It was a Sunday afternoon Memorial Day weekend 2026 around 2:30pm and the restaurant was not too crowded and no wait, but comfortably visited by hungry patrons. The food was good, freshly stocked and overall a great buffet experience for our family. The crab legs were fresh and there was a bit of a wait sometimes before refilling the tray, but that was because people grabbed them up pretty quickly. I don't eat sushi and not a big fan of Mongolian even if they had it at this time, so the lack of both did not bother me at all. For an asian buffet experience this was perfect for our family as we were staying in Vacaville for the day. The place felt like the Milpitas buffet in Milpitas which is a local place we visit from time to time. If we lived in Vacaville we would probably visit Kings Buffet regularly. read more

Food is decent for the low priced buffet. Surprisingly the waiter gave us the bill shortly after getting our first round of food. By far the worse buffet I've been too. First off- I'm not a buffet person, my daughter is, and for that reason she was excited and we went. So I went here for a reception after a funeral. You know the thing to do and easy to organize at these types of buffets. Good location and easy to find. Parking spaces are tiny even for my Honda accord. You can see this place from the freeway. Good size restaurant and there is a private room for about 50 people to rent and one server attending. They were not friendly and I meant smiling. Always all business. They were very attentive when needed though. The tables and booths were very old. They definitely need an upgrade. They had utensils and napkins all on display instead of hidden. As for the food, there was a big selection but not much meet for a Saturday. I was surprised. I saw chicken wings which was good. Pork chops looked like old steak pieces but ok tasting. I saw Mongolian beef which was all mainly broccoli. They did replenish many times during the lunch we were there. There was a good size salad bar, seafood bar, dessert bar, fried food but just nothing special. ...Sorry to say. I do like their soft serve ice cream. ;). There was no Mongolian BBQ or sushi (the sign said until further notice), and a lot of the food was poor quality. The broccoli beef looked and tasted like it was left over from the night before and the "teriyaki chicken" was dry and had no flavor. The wonton soup and appetizers were edible, but not much else. The service was also very bad. The server was too busy staring at his phone to notice I needed a refill on my iced tea. This used to be one of my favorite buffet years ago when I lived in Fairfield, but the quality and service have gone downhill substantially since! This Chinese buffet is definitely sub par. The selection of hot food can't compare with what you will find in Sacramento. They appear to pad their offerings with cheap cold stuff like Jello. You would be better served by going to a sit down Chinese restaurant if you are staying in Vacaville. If you see this place from I-80 keep going to find better Chinese buffets. read more

The prices are reasonable and the selection was ok there just was some sections that lacked like the salad bar. The food was ok some of it was really cold despite being in a warmer, some of the fried items or finger foods were either cold or stale so they change or refill when it gets low not when it has been sitting out too long. The restaurant was semi clean, we were not greeted for upon entering we waited 5 mins and were just asked "can I help you?" The server was very courteous and smiley though. The food was great!! Some of the kalimari was hard but the rest of the food was absolutely to DIE for!! My favorite was most-likely the General T'so Chicken, it was the mix between slightly spicy and sweet! 1000/10 would definitely recommend this for those who love anything that tastes like orange chicken!! But he was a very kindhearted person and from the minute we sat down, he was all just smiles and kindness, he definitely deserves a raise! But don't get me started on the Ambiance of the whole place. Everyone felt like they knew eachother and we felt like a family (or at least I did ). The whole staff team was very welcoming and the pink Chandeliers above the buffet was a very nice and soft touch to the entire aesthetic of the place. The entire buffet inside and out just screamed great food; but the main point is the ambiance of the whole place is just warm. It gives off a very warm and comforting vibe. Overall; I would DEFINITELY recommend this to my friends & family. Seems like a very nice place to hangout and gossip about people at our jobs anyways, the food, service and ambiance is a 1000000/10. This place was no different: dingy carpet, torn booth benches, outdated chairs/tables, straight-faced servers...the yoozh. Food had a decent selection. Taste was average. Nothing stood out except the fact that this one had egg tarts (the chinese buffets in my area don't). We ate with a large group, so there was a portion of the dining area sectioned off for us. My specific table was 7 people and the servers were having a bit of trouble keeping the drink orders straight, but we got through it.
