingredients. Before, I never had anything bad to say. The miso soup is too greasy to eat. Fairly decent selection/variety of options for food and beverages. I tried a customized poke bowl recently, I can say it was tasty and fresh. I really enjoyed the shrimp tempura I didn't have to wait very long for my meal and beverage. Restaurant is clean. Parking is ok, it's in a plaza with some other restaurants/businesses. With covid, I haven't been able to get my poke fix in Chicago. I'm so happy there is a place I can get poke bowls nearby! I customized mine and there were a lot of choices to choose from. The poke bowl was fresh and delicious. If you have never been to a place like this, I suggest asking for recommendations because all of the ingredients could be a little overwhelming. I also got the brown sugar bubble tea which was a bit too sweet for me. For next time, I'll ask for a little less sugar. Stumbled upon this great spot on my way to Indy from Chicago. Poke, ramen, and hibachi grilled bowls. It was real cold and snowing outside so ramen was my choice. I picked the spicy seafood miso ramen and it hit the spot! You can customize your order to your exact liking which was awesome. Very generous portion of shrimp and the soft boiled egg was done perfectly. Not too spicy but that might just be me, they'll give you extra jalapeños and have siracha if you you need to crank up the heat. My review is for yesterday (Friday 4-25-2020) So my lady and I were looking for places we could do carry out from since the current situation with covid lately. We found this place and decided to give them a try for the first time. This was honestly are first time ever having a poke bowl, and I got to say these guys made some awesome bowels. We both decided to go with the Poke Bowl (deluxe) and then created our bowl from their menu selection. These were the two bowls we created: My Lady's Bowl: Sushi Rice, Salmon, BBQ Eel, Octopus, Cucumber, Hijiki Seaweed, Cilantro, Red Cabbage, Spicy Ginger, S- Eel Sauce, Masago (Fish Egg), Crab Salad, Seaweed Salad, Fish Cake, Diced Mango, and Rice Puff. My Bowl: Noodles, Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber, Hijiki Seaweed, Cilantro, Red Cabbage, Eel Sauce, Masago (Fish Egg), Crab Salad, Shredded Carrots, Fish Cake, Diced Mango, Extra Kizami Shoga (Sweet Pickled Ginger), Extra Seaweed Salad, Wonton Crisps, and Fried Tobiko. She then ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Lychee Boba and I had ordered the Peach Slushi with Peach Boba. I can say the bowls were very filling, very yummy too. This place is absolutely the best I've had. It's not only fresh but delicious. My daughter and I were crunched for time. But when we took a little bite our knees got weak and we had to take a seat and finish it. The smoothies were out of this world good! The service was absolutely amazing. The prices seem high, but if you think about it.... it's really not. If you. It one sushi roll anywhere else you are going to pay almost $10. And that's about 3 1/2 rolls worth they put in the bowl. So you are coming out a lot better. It was so clean and nice. I would totally recommend, whether it's for lunch or even for a meal. I absolutely love sushi, so I was really excited when I found out this restaurant was opening close to my current apartment because it is similar to sushi. I have now been here twice in the short amount of time they have been open because I loved it so much! Everything about this place is awesome. The workers are really nice, and very helpful too, which is a huge plus. The food itself is amazing. Every one of their ingredients was very fresh in the poke bowls, which I appreciated a lot. I'm a huge fan of foods with a lot of fresh veggies and fruits. Their fish tasted really fresh too, which was great, because I have been to some places where the fish is gross because it is 1) not fresh or 2) warm. My sister and I went once a few days after they opened. We both got bowls with a variety of ingredients, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our bowls. I went again when they were running a special so I could get a poke bowl, and so I could get wings for my husband since he is not a fan of fish. I got the spicy garlic for him, and he really liked them! I did not end up trying them, but I was happy he liked them. In sum, this restaurant is GREAT. I would 100% recommend coming here if you like this kind of food because you will not be disappointed. read more

Quite disappointed in my wings today. There were so overly seasoned that even wiping them off with a napkin wasn't enough. After a bite into the 3rd one, The torture of trying to tolerate them out weighed the cost. Additionally these things were served to me saturated in oil. I'm so glad this place came to Northwest Indiana. I've only been to poke places in other states! So this is exciting for me. Not too bad. I had mine door-dashed, so I can't speak to the location itself. The packaging and appearance are attractive. Jasmine milk tea was good, a little watered down. The size of the bowl is well worth the price, but only two protein scoops. The salmon wasn't bad, but not melt in your mouth soft. The brown rice could have been cooked just a touch more and would be better hot, but there was soo much of it. I would have done 1/2 rice 1/2 spring mix or kale if it were an option. I tried the shredded beets for a change and added iron to my diet. I'll try Poke-man again. read more

The interior is plain and basic and the counter with the ingredients is nothing fancy, but it was a popular place at 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon! So that's a good sign. So not only was I trying to be healthy, I was also trying to be cheap so I only got the one scoop build your own bowl ($11.99) and no extras. Portions are surprisingly large, as you can see in my picture, and it took me about an hour to eat when I got home. After getting unlimited toppings at AA Poke in Fort Wayne, I am always now sad to see when poke places limit the number of toppings. But anyway, let's briefly mention the quality of ingredients. The tuna I got wasnt the freshest and the carrots looked a bit brown but everything else was tasty! I also liked the sweet chili sauce I got. And I will never get a poke bowl that doesn't have edamame. Edamame is a must! This might still be a high calorie lunch(sauces and rice are not low calorie!) but I FEEL healthy and that was what was most important for my mental health today.

It is also fundamentally unethical to market a "poke bowl" that only contains four TINY pieces of tuna and one shrimp-- To make matters worse, the rice itself didn't even taste fresh. It was hard and dry and it clearly was NOT fresh I reached out to the business directly to voice these concerns, but they were completely dismissive and didnt bother to respond. It's a shame to see a business be this stingy with their portions while showing zero accountability to their customers. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its patrons and wont short change you with the quantity.
