The flavors were solid across the board. The fried rice was well seasoned, the steak was tender, and the chicken wasn't dry. Portions were generous and filling. Service was attentive and organized, especially considering how busy it can get. The staff kept things moving smoothly and made sure drinks were refilled without having to ask. I chose to be seated at the sushi bar as I was dining alone, unfortunately, it was quite a wait for the server to come to me and grab an order. I was greeted with a water and a complimentary edamame appetizer, that was a nice touch and they were delicious. I was planning on ordering the "lunch special" and my fault, but I didn't notice it said M-F only. Immediately my server, Fifi, quickly pointed that out rather rudely and stood beside me tapping her pen while I browsed the menu instead of coming back to give me time to browse - it was odd and uncomfortable but I chose two sushi rolls and a glass of wine. My sushi came out before my drink, so I waited for my wine while I indulged in the most delicious sushi rolls, freshly made and the salmon and shrimp were very fresh. I ordered a Salmon Roll + Boston Roll. When my server came back I asked for a side of miso sauce. She frowned, looked puzzled, said no, and walked away. A few moments later I caught her attention and daid, it's on the menu, may I please get a side of it. Again she told me no, stating they don't have it, she brought me a menu and I pointed it out. A few minutes later the chefs at the sushi bar are talking to her and finally, I got a side of miso sauce, for a $2 up-charge (which I was expecting, and agreed to). Overall, the service was mediocre and it didn't feel friendly at all. She did check on me a couple of times but by no means was it exceptional or welcoming. At the end I received my tab to notice an automatic 18% gratuity/service fee added. I understand the service fee's, but the gratuity being included really is a bummer. Stop by here last night for a quick bite sat at the bar and while the service was OK the food was a bit pricey I had a little serving of sushi and some sort of salmon bowl and a salad that cost when they added it on the gratuity a little over $50. My experience at Wols house was a good experience the cook we had was very, very excited to have us he cooked our food. It was very tasty. The service was great the cook came with excitement as he's cooked our food. I can truly say that my experience here went really well. My friend and I went there to celebrate his birthday. We have been here several times with family and have had excellent meals and a show doing the hibachi. My only complaint is certain items the portions have become slightly smaller. ( noodles and veggies) and no desert included. All in all though we will continue to come here. read more

Wu's House was a success. Came here to celebrate my granddad's 89th birthday. We were seated promptly at 1:45pm. Most of my family ordered hibachi: Steak, Shrimp, Chicken and even Salmon. The portions were good. The fried rice and noodles were tasty. I ordered the Philly Roll as I have had fried rice for the past few days. In addition to my sushi, I grabbed Crazy Spicy Beef Noodles (Thai). My sushi was good but my noodles were great. My thai dish was full of beef strips, snow peas, and other veggies. My noodles were nice and fat. I had plenty of noodles to take home. Taste held for the next day and spice was just right. Wu's did a good job of keeping the meal going. Appetizers were quick, hibachi service was not dragged out. Our sorbet was an excellent palate cleanser. Shot out to our Indonesia chef, he was a hoot. His sake shots were fun. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to go eat at a nice restaurant on my last day in town. The server sat us at the hibachi table, we ordered a Dinner Chicken Hibachi, some sushi rolls, and a ginger salad. They informed us that we could not sit at the hibachi table because we did not meet the minimum required of hibachi ordered. Apparently if you have a party of 2, both people have to order hibachi to sit at the hibachi grill. Even though we were spending the same amount another Chicken Hibachi would cost on sushi. They moved us away from the other couples at the table, ( highly embarrassing to make us move away), and sat us in the very back of the other side of the restaurant. Will never be back. I've been to Wu's House five times now (including last night for my mother's birthday). I've enjoyed myself every time. I've done both the hibachi side and the regular dine in side. The food is excellent. Wu's House has arguably the best fried rice I've ever had. Last night, we did the hibachi side where we were thoroughly entertained by our chef who along with the rest of the staff treated my mother like royalty. We were a party of 15, and there was still room for a few more diners to join our hibachi. I will definitely be back in the future. read more

Wus House never disappoints whether we're enjoying the hibachi in the restaurant or ordering to-go for dinner the portion sizes are always worth the money and the quality of food is extremely consistent. From the shrimp to the chicken to the sushi, noodles, rice or soup it's always fantastic and the staff is always accommodating and kind. We arrived at the restaurant around 5:20 pm and ordered drinks at the bar while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Our party of 10 ... 8 adults/ 2 toddlers were seated and ordered another round of drinks/ sodas. Drinks arrived and we ordered our apps and meals... which included 4 split hibachi meals +egg rolls + calamari + udon + edamame + broccoli. We were then told that we needed to add 3 more hibachi meals to meet their "minimum". Meanwhile there was a party of 3 (parents and child) with their own hibachi table and they were served no problem. Also I'd like to point out that the restaurant was basically empty. Between all of our drinks and meals we would have spent more than enough but i guess they don't like business . We got our check and left. This place is GiGantic, and would be good for large groups. I saw a lot of people doing Christmas celebrations with gifts and such. The right side is Hibachi, left side you can do sushi, Thai, Chinese or hibachi. The hibachi chicken comes with 2 pieces of shrimp, noodles, salad, soup. The food was a little bit greasy, and you get a lot of it so definitely be prepared for leftovers. I liked the lemongrass chicken. There were some pineapple surprise pieces with the asparagus and veggies. The sweet pineapple to the salty sauce was a nice compliment. This is not a place I would go out of my way for, but it's close to the highway and was an easy in/out. They do charge an 18% auto tip, so the service was pushing drinks, apps, ad-ons pretty hard which I did not love. But the food came out hot and quickly which I appreciate. read more

Went here for dinner last night with the family. They have a pretty wide menu selection with a sushi bar, hibachi, or dining room to order off the menu. We ordered off the menu and enjoyed everything we ordered (general tso's, cashew chicken, Mongolian beef, sweet and spicy chili shrimp) and egg rolls and egg drop soup for appetizers. Fuad was the cook for the night : I don't come here often but decided to treat myself tonight. The cook was in a rush the whole time he was cooking. I've never seen a chef have rice, vegetables, AND noodles cooking all at once. Definitely took away from the experience that you PAY for. As for food I ordered steak and shrimp he had double the normal serving of steak and was handing out a heavy sized portions to the non-colored people and when he got to me he gave me a portion with only a few pieces of steak. I asked if he had more because the portion was so little he laughed and carried on. Total experience was a 0/10 I would highly NOT recommend. Also the Thai tea was nasty. Thankfully, this restaurant was wonderful from the clean decor, the service and the food. I got the ginger shrimp which comes with steamed rice and the egg drop soup. You can get soup or egg roll with the lunch meal. My manager got the orange beef with miso soup. It was a $1 upcharge to get miso soup instead of egg drop soup. We also got a vegetable tempura appetizer to split. The food was delicious and hot. After the appetizer and soup, I was full quickly so I took the rest of my meal to go. They start at about $40 each per person. There is a large amount of food on each entree and each couple was hoping to share an entree and order a couple sides. But, the waitress said we couldn't do that. This pushed our bill to about $150/couple ($450 total). Over priced in my opinion and very noisy. The rice and noodles were both delicious as was the tuna appetizer we ordered. But, the steak and chicken were pretty bland. For the price, I expected a little more. Our family just enjoyed a wonderful experience and meal at Wu's tonight. Honestly I am not sure why there are a number of bad reviews on here. This was a BIG hit with our crew. We dined on the hibachi side and made reservations for 5:30p to beat the dinner crowd. I'm glad we did because the place was really starting to fill by the time we left. (and this is Tuesday night) The dinner was excellent. "Best hibachi I ever had" was proclaimed by several family members. Come hungry too, because the servings are absolutely ginormous. We had several chicken orders at the table, 1 filet mignon, 1 steak and 1 shrimp. The shrimp was mine and they were delicious. The very hearty portions of chicken fried rice and Lo Mein noodles that are included were perfection. So much so that most of our 7 to-go containers have all of the meat we ordered. We can't wait to enjoy hibachi for days! Our server was super friendly and engaging. Everyone had a lot of fun with the dinner show. Yes, we paid 18% gratuity that was included on the bill, but as noted in other reviews, this is clearly posted when you walk in.
