Not good. Not that bad. I primarily ate the oysters. They didn't like that! Certainly not stellar, but noticed there were no Asians there... except the owners.

So I went here for a reception after a funeral. You know the thing to do and easy to organize at these types of buffets. Good location and easy to find. Parking spaces are tiny even for my Honda accord. You can see this place from the freeway. Good size restaurant and there is a private room for about 50 people to rent and one server attending. They were not friendly and I meant smiling. Always all business. They were very attentive when needed though. The tables and booths were very old. They definitely need an upgrade. They had utensils and napkins all on display instead of hidden. As for the food, there was a big selection but not much meet for a Saturday. I was surprised. I saw chicken wings which was good. Pork chops looked like old steak pieces but ok tasting. I saw Mongolian beef which was all mainly broccoli. They did replenish many times during the lunch we were there. There was a good size salad bar, seafood bar, dessert bar, fried food but just nothing special. ...Sorry to say. I do like their soft serve ice cream. ;). Hehe All in all, my friends paid a decent price but there should be more meat. No beef steaks or anything. Nothing special. I guess I am not really into these types of buffets unless it's in Vegas! Hehe. [1 R, 2023]

Terrible experience for this buffet. Little food on menus. Too salty for fried squid. Service is so bad. There is only man clean up table.

The setup was pretty interesting with tables on the side and a conveyor belt with the center where the chefs are working and seating lined around that. The staff were kind and helpful in explaining how it all worked being that it was all you can eat. First, there is a menu where you can place orders with the staff for things like appetizers and drinks. We got some sodas and ordered items such as edamame, miso soup and grilled salmon teriyaki. Then in the center where the conveyor belt is, you can walk around to it and pick up plates that you want to try. It mostly seemed like nigiri and rolls that they were commonly making. In the center, the chef station is between the conveyor belt area and there you can order more specific items you want to try like a roll, sashimi or handrolls. We chose to order some different sashimi like salmon and yellowtail and handrolls like the spider and alaska. They also make a bunch of extra dishes that you can take off the shelf as well. For the price and the experience, we thought it was very enjoyable from the multitude of options to the freshness of the items.

Well Hibachi Grill Buffet is not a gem but it's definitely a local favorite for sure. There were lots of people coming and going on a Friday around 1pm. Total price for 2 people plus tips was $45. The space is huge with even more seating in the back that they had closed off. Food is steadily being cooked from the kitchen. There is a hibachi grill where you can pick your own beef or chicken and vegetables. Sadly this wasn't too tasty and I thought the beef was cut way too thick for grilling. The sushi section was also a fail. Everything was a Frankenstein type of roll made with the same basic fake imitation crab. The fried section looked tempting but didnt actually taste good. Desserts were very basic and nothing that $5 Safeway deals can't get you. Service and people were very nice and they were great about cleaning plates and maintaining a clean environment. There were a few hot items that I liked so I mainly just stuck to those things. Check out my pics and videos for all of their offerings. My favorite was the "scallion chicken stirfry" which actually tasted authentic and the bbq chicken was also pretty tasty. For the price, it's fair but not something I would go to again.

Most of the inside seating was full, only 2 tables for 2 were available (were were a party of 3), but a nice lady (might be the owner's daughter) with 2 small children got up and came up to me to let me know she was getting ready to leave soon. She moved all their stuff and the 2 children to one of the small tables so the bigger table could be cleaned for us. They were a little short handed that day (owner said someone called in sick), so just the owner and cook were working. Bother owner and the cook worked fast to clean the table so we could be seated. More people came in after us and sat in their outdoor seating (a little chilly to sit outside that day). The owner did a great job serving all the customers by himself. The cook would help deliver the cooked food as well and help with customers if he wasn't cooking. The owner was apologetic about the slower service, but in actuality, it wasn't bad. As for the food, we ordered our usual, the Picanha Steak Platter (feeds 2-4 people) which is our favorite and over the best deal. Unfortunately in the past 2 years the price has gone up by about $20 (currently $70.99), but is still a great deal for 5 steaks on a sizzling platter (cooked to the doneness you want), rice and beans. The meal was delicious as usual. They have other great selections as well. Check them out for some great Brazilian food that is made to order.

We ordered the chicken chow mein, beef fried rice, walnut prawns, and salt and pepper wings -- everything was so delicious and not greasy at all! The service is incredible too. This place was the perfect rescue for Chinese New Year when you don't want to cook but still want something comforting and special. We've been coming here since I moved to the Solano area almost 7 years ago, and it continues to be one of our favorite places to eat. Always such a great experience -- thank you so much! You make your own bow of food (raw) and they cook it for you. Meal starts with noodles, then veggies, meat, and final stage is the sauce. They have a list of recommended spoonfuls of each, and you can get wild with it if you want! I went garlic heavy and really liked it. Veggies were cabbage, onion, broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, sprouts, spinach, kale, peppers, and a few others. Meat was beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. I tried the beef and lamb with my two servings, preference was the beef. Ambiance is good - somewhat busy and they're cooking food nearly non stop. After our second plate a big lunch rush came in, we had enough already but wait would have been a bit longer after a group of 10 came in! Always a good sign when people keep coming in, and you can tell there are some regulars with the interactions from patrons and staff. You make your own food, so up to you to make it how you like it! I liked what I assembled, and will likely go back next time I'm feeling this type of meal. We didn't try the hot pot, but looked good. Recommend.

The Kung Pao chicken could have had the veggies chopped smaller, but it's no big deal, it had plenty of peanuts which was a nice surprise. The service was great our water cups were never empty and empty plates were collected at an appropriate time. The staff was kind and very inviting.
