Highly disappointed with this salon. I showed them a picture from their own website of what I wanted (had a butterfly detail on the ring fingers) and the woman told me, "you don't want that, too expensive." I was so embarrassed, my friend had taken me there for my birthday and I was more than happy to pay extra. I didn't want to argue in front of everyone so I said okay and picked a polish for my acrylics. The guy doing my nails was nice, but after painting one hand the nail polish bottle was empty and he turned it upside down and went UH OH. They didn't have any more and the closest color was gel so they removed the other hand and painted them. Came in just for a quick pedicure but the inside was so nice, my sister and I saw the different options and decided to go with the deluxe option I think. It was $75, had a mask, scrub, hot stone, and gel color. My feet felt new ! My favorite part was the hot stone, very calming and soothing. The staff were all so sweet, nice to talk to we ended up getting our nails done too. Let me first say that I usually love this place and how my nails turn out. I am extremely disappointed because this is already the "fix" and I let them know I needed them to be done right the second time because I was going on vacation. The first time, the top coat peeled in less than a week. I went back and he was quick to say they would fix them. I just asked for them to be taken off and to start over so they would last my entire vacation. I paid for a new dip mani because I requested to start from scratch. I was completely ok with that. I asked the guy to please make sure the top coat was good this time and he assured me that they knew what went wrong the first time. Two days later, first day on vacation... my nails start peeling. Alright, whatever maybe I'm using my hands more. Then the next day, one nail chips... Meh. Overpriced. Despite the appointment, I was served 20 minutes after arriving at appointed time. You have to pay extra for callous removal on pedicure. Really?! Wait, what is a pedicure by definition?! After paying extra for the "AZ Sun" pedicure (this includes the "cheese shredder), my big toe STILL isn't as smooth as it could be! Lol. I received a massage that was lazier than the boyfriend after a shot of tequila in the AZ sun. No individual toe pop!? No arch knead?! Where did they train?! Or is everyone fried from the AZ sun?! Visiting from out of state, currently all salons are closed due to the pandemic where I live. So happy to finally get a pedicure. Got the "Westgate Special Pedicure", everything I needed. I was only gonna get the pedicure but it was so amazing when I was asked if I wanted a manicure I said, "you know what, I wasn't going to but I will now, just to clean up my hands with a clear coat", great job on my hands too. My skin feels incredible! I feel brand new. Worth every penny! Perfect for a 4-month pregnant woman who's been stuck inside due to the pandemic for months and nauseous and sick all pregnancy long. From the moment I called hoping to get a same day appointment, the man that answered was polite. The women that did my nails was great. I went in for a fill today and left with white bubbly nails. On top of that the guy who was doing my nails was very rude.. I seen he was getting frustrated because my fjngers We're ti close??? In all my years of getting my nails done I've never had someone be so rude. I've been here previously because of the great attitudes and atmosphere and now. I will not be returning. Please be mindful coming here. They are under new management but it honestly needs work. I shouldn't have to tell a "professional" nail tech that there's glue all over my fingers or whatever it is cracking around my nail beds. I was charged $77 for uneven, mis-shaped "coffin tip" nails. It looks like I did these myself at home. If you tell the nail techs here they've messed up or you see something you'd like fixed they'll either tell you they know what they're doing or they'll find a way to upcharge you so you get what you want. DO NOT GO HERE. First, I called ahead to set an appointment and still waiting over 10-15 minutes. When I sat in the chair the massage part didn't work. So I asked to be moved, didn't happen. Then the nail tech got the massager to work down on her end where she sits. When she rubbed my legs they were still soaked from her putting water all over them so it was slick and didn't even feel like my legs were being rubbed. I paid $45 for the deluxe that says 10 min massage. I timed it and it was only 5. So about 2.5 minutes per leg. I then asked for the massager to be turned off since I couldn't control it on my remote thing. That didn't happen. I also originally asked for shellac and then changed my mind. I asked her if I could do white nail polish instead of shellac. That didn't happen. She still started doing the shellac. My mom and I (traveling from out of town) arrived on time for appointments booked well in advance and the salon was extremely behind and did nothing to acknowledge or accommodate us for 25 minutes after our booked appointment time. I felt unwanted and like a burden even thought I was there to pay for my service (again, booked well in advance!). Ultimately we were on a time crunch, so I let my mom have the first technician that opened up so that we wouldn't be late for our plans. I left, happy to not waste my money on an unfortunately managed business. Super disappointed in this salon. I just got engaged and decided to get my nails done. My regular salon was closed so I found this place. I asked for an ombré pink/white, and they confirmed they knew what I meant. The first red flag was how the tech went straight to sizing the fake nails to mine.. no cleaning of the nails or cuticles was done, at all. Didn't even push them back. And when I asked, they said it would be an additional $20 to do the clean up/cuticle work that I've literally always experienced as a part of the manicure... I obviously declined since my set was already $55. During the set, I saw the employees treat 5 different customers poorly, one poor girl was almost bullied out of her set completely just because she didn't know the terms they were using.. it was super sad to see. My nails are sore, they don't look clean, the nails are crooked, it looks like I already have regrowth but its been one day, and the attitudes of the employees were just sad to witness. The only reason I would give this place a star is for the one employee who gave my parents a good experience. Aside from that this place is filled with judgement. Both my parents went in to this spa to try and find their new go-to place to get their nails done. They both always get pedicures together and never have been treated like how they were here. Persistent dirty looks and comments made towards my dad, because who knew getting your toes done with some color was a crime? Pushing higher prices and acting like it was appalling to see a man get his toes done. All they wanted to do was enjoy their usual spa date together and it was nothing but uncomfortable.
