It was our first time here and it seemed like a nice, average Chinese food buffet. They had a decent variety of food. Everything looked clean, including the restrooms. We got there at 1:30 pm on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. There is seating on both sides of the food bars in the middle and the seating was maybe 1/3 full. It started filling up more around 3 pm when we left. They have the food bars covered in plastic and the employees help plate your selections for you. A line would occasionally form, but it moved quickly. They ran out of chow mein at one point causing a slight delay, but they mostly did a good job keeping an eye on the food and keeping the trays fresh and full. During lunch 4 of the 6 food bars were filled with food and the sushi bar toward the back was closed. I'm not sure if it opens for dinner. They didn't have a salad bar when we went, but they had a few different soups to choose from and fruit (oranges, cherries, melon, etc). They had the usual variety of stir fry veg and dishes to choose from. They also had a nice selection of seafood (crawfish, salmon, salt and pepper fried shrimp, baked mussels, oysters, clams, etc). Overall we had a satisfying Sunday lunch for the family (which includes a teenager and primary schooler). It was an average Chinese food buffet that met our expectations. We don't go to buffets very often, but we would be happy to come back to this one again when the craving hits. read more

Nothing really good to say about this place since I last visited here. I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was busy but not packed. Upon entering, my daughter noticed the empty , dirty koi pond...not the only thing dirty. The place definitely needed a renovation at the least. The carpet was nasty to walk on and definitely wasn't going to past any health inspection. We were given plastic, flimsy folks to dine with...Wow. Gone are the snow crab legs, at least for tonight. Steamed oysters never made it to the steam trays, people were waiting for them. The beef broccoli had a vibrant red glow to it, kinda scary to eat. The chow mein was soaking in oil just like ramen noodles. The egg drop soup looked and tasted like laundry water. The won ton soup was won ton less, as usual. The only good, tasty item was probably the chicken wings. Now for the nasty, nasty. There were plenty of plastic gloves on the food display for customers to use but the majority didn't bother or wore their face mask. The waitress was even nastier...she was picking up dirty dishes and didn't glove up. What was nasty was that she didn't even wash her hands or sanitize them before serving customers their drinks. Food always replenish. Actually had tons of oysters and kept it full. Food was warm and tastier than other Chinese buffet. Service could improve. Waitress was fine but the front desk kid could use a smile and he could had picked up the big dirty napkin on the ground right by our table. Overall, I would enjoy and recommend going here. My husband, my mom, my adult daughter and I, arrived on September 1st, around 6pm. We were all half-way through our plates of food when my daughter exclaims, "There is a roach in my food!" It was mixed in her fried rice. She used her fork to push it to the corner of her plate so that we could examine it to make sure it wasn't something like a mouse dropping, or a piece of fecal material. It was definitely a roach! My husband snapped a photo and then he and my daughter took the plate to the manager. She apologized and said no charge for the half eaten dinners, which was what I expected. I really wanted to like this place, but I just couldn't. We went there for lunch after a graduation ceremony at a nearby school and was so disappointed. It was about 12:30 and there were maybe 6 people there. The place is old and it smells and looks old. But that's not the bad part, it's the food. Everything that was supposed to be hot or warm was cold and everything that was supposed to be cold was room. Typical Chinese buffet food with the addition of sushi that was gross and a Mongolian bar where the cook was a hit or miss. The desserts were dry and tasteless also. Basically everything looked and tasted old. Bonus was finding hair in my food. Eww gross! That just made my stomach turn and I regretted every single bite I took. I don't have high expectations for Chinese buffets but this one was worse than I expected. Hopefully the owners will take to heart all the reviews and make some positive changes. But as of now, the only positive thing was the cute little knick knacks they sell by the register and Maggie the hostess was so nice. We went to King's Buffet on 19 March 2023 to celebrate my Mother's birthday. The food was great and plentiful as we were among the first inside when it opened. As it just opened up, it was nice and cozy plenty of food, TV entertainment and quiet. We were seated on the left side (exit side) and our server was very attentive, and always checking on us. She surprised my Mother with a small cake from their chocolate mousse complete with a candle and sang her Happy Birthday! She really made that day more than just a meal. This place has been open for at least six years and normally that is a problem when it comes to buffets since they normally decline with age. It was this decline which I noticed four years ago which has kept me from eating here. Upon a friends recommendation I decided to give it another try. I am not sure if there has been a change of ownership, but the place had better food than it did on my last visit. The buffet itself is huge with several hot food stations, salads, sushi, Mongolian BBQ and deserts. As can be expected in any buffet there were some good items and some bad items. I found the mushroom pork, green beans, and spicy chicken to be my favorite entrees. Some of the items looked dead, but most were relatively fresh looking. Lunch runs a reasonable $7.99. Service was not friendly but prompt and the place overall was kept fairly clean. This is a very large place and large parties can be handled easily. Overall I rate this place 2.75 Stars. Some food is good some food you might be afraid to eat but if you feel like feeding your belly on a budget this might be a good spot for you :) read more

This place is cheap, even for a bargain seafood buffet. We came for lunch on a weekday (Friday), and it cost us less than $24 for two (including tax). That is cheap. - Service. The people there are polite and very attentive. What needs improvement: - Food. The food are not warm. They're not cold, but could use a little bit more heat. And worse, the taste. The waiter I don't actually think was human. Either that, or he was super rude. We were sitting for about 10 minutes (there's maybe 2 other people in the entire place) before he asked what we wanted. It is not bad, but isn't great either. I went on a Sunday around lunchtime and you get charged dinner price, which is $13.75 I believe. That's incredibly cheap price for a buffet and the food is on par with the price. The food is super oily and there aren't a variety of food to choose from. I've never been to a Chinese buffet restaurant in a while. My friends and I, and about 80 more people, were invited to lunch here after attending a service for another friend. Food was decent. I've enjoyed all their dishes. They were cooked well, everything tasted delicious! The only negative thing is the amount of salt in some of the dishes but I guess that's what made them so good! I'm not sure how much each person's lunch cost but however much it was, it was worth every penny. Staff were efficient and friendly, too, despite the number of people who came at one time. Haven't been to King's in a couple of years. As soon as we walked in there was someone to great us once she finished sending her text. Once seated we got up and got some food. They have a huge selection especially for people who love seafood. I'm not a seafood lover so I can't speak on the matter. The other food they had was greasy.i got the chow mein and at first it was good but greasy. When I went back for a second helping I found a hair in my food. I wanted to try the Mongolian food but that station was closed for the day. It took awhile for the server to come around to offer drinks even though the guy was sitting at the back behind our row he didn't offer to get us drinks. I had to go to the front cashier to have the guy shout at the server. While walking out under the serving station I saw a couple of bugs covered in dust.
