I'm only doing the one star review because it was a full house in there. I forgot it was Mother's Day and the salon was full. Over all the people working there were so nice and helpful. The pedicure was nice but the nails salon didn't have the color I wanted for my toes but the hand nails... the lady who did my nails was so professional and nice. I loved that she suggested certain colors and designs. Price is higher than other places but they did a great job. I paid 105 for the nails and 70 for pedi. read more

Saguaro nails is usually not my go to salon in the area, but I honestly have not been very impressed with my go to so I decided to stop by and check them out! First, the salon was very organized/clean - they have signs displaying the free beverages they offer during service as well as a menu to order alcohol. Something that isn't available at every salon! So if you're looking for an elevated girls day or self care day - you can sip on champagne, wine or beer. Sarah did my pedi with regular polish and my gel mani - I'd like to start off by saying I appreciate how she didn't really "push" or question my selection in service. I chose the cheapest pedicure and just a simple gel mani - she happily performed the service. She did an amazing job on my nails and toes, and was so sweet when it came to my baby getting a little fussy towards the end of the service. I've come twice to Saguaro Nails Bar and I have been impressed each time. It is a reasonable price for the service and experience you get. It is clean, not too loud, and they offer a huge selection of colors in both dip and gel polishes. I had Austin do my fill and gel today and he was kind, helpful, funny, and fast. He listened to what I wanted and made it happen. They have a great reward system and they have some free drinks (water and soda) for while you wait. I always come here for pedicures and have had good experiences in the past. Today I went to get a pedicure and a full set of nails. I let myself get convinced for the flex gel nails which are $60. I felt like I was being pressured to add more and more things done! Not only that but I asked for short nails and I'm not sure why but the nail tech kind of smirked as if my request was strange or something. She tries to convince me to keep them longer and this really bothered me! The shape that I requested was also another thing: I asked square with rounded edges and she completely ignored it and left them so wide. Not a good experience at all! read more

Bad customer service and cheap product. I got my nails done Wednesday. The very next day one broke. I went Friday for a repair. I go home pick up some towels and broke 2 more. I had a busy week and returned the following Friday for a repair since I had a party this weekend. The woman at the front desk was very rude when I tried to show her how thin the nails were. She then pulled up my last appointment and told me it's been 10 days and I need a fill that is why they broke. I told her they broke last Friday after I was just there and didn't have time to keep coming back. She then told me I needed to call when I broke a nail. Don't waste your money here. read more

I had high hopes especially for the high prices, I got almond shaped gel X nails and when they were done it looked like I had week old nails. I don't know why they leave so much space between cuticle and nail. They did not clean or buff around the nail just little common sense of how nails should be delivered. Had me waiting on the chair for 20 min straight while the nail lady was in front of me on her phone giggling and laughing at her phone . Didn't acknowledge me at all. I called to see if they had time for a fill Once I arrived I was immediately seat which is impressive since they are busy... The woman they sat me with was Amy She was laidback on here phone texting when the gentleman handed me off she proceeded to scoof and roll her eyes I asked a total of 3 time to see the colors before she actually brought them over and stopped ignoring me. I'm not sure if she was having a off day but she was knocking everything over and cut me 2x and once she got to the acrylic part she was using so much monomer that it looked like my fingers were melting... I then asked her to make them thicker bc they appeared paper thin and I don't want to spend my money to have them break in 2 days. She filled my request and they looked ALOT better. I wanted to get a design which I have no problem paying for but I didn't want to sit in the chair any longer with how unprofessional she was. So I settle for a colored acrylic and clear coat. On top of that she had a messy station and did not use clean utensils she pulled out 4 previous buffers that were obviously used proceeded to use every single one on me before she got a new one. I will tell you she was fast with her work so that's a plus and the nails did turn out good( trust the process kinda thing) The shop itself is a little small for how busy they are the entire way is clean but once you get to the back I thought it's a bit messy and definitely could've been cleaner. read more

My son was hanging out at Westgate with friends so I stopped into this nail bar. Gorgeous interior everyone was very friendly and has an ATM with no fees inside if you need to get cash, which is very convenient. I got the spa pedicure and I love that they have everything portioned out so every time you come it'll always be the same. The chairs are great very comfortable and help ergonomically for the technician. Prices are what I consider reasonable and typical. I will come back when I'm on this side of town for sure. read more

Honestly would never come back here. Came here for ONE broken nail do he fixed. Mind you I usually never have to deal with shops because I go to an independent nail artist but she was booked and I needed one nail fixed for a party. I came right when they opened. I just said I need one nail fixed and color to be similar to it. He then asked if I wanted white on my nail. Ummm no my tips aren't white I will look crazy?? So then I just said find a nude close. So he does.....no where close but whatever at this point I don't care. But the shape itself is horrendous. It's not even close to my other nails. Even length. Idk I feel like one nail repair should be the most simple task. He also kept getting up. Even got up and had a full conversation with someone who walked in after....def won't be back. read more

Ok so ABSOLUTELY NOT to this place. Here's WHY: -- They act like they are doing you a favor here and you're spending your hard earned money with them. -- Chairs are dirty like a Magic Johnson movie theater. You for sure want to be sure you shower with extra hot water as soon as you leave this place (which I wouldn't recommend coming here to begin with). -- It's always packed in here. Typically for most nail salons, you can go in the middle of the week early in the morning w/ it not being busy. This one is busy 24/7, it doesn't matter what time of day or what time of the week you go. Ok so I've been here about five times, my last visit will definitely be it for me. I went in for a pedicure and manicure. Typically I do classic on the toes and I have clear polish on my fingers. The woman seem to act like she has something going on in her life that she wanted me bare the burden too with her attitude. Meaning that, she kept telling me to relax my fingers, and as they were relaxed, she still was being very authoritative with my hands. When my fingers went limp, which is what she wanted me to do she started to straighten them out then when I straighten them out, she tried to push them down for them to go limp. I'm like lady what in the world do you want? I found it very odd that she was rushing through the job which is easy to see how she cut me the times she did. She cut me at least two times on my fingers, first time she did it she act like it didn't happen then she saw she couldn't avoid it and said sorry. I just gave her the look of, "Really..." Judging by the other reviews here cutting is what they do here, they do more than cut your nails, they'll cut you too lol. Lastly, I went and paid, I'm a very generous tipper because I know how it is working hard. Like I said I've been here 5 times, this time it seemed like the lady charged me more. I was already done with the place mentally and just paid because I had it in my mind that would never be getting another cent again from me. Funny thing is after they charged me more, she had the nerve to point at the ATM machine and say, "Tip over there." As to me getting a tip from the machine for the person who cut me like Edward Scissor Hands . "Tip over there." My reply was, "Uhh huh, sho is aint it." And walked out. When I first got to this nail bar, it was packed full of people. Regardless, they got me in very swiftly! I wanted to get off my acrylic set and just go to gel. My nail tech, Amy , give me a recommendation of waiting for switching to gel after another acrylic fill, but I decided otherwise and she did exactly what I wanted! And she did great. She gently removed my acrylic, and cleaned up my cuticles beautifully. Then she made sure I got the exact gel look that I wanted. I'll be back to see her in the future! The only complaint and reason I gave four stars was because the ATM was not functioning properly and me and a few other customers couldn't get cash out for tips. So, I had to drive several miles away and back in order to give my nail tech her well-deserved tip. read more

Used to come to this nail shop every two weeks. I was seeing a man but he was doing the acrylic on my big toes very thick. so I started seeing a lady name Anna. She does my feet good, however I have sensitive feet and Cant take all the deep clipping and digging. It seem that when a request for her not to clip my cuticles too much she gets attitude and become ruff and rude. I thought it was a language barrier so I explained to her supervisor. I'm not complaining. I would like for her to do less clipping. also, once I deal with one Nail Tec, I don't like to be pushed around to differentil Tec. I just like consistency. so Anna has been doing my nails every two weeks. August 21, 2024 I got a manicure along with the pedicure. Anna was so busy looking at other clients come in to the nail shop that she couldn't focus on doing my manicure she literally dipped the polish brush on the counter instead of the polish bottle because she was not paying attention. I had a trip the next day to and had no time for her to do things over. I was also skeptical about mentioning to Anna that my polish looked as if I needed a retouch before I even left the chair. Because her attitude is so bad if you don't accept what she gives you. I feel like it's my money and I'm paying for you to do a job. I wanted to walk out the nail shop happy with my nails. I'm paying full price and a 20 percent tip minimum, and I tip regardless knowing that tips earned. I left the shop to go on a trip to Tahiti with my manicure looking like a child did them. My thoughts were that maybe she had a bad day, sometimes we all have a bad day so I let it go. I came back a week and a half later because my nails just look that bad. I walk in and wish her a hello. I asked her if she could push the polish back as far as she could. all of a sudden she was giving me attitude as always. she said maybe someone else can do your nails. I told her no because I don't like to deal with different nail Tecs. i'm only requesting that you put the nail polish further back. as normal because she was upset, she started clipping my cuticles extra hard and filing my nails hard. Saying its my skin, she don't take accountability, there always and excuse " my skin, my hails " I don't care the price. Just give me what I want. I told her months ago to not clip the top of my of my cuticles because she always cut me and that hurts. So here I am today with cuts and chipped polish on a manicure I just got yesterday. Time for a new nail shop and a happy nail Tec. She didn't allow me to wash my hands and was asking me what color without getting me a color palette. One hand I the curing machine and one in her hand. The lady next to me was asking. Your hand are occupied how can you choose a color. I need a Tec who's professional on the job. No thank you, I spend to much money and tip well to be treated this way $20-25 in tip for a Mani and Pedi that she rushes through. read more

My favorite nail salon! Decided to try this place since it was so close to home & they did not disappoint! I have been here numerous times now & they're always so friendly, accommodating and they do a good job. If something isn't to my liking, they've never had a problem fixing it. I usually get a full set & the deluxe pedicure. I love that they time themselves for the massage part of your pedicure to ensure you're getting your full massage time. I have had to wait once for about 30 minutes because they were very busy, but they apologized & took me back as quick as they could. This is my new go to salon. read more

I came here for the first time yesterday as a walk in with my friend. We weren't greeted at all and checked in on the iPad and sat for about 5 mins before someone even acknowledged we were waiting. We got seated for pedicures first and my lady was super rude and impatient. She rushed my whole pedicure and it was not worth the $34 dollars. My polish wasn't completely in my toes, so I had to tell someone she didn't finish my pedicure and I didn't get the top coat. She finally came over and fixed it and seemed so upset by it. Then we went to another table for dip powder. I had a different lady do my nails and when I sat down she immediately started rushing through the whole manicure. She was at least talkative and friendly but since she rushed at the end of my dip I checked my nails and there was black polish all over the sides of my nails and on my fingers. The top coat was not fully on my nails so on some fingers it looks like matte nails. Tried taking photos but camera won't focus on the nails so doesn't show much. I am beyond frustrated with the amount of money I paid about $72 dollar and to have horrible service and a horrible job done. I will never go back to this salon again. read more

I found this place on yelp and I tried and it out and fell in love! My last nail lady quit & relocated. I was in desperate need off a great nail tech and I was blown away. As soon as you walk in they offer you drinks and find room for you. I was all over the place and didn't know exactly what I wanted but Bobby helped me out and came up with some wicked nails. He did such a great job on my nails and even looking around everyone's nails looked actually good! It was crazy. The over all business was great and clean and very convenient for me. It's only 6 minutes away from my apartment and that's magical. I can't wait to go back I've already been gathering some winter inspo and I can't wait to see Bobby's feedback. Terrible experience and will now be taking my business elsewhere. I got a classic gel French tip pedicure and it turned out so bad, my left nail is completely crooked and it wasn't like that before. The French tip is extremely uneven and I could have done a better job myself. She also made me bleed and didn't say sorry or do Anything about it. Just completely ignored that she hurt me. For my fill, I wanted a square shape French tip and I got thick acrylic with an ugly French tip. I asked her to make them thinner and she said no. It's pretty sad that we pay so much money and we can't even get what we ask for, and if we do we get attitude back. Don't forget customers are what keep you in business, so maybe treat them nicer and learn how to accommodate to people's needs. At the end of the day we are the reason you are still in business. I went in @10 to get my nails done with a friend hoping to be out by 11:30. Within 5 minutes they take my friend back, so I thought I'd be sat down soon too. 15 minutes passed I thought to myself maybe their busy. As I'm waiting more people walk in hoping to get their nails done too, and are sat 5 minutes after they walked in. I was confused I patiently waited as they continued to sit people that would come in after me. Meanwhile as I was waiting looking around wondering when I'd be sat the workers were looking at me not saying a thing. An hour passed by and my friend had finished getting her nails done, it was around 11:15. That's when the male receptionist looks at me and says we'll get to you shortly. Then proceeds to ask my friend if she'd be waiting for me. I said that I didn't have enough time to get my nails done hence why I went in early, and he looked at me disappointed. LOVE IT HERE!! This review is long overdue. I moved to the west valley a few months ago and it took me a while to find a salon I felt comfortable at. 12/10 recommend it every time. Tim does my acrylics and they are always perfect. I have never gotten so many compliments on my nails. I get gel and a design so it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, and Tim delivers perfection! (although I have seen some amazing nails from other techs) I love getting pedicures here as well, everyone is great and I have no preference. I've loved coming here for the last few years but my last time in I was charged a ridiculous amount for my nails. I'm not a confrontational person so I didn't say anything. But I could have 100% gone to any other nail salon nearby and get the same thing for half the price. The person doing my nails was very nice but and did great up until the end. He was gluing diamonds down and got the glue all over the nails. It looked so sloppy with glue everywhere and the diamonds stuck in glue blobs. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if I wasn't charged a bunch for these nails . Loved this place for a while but I think it's time to find a new local favorite salon. read more
