A host called for the VIP people to head to the left and they had a special cashier handling these guests. You pay first and then a server escorts you to a table. They were seating people outside on the covered deck too. The employees said it is quite nice out there with the heaters. Since it was a rainy and cold day, we decided to be seated indoors. The interior is smaller than I expected and they gave us a large table off to the side. The line for the buffet looked long but it moved along. There is an adjacent room where you go for the main menu items (pasta, egg rolls, Asian chicken, soups, rolls, prime rib, chicken piccata, fish, shrimp, salads, etc), and desserts are just outside of this room. The line for the buffet formed straight through the dining room so we were walking right next to tables where guests were eating. I was glad we didn't get seated in this area. The food was surprisingly good. My favorites were the prime rib, cranberry wild rice, and mashed potatoes. Their Caesar salad was really fresh with crisp greens and lots of shaved parmesan. The prime rib carver will ask your preference on how you like your meat cooked. I asked for a small piece but the nice carver is happy to give you larger cuts too. We all agreed that their prime rib was excellent. The employees are all very sweet. They ask for drink orders and they are good about removing your empty dishes. Desserts were okay, but nothing exceptional. We all said if they had soft serve, we would be elated. We all agreed that this dinner was 100% better than the Thanksgiving meal we had in November but the employees were super nice and accommodating both times we were there. Dining area is clean and managed well. The greatest thing is that this place is non-smoking! There is a large multi-level parking garage.

Well Hibachi Grill Buffet is not a gem but it's definitely a local favorite for sure. There were lots of people coming and going on a Friday around 1pm. Total price for 2 people plus tips was $45. The space is huge with even more seating in the back that they had closed off. Food is steadily being cooked from the kitchen. There is a hibachi grill where you can pick your own beef or chicken and vegetables. Sadly this wasn't too tasty and I thought the beef was cut way too thick for grilling. The sushi section was also a fail. Everything was a Frankenstein type of roll made with the same basic fake imitation crab. The fried section looked tempting but didnt actually taste good. Desserts were very basic and nothing that $5 Safeway deals can't get you. Service and people were very nice and they were great about cleaning plates and maintaining a clean environment. One was the Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab, and it was absolutely delicious! The whole thing was edible, so there was no need to de-shell the crab, and the tempura batter was nice and crispy. The crab also didn't taste fishy at all. I also liked that they served it with a tempura dipping sauce on the side because it helped refresh the dish and cut back on the greasiness a little bit. Another thing I was really super curious to try was the Smoked Salmon. I did order it, but I think the guy working at the sashimi section misheard me and ended up giving me regular salmon instead - boo! I wanted to go back and order more later, but by that point I was already really full, so I decided not to be greedy. Other than that, everything else was pretty much the same as the lunch offerings. In general, my brother and I really like this place. It's definitely our go-to spot when it comes to all you can eat sushi and sashimi. For the price, it's very affordable as you pay a flat price and can order everything off the menu. There's no extra charge for sashimi either which I found that all other ayce sushi places do and even with the extra charge for sashimi at other places, their sashimi is often small and the quality is low or just poorly prepared. At Fuji, the sashimi is always consistent and they provide great cuts and variety of sashimi like salmon, eel, tuna, mackerel, and more. I love that it's already included as part of the price and there's no hidden or extra fees. The rolls taste great as well! You can easily grab the rolls from the shelf where they put the freshly made rolls or if you don't see the rolls you want, you can ask the sushi chefs to make them. Personally, I find it more worth it to ask the sushi chefs for sashimi, hand rolls, and the aburi (seared) salmon which is my personal favorite here lol. For the appetizers, you need to order with the waiters but luckily they're very quick and attentive! The fried oyster is really good. The space itself is pretty large and you'll either be seated at a table or at the bar but if you're able to choose, definitely go with the bar! The bar includes the rotating conveyor belt which often has salmon nigiri and other small dishes which makes it more convenient to sit there. This review has been long overdue tbh but I've been here enough times and the quality, consistency, variety, and price is what makes me keep coming back!

The men's restroom was beyond filthy. 1/2 sinks work. 2 stalls work and the urinal was closed off. The floor was so nasty it was slippery in there. That whole place needs to shut down for a week to deep clean and replace what needs to get fixed. The party room just looked a mess also and the food wasn't good. First, there is a menu where you can place orders with the staff for things like appetizers and drinks. We got some sodas and ordered items such as edamame, miso soup and grilled salmon teriyaki. Then in the center where the conveyor belt is, you can walk around to it and pick up plates that you want to try. It mostly seemed like nigiri and rolls that they were commonly making. In the center, the chef station is between the conveyor belt area and there you can order more specific items you want to try like a roll, sashimi or handrolls. We chose to order some different sashimi like salmon and yellowtail and handrolls like the spider and alaska. They also make a bunch of extra dishes that you can take off the shelf as well. For the price and the experience, we thought it was very enjoyable from the multitude of options to the freshness of the items.

After reviewing a few hot pot places on Yelp, I chose Shabu King based on the positive reviews. I called to make a reservation. On the day of our visit, I was glad to find our table was ready at the appointed time. One of the staff explained that each person first pick a broth type, then you can request side dishes or type of meat(different cuts of beef, pork and there is also lamb). For vegetables and seafood, they have a bar area for each and you can pick from the generous selections of fresh seafood and vegetables. I was really impressed with the variety. For seafood, they have whole small octopus, sliced calamari, fish fillets, clams, mussels, whole large prawns, as well as small crab. They also have a condiment bar for you to make you own dipping sauce. Each person get their own pot, and we enjoyed many helpings throughout the evening. Sometimes it may be difficult to flag down a server, but when you do they are friendly and eager to take your order.
